Faction Sssh! We're Writing the Hutt Constitution

Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
Location: Broka's Sky Palace on Nar-Shaddaa

The plan was almost complete. The three Hutts rallied the Jedi to discuss terms of joining their concord until the menace of the Bryn'adul has been dealt with, and the Silver Jedi Concord managed to lay claim to the system housing Nar-Shaddaa and Nal-Hutta. It was now the time for the Hutt Republic to be properly born as a lesser entity within the Concord. A government that will show proper legitimacy to all neighbors of Hutt Space today that the Hutts will rule again. Despite the slave trade being outlawed, the movement to create the Hutt Republic still holds momentum among the Hutt species. However, now was the time to put this ambition into a more concrete documented form to make the Hutt Republic official by creating the very first Hutt Constitution. Today was a day the galaxy never saw coming.

Broka was still hosting the other two Hutts, Lorda Gortta of the Desilijic Clan and Queen Popara of the Anjiliac Clan. Invitations were sent to the Concord's diplomats that came when the Jedi were helping the Hutts claim the Smuggler's Moon. These Jedi are invited to bare witness to the birth of a revolutionary age for the Hutts. A somewhat enlightened return to power. The birth of the Hutt Republic.

The Hutts were all seated in an audience chamber in the palace. It felt relatively small as the larger chairs for the Hutts took over most of the space in the auditorium. Meanwhile, seats were arranged so that the diplomats that entered Broka's house prior to this occasion could bare witness to this event, if they decide to come. Broka lurched out of his chair to make his opening address to the other two Hutts in the room.

"<We have done it my fellow Hutts! We have secured our planet from the lesser scum of this world, and we can truly say that we rule the Smuggler's Moon once more. We have achieved domestic autonomy from the Silver Jedi Concord so we can govern ourselves, yet have enough protection to build our new system for the future of our species' society. In order to show the rest of the galaxy that the Hutt Republic is a truly legitimate political entity, we shall document the future constitution of our new republic so that the law is concrete, and indisputable. You can see now that one of my scribes is ready to write whatever we approve of for the document. Now; shall we get started?>"

Willow and Ivy stood at their place behind Broka the Hutt Broka the Hutt , yet not close enough to be hidden from view due to his girth. They had their arms wrapped around eachother's waists, with the hoods of their silvery cloak resting on their shoulders. It was hard to tell how they felt in regards to this agreement. The expressions on their faces was a bit mixed.

And while Willow focused on the Force and followed the webs it weaved that connected everyone together, Ivy kept her focus on the Hutts and what they were agreeing to. The twins weren't fans of slavery, yet they knew that it was part of the economy there. It has always been so. Now that part of the economy was threatened. It could be something that could make or break the union.

Of course they hoped for the former.

Despite still not being 100% on board with the union with the Jedi, Gortta realized that he had gotten as many concessions out of the Jedi as he could possibly hope for and thus saw no reason to delay this process any longer. The simple fact remained that on a large scale, this will be an objectively good deal for the Hutts. With that in mind, Gortta nodded in agreement, listening to Broka speak.

"This will be a day written about for millennia to come. Today is the day that the Hutts reclaim their rightful place as major players in the galaxy. I must say, I am pleased with the progress we have made so far. I am ready to begin whenever everyone else is."

Little to no pleasure she felt being in that room, that despicable room that Popara was in that moment. She wanted to go back to her palace on the Smuggler’s Run, she had too many affairs to deal with instead of being trapped in that place alongside the Jedi and her peers of the Hutt Council. They probably had more than enough to do as well, she had no doubts about that, but instead she had to stay there playing politics for the sake of their business, and for as much as she would be tempted to scream a curse to see it being registered for all time by this Hutt Republic, Popara controlled her own long tongue.
“Let us get this on the move already.”, was all she had to say to her fellow lordas, almost spoken in a grumpy and tiring way. The enthusiasm of those creatures left her totally tired, both mentally and physically, but a part of her, she could not say which, she felt almost invigorated and envious for all that admirable youthful enthusiasm they had. The Jedi had a word for what she had heard about: feeling hopeful.

