Sressechka was born to a couple of assembly line laborers in the industrialized immigrant sector of Fondor. Having a lot of free time on her hands while her parents were slaving away, the Twi’lek got into a lot of trouble messing around on swoop bikes with her big brother and their troublemaker friends.
Her brother became a bit of a schemer and they set up shop in a condemned garage for a time, ‘spiffing up’ their friends’ rides. By the time the building was razed, they had sold their bikes and saved up enough money to purchase an unfortunate Skyhopper. They taught themselves to fly until her brother attempted a triple-corkscrew-lobotomy maneuver (as he called it) and ended up clipping their bird’s wings and destroying his shins.
One thing the siblings had never learned was when to bail out. Sressechka patched up the old aircraft and continued to play it by ear. She started barnstorming and performing in stunt shows initially to help raise money for her brother’s hospital bills, but continued her exhibitions even after the money was acquired in order to earn a cheap cred for herself. She began to planet-hop and tour backwater worlds where her type of classic showmanship was still appreciated, featuring at festivals, airshows, and in races--including a podrace on Sakura.
Unfortunately, Sressi's T-16 seemed to be cursed, and a devastating accident occurred in the course of a race on Taanab. Luckily, the twi'lek pilot was rescued in the nick of time by a mysterious Jedi, but her craft was totaled.
Then war happened, and Sressi decided to utilize her piloting talent for something far more important--and possibly better paying--than barnstorming. War changed everything.
