Recordkeeping & Surveillance
Sturdy design
Strengths:
Assistant: The SSB L3-37 class protocol droid is an advanced protocol droid capable of functioning as an information droid with holonet access. It knows over 6,000 languages and is very capable of providing courteous assistance. It contains a hidden paddle beamer and ion shrieker for emergency situations hidden under the right and left arms which are utilized based on the threat evaluation module.
Recordkeeping & Surveillance: The SSB L3-37 class protocol droid has advanced monitoring, recording, lifeform and droid tracking capabilities. It is capable facial recognition, tracking services, and audio and video recording that fed towards a pyrowall and socket guarded protected storage.
Construction: The SSB L3-37 droid has its electronic components coated with plastiray, providing enhanced ion, EMP, and electronic protection. Its chassis is constructed out of alusteel for durability and has white agrinium armor in a sleek design for enhanced protection against radiation and damage.
Weaknesses:
Not a fighter: The SSB D0-7 class droid was made mainly to provide assistance to patrons at the various SSB locations, Expos, and Auctions and for recordkeeping. While it may have a paddle beamer or an ionic beamer for emergency situations, it has very little chance in combat against trained or armed opponents.
Ghost in the Machine: The SSB D0-7 may be prone to the development of personality quirks. Frequent memory wipes and close monitoring are required.
Zap Zap: While plastiray provides enhanced ion, EMP, and electronic protection, sustained and focused fire attacks may temporarily disable the droid, prompting a reboot cycle of at least 30 seconds.

DESCRIPTION
With the Southern Systems Business Bazaar Annual Expo and Auction just around the corner, a new line of information assistant and surveillance droids were produced to provide courteous assistance to all patrons.
They were designed to appear friendly and easily approachable. The SSB L3-37 droid has its electronic components coated with plastiray, providing enhanced ion, EMP, and electronic protection. Its chassis is constructed out of alusteel for durability and has white agrinium armor in a sleek design for enhanced protection against radiation and damage.
The L3-37 Protocol droid comes with many features that allow it to serve two distinct functions: Information Assistant and Surveillance. For the former, it contains a vast information network and software modules such as the SSB Expo and Galactic Market information database and provides the ultimate user-level data-retrieval droid of its time. Found in almost every SSB location and ATC location in the galaxy, the droid allowed efficient data access for travelers, allowing them to research flight times, local customs and laws, as well as basic research and communication. With a pleasant personality matrix demeanor, it is able to react to stress levels and soothe any escalating disturbances with its calm interactive personality. It contains a stenographic recorder which alongside the droid's inbuilt microphone, the recorder assists the unit in recording business meetings and presentations.
A vocoder allows the droid to interact socially with patrons. Facial-recognition software enabled the L3-37 units to recall customers' likenesses, and thus identify "regulars". The droid also sported a built-in comlink which could contact local authorities in some cases. It also sports an enhanced TranLang III Communications Module accessing over 6,000 languages.
For surveillance, the L3-37 droid is able to “see" in several different modes, accepting signals from the photoreceptors and processing it according to the droid's internal commands. The "Human" mode allowed the droid to see in the visual spectrum of Human beings. Other modes included a neon mode that enhanced color saturation, and an infrared mode that allowed the droid to see in the dark. Olfactory sensors provided droids with a sense of smell. It contains advanced facial recognition software, audio, visual, holographic, infrared, ultraviolet, and provided the ability for the detection of intruders hidden or visually camouflaged by means other than stealth fields. In this manner, it is capable of advanced monitoring and surveillance that can be feed into a remote database for SSB Security to monitor.
It is capable of tracking and monitoring remotely with a detachable remote viewer. AThis provided a small self-contained audio/video sensor attached to a micro repulsorlift. It performs as a regular sensor, but could be detached and sent to scout an area remotely. It normally could be deployed for 30 minutes before needing to be recharged. It also contains a repulsorcam, which allows an audio/video recorder that was mounted on a tiny repulsorlift. It was mounted on a droid's chassis, and could be deployed to fly to a remote location and record. It had enough internal memory to store 2 hours of audio and video.
The Threat Evaluation Module was part of the standard equipment installed on the L3-37 Protocol droids. It allowed the droid to run through a series of threat analysis programs to determine the best response when interacting with a target and locating it. While it is not a combat droid, it is equipped with a standard paddle beamer and ion shrieker for emergency situations.
The SSB D0-7 class droid was made mainly to provide assistance to patrons at the various SSB locations, Expos, and Auctions and for recordkeeping. While it may have a paddle beamer or an ionic beamer for emergency situations, it has very little chance in combat against trained or armed opponents. While plastiray provides enhanced ion, EMP, and electronic protection, sustained and focused fire attacks may temporarily disable the droid, prompting a reboot cycle of at least 30 seconds.
The SSB D0-7 may be prone to the development of personality quirks. Frequent memory wipes and close monitoring are required.