With the blessing of the Concord given, all that was left for the Hutt Republic that required the Concord's presence, was writing their constitution. Of course, she was there for that exact purpose. Somebody had to report back to the Council and the Concord, and that someone was among others, her.

Sakadi had taken place on one of the arrange seats for the diplomats. Her protocol droid, TC-41, stood right behind her chair in silence. They were here to witness the birth of the Hutt Republic after all, and not to further negotiate or deal with what issues the rangers had created.

With her elbows resting on the chair's armrests, her hands clasped and one leg crossed over the other, Sakadi would wait for the writing of the constitution to begin.

"<Then we are in accord then. The most important part is how leadership will take place, and how power is delegated. The Supreme Mogul will be elected among the Lordas across the republic in the Hutt Assembly to lead our republic as a political face for our species. The Supreme Mogul cannot enforce laws on other Lordas, yet Lordas can only hold power in their territories. It is the job of the Hutt Assembly to have a conference between the Supreme Mogul and the rest of the Lordas, so a vote could be made on alliances, trade agreements, war declarations, and any other foreign engagements where the Hutts either begin the engagements, or hold deciding power over them. If you have any further ideas, please speak. Otherwise we will go on to the next topic.>"

Broka then sat back in his chair. Fat folds going over it in a few places with the classic, near-stoic expressions Hutts notoriously had passively. He knew Popara hated the intricacies of politics, and wanted to get this done fast and effectively. If the decisions made here could appease Gortta and Popara, then the other Hutts would most likely approve of the new system as well.

It was odd in a way. One might think that due to the Hutt's nature, they would be drawn to a political structure that rewarded wealth, power and heredity. Essentially, it would be easy to assume that the Hutts would adopt a monarchy as their preferred form of government. Yet here they were, writing a constitution, talking about elections and legislatures. If the Hutts had not been seen as a legitimate player before, they certainly would be now. However, Gortta knew as well as most that a lot of these changes were superficial at best, designed to give the illusion of progress without any of the hard labor to achieve the real results. Regardless, he was fine with this. Overall it meant less work on his part and in his mind, that was a win to him.

"This sounds acceptable to me. I'm ready to proceed onto the next subject." Gortta didn't speak in Huttese much but this time he did. It wasn't a conscious decision, rather just the fact that the phrase uttered was so simple, it just flowed out in his species native tongue.

Popara stopped listening to what the rest of the room was saying. She allowed her majordomo to nod for her, as she started to reach for her glass and drink the wine, trying to see if she had any will to carry on her job as a lorda. Her mind kept thinking what the hell she would the other slugs about this deal the Hutts were making, some were gonna be very unhappy about losing the slave rights on Nar Shaddaa and moving all the spice trade towards other areas of the galaxy.

“Hmmmm?”, her deep booming voice asked as Nico leaned his head towards the other slugs. “Ah… I agree with this. Can we move this faster? We all know how a government should work, Nem’ro holds the office and we are his senators, done. Now where is the food? Where is the damn food?”, Popara asked loudly, grabbing the nearest servant and pulling him close to her before pushing him to the ground, laughing about the way he fell, followed by many other aliens present in the occasion. “Let us proceed with this and settle this matter by signing already, we all know Nem’ro and know where he lives, would you agree with this Gortta?”

She was hungry, starving for something to snack around and be free of this endless political problems that arose from this Alliance. There wasn’t much room in her mind to all of this, Popara was simple about her requests and usually left all the paperwork to her servants and allies, since they weren’t insane enough to double cross the Hutt.

Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
Broka sat back in his chair amused by Popara's actions. Despite that servant being one of his, he too could not help but laugh a bit. He then waved his fat stubby hand to signal them to start preparing a feast.

"<Fair enough. Scribe, document what was stated in regards to leadership structure. Make the note on how Lordas still rule their territories as they have always done, with succession being how they see fit. Also note that Lordas and the Supreme Mogul's Clan can not fight each other in gang wars any more. Instead, territories on unclaimed worlds will be split between the families that decided aid in the world's conquest, and any issues in already claimed territories will be resolved between private meetings between the rival clans and overseen by the Supreme Mogul. All rights for either Lordas or the Supreme Mogul that were planned shall also be documented as they were planned.>"

After he finished that last sentence, the servants that were sent to the kitchens began sending out items of food. The smaller appetizer dishes came in now while the larger meals were almost done being prepared. Each serving was on its own colossal dish that was placed on the table ledges on the chairs. The servants that were not brining in food for their master and his fellow Hutts were racing around refilling drinks that each of them had. Broka stopped himself from immediately reaching for the plate of food beside him to finish his address.

"<The issue of slavery was a major concern for this arrangement. Slave trade activities are outlawed on Nar-Shaddaa. This would force all Lordas to move their operations to their other territories off world. However, the Hutt Republic will not actively enforce this. If any Lorda is caught holding slaves, they are at the mercy of the Concord's authority and their laws. This rule shall exist for at least as long as we are under the Jedi's protection. Once we are fully independent, the Hutt Assembly will revisit this issue to adjust in areas deemed necessary. I assume you two will be fine with this arrangement, so I now order my scribe to add this to the document.>"

Broka then pointed his finger at the scribe seated in the center of the room. Soon after the order was given, Broka began tearing into the food at his chair's side. Within a matter of seconds all the food on it was gone. Then, like clockwork, the first round of main course food was brought in to be put on the respective tables to each Lorda's seat.

Perhaps she was here just on invitation, but her words, opinions and decisions were still fully backed by the Concord. She still served as a diplomat in this matter, and had people to represent. People she would not let down by accepting shady dealings, hasty words or easily forgotten promises. No, she expected clarity and transparency and while she was grateful that the Lordas were giving it, the details of their original accepted terms would not be overlooked, altered or forgotten on her watch. Something that, or so it seemed, the Hutt Queen tried to make happen.

She slightly raised her hands, signalling to her droid to translate for her. "If I may, Lordas of the Hutt Republic, Lady Sinvala of the Silver Concord would like to ask for clarification on the Slave-trade regulations." Her droid began. Its two glowing golden photoreceptors settled on Broka, who lead the writing of the constitution. She herself, however, glanced at the large female Hutt, who had clearly grown annoyed by the political talk. "One of the proposed terms, and a prerequisite to the Concord's promised aid, was that, to quote Queen Popara of the Anjiliac: 'we shall free all the slaves in current possession in our space.' The Concord understands that this a labor intensive task, and can supply the Hutt Republic with administrative support, transport ships and all the help you may need to register and move these new free citizens." The droid kept a short pause as it turned to translate her next series of sign language gestures. "But to avoid any miscommunications, the representatives of the Concord would like to see the proposed terms on the freeing of the slaves currently present in what will be the Concord-protected Hutt Republic recorded in some document other than my memory banks."

What they expected was obvious; no slaves would be smuggled out of Hutt territory with their promise to the Concord standing.

While herself could be confused with an statue, the golden shining eyes on her head were very much alive. Rolling from one side to the other as mouths opened and voices were heard, and what could have become a tedious conversation of politics, it turned to a true battle of words. Popara thought that silence was indeed the best weapon at her disposal, for the moods of the pood in front of her turned into a storm, one that she paid much attention to, as her voice would only be heard when she had thought this through. On one side stood her people and their ways, they involved spice trading, gun smuggling, information passing, slicing, drug trafficking. human trafficking, slave trading, hustling, scamming, murdering, torturing, abusing, and leeching, and on the other was the Silver Concord. Willing Jedi to protect the Hutt species in exchange for almost nothing, or so they said, but this Hutt knew from the beginning that terms would be pointed out.

And she prepared. In silence she groomed her thoughts on this matter, for the Hutts their trade was not considered a crime, but a way of living and if slavery was profitable, why not perform it? They never enslaved anyone themselves, they merely passed goods while the ones in their control were debited or paid in some way to them. Or at least it was so, and she would be one of the first to snatch the whip on the backs of her servants, but lately she felt something growing heavy on her shoulders, and it was not her weight, at first she thought it was the trouble caused by all of this, but now Popara was almost certain it was a hinch of empathy.

Ever since her call, her appeal to the galaxy, this had grown inside of her. Thousands of bounty hunters and mercenaries were lining the gutters and the bars, tens of ships coming daily, as the streets were roaring with the voices of those that came to her words. Not because they were paid, but because they believed in it. And now she looked at the galaxy with majesty, for she the respect and admiration made her fill herself in pomp and raise her head high in the sky. The she-hutt raised her bulbous head as her chins shivered and slammed her large fingers on the arm of her chair, storming a bumping sound to the room, so that attention would be given to her. With her fat red-painted lips opening booming her deep elderly voice.

“Enough!”, and afterwards she lowered her tone and talked calmly in standard, for she was one of the few of her species that spoke it openly, “This will take us nowhere. It does not change the fact that the Bryn are coming. What will this Concord do in regards to that? So two Jedi gazed some wookie hooka on the alley and decided to go rogue? Who cares? You ask for changes, but how easy is to change a way of living? We called for your help with the promising hope of our moon to remain as it always was: a free moon. A moon where your less liked activities run freely, but, I can speak for myself and say that I see your point, I do, for you will bring ships and armies to our aid when the monsters arrive, if they do and you asked for little in return. I believe we're capable of sealing a better deal in a suggestion that can perhaps solve this. On what I propose to face more suitable terms to all those present, such as our exclusive providing of information regarding the Sith Empire, the New Imperial Order, the Zweider and the Bryn monsters, for some connected to us were taken slaves by them.”

“And our stocks of weapons will be moved commercially to all the space occupied by the Silver Concord, the Hutts will find granted free access to your industries, markets and planets, the Smuggler’s Moon will remain free of external rule except that of us, and so will Nal Hutta and the planets controlled by this Republic. And as for our part, we shall free all the slaves in current possession in our space, forbid its sale on our grounds and outlaw it, while we also shall keep all the spice selling performed by any associates of us to be kept out of the planets controlled by the Concord, with the sole exception of our own space.”

“The Hutts can’t change what this place is. What the moon is the moon shall remain, and what we are we shall always be. Nobata, nobata! Our way of living must remain the sacred actions they are, but that does not mean we cannot be suited to adapt to yours. Our word will remain so, if my fellow peers agree as well.” This was a risky offer that she thought by herself, for outlawing slavery on their moons, they did not forbade it to be done within their space, and that would raise its prices as would also move much of the trade done in here to her own personal space in the Smuggler’s Run and the hideouts of Black Sun, turning both of them to a massive operation of slavery tha could choke a rancor. Everyone profited from this in the way she saw it, off course, if they were indeed engaged in this sort of thing. "If my Hutts lordas agree with me on this suggestion."

For a moment, she narrowed her gaze and focused on the Jedi representative. It was curious to her that such a scrawny girl could have such a high position, which should show that she had power and influence and Popara was not a Hutt who discredited the Force or its gifts wielded by the Jedi and Sith scattered throughout the galaxy. She reminded Popara of a girl she had had in her service for many years, Ashelia, the daughter of that horrible monarch of the Galaxy Core, born of the elzeri species. Was Sakadi's race related to their own? Her majordomo had said that it was something called Sephi, but she was unaware of its origin and history, she hadn't even had one in her service for all these long years.
The queen raised her small, fat arm in the direction of the clerk, gesturing that she would stop registering, as this was a conversation that should not be registered or even take place in front of the Council and its court. Clearing his throat in the most grotesque way imaginable to draw attention to himself, Popara spoke softly in yer booming voice.

"The terms of our former agreement will be recorded in our constitution. But it would be wise to remind your people that one tail rubs the other, and in the same way that we offer, we also want it. This involves the right to sell and move weapons and accessories, parts of machinery, materials and fluid through Concord lanes with the right to sell and resell these as we see fit, as we also want all sorts of gambling to be considered illegal in territory controlled by the Silver Jedi except those inside the borders of Nar Shaddaa in order to expand trade in our space, as suggested by you when you spoke about offering us other ways to maintain our... lifestyle.”
“And we, will keep banning slavery, selling narcotics in the Jedi space, child prostitution outside the Concord space under penalty death, in exchange for the right to expand our legal and neutral businesses to other planets and lanes, but all done, by respecting the laws written by your constitution. Do you agree, Sakadi?" The Queen waved her hand to the clerk, so he would start writing it down the part involving the slaves. Losses were already expected on this transaction but that was fine, they had other alternatives to further enrich themselves in this transaction as well.

Lorda of Nem'ro and Hutt Republic Supreme Mogul
Broka finished shoveling some last bits of food into his mouth, and took a sip of his wine. Then he stated, "<I agree completely with what Popara states. As slavery is banned in the regions of the Hutt Republic's borders, the business networks that are more legitimate shall be allowed to go into the rest of Concord space. Gambling will be limited to Nar-Shaddaa and Nal-Hutta in order to make up for the loss of the slave market's profits. If all are in accord with what Popara has proposed, then we shall continue.>"

Upon finishing that, he went back to near-ravenously feeding on the food beside him.

Her wish to see the previously discussed terms clearly expressed in the constitution were swiftly countered by a clarification of what the Hutt's expected in return. The Jedi Master and acting diplomat nodded in agreement after both Popara and Broka had spoken. TC-41 didn't need any further incentive, it knew the Sephi well enough to speak on her behalf, and she trusted the droid enough to let it.

"Lady Sinvala already agreed to the presented terms on behalf of the Concord. Therefore, the Concord accepts the propositions made by Queen Popara of the Anjilac as further clarification on what maintaining the lifestyle entails. To put it bluntly; the Concord is fine with it." While she herself wasn't easily provoked nor annoyed, TC-41 was. It wasn't difficult to notice that it took the familiarity with its owner as an insult toward her. Likewise, the droid knew that if something truly was offending to her, she would speak up in her own unique way. That was why it kept its frustration in check.

Sakadi, however, had other thoughts keeping her occupied. Did the Hutts expect her to disagree? It would be difficult to realize these terms; moving all gambling in the Concord to Nar-Shaddaa. But at the same time, the prospect of freeing the unenumerable amount of slaves in Concord-protected space was worth the extra effort. Although all of this was certainly something she had to note down and take back to the Silver Concord itself.

Deciding to keep her further input at a minimum, she was her only to observe or so she thought, Sakadi would instruct the white protocol droid to remain silent and watch the event unfold.

As a man who owned slaves himself, Gortta was undeniably concerned about the loss of the slave market in Hutt space but on the other hand it was not a huge issue for him personally. He could afford to offer gainful employment to all newly freed slaves in his domain that would want it. Perhaps getting into the gambling business would be a good way for him to compensate for the loss in revenue. Real estate and casinos were probably more lucrative anyway. Seeing no need to add anything further to the discussion of slaves, which he remained mostly silent for, Gortta turned to Broka and said: "We appear to be in agreement, so what's next"

Broka nodded after Gortta spoke his approval. He was assured with the fact that the Concord's authority had no issue with how such a controversial issue would be handled by the Hutt Republic. Nonetheless, he took a sip from his glass, stood up, and began to speak.

"<Another important aspect is how business will work between the Concord's directly controlled territories, as well as the unclaimed worlds of Hutt Space, and the Hutt Republic. I propose that if any businesses from the Concord will have to be sponsored by the Lorda who runs the region of either Nar-Shaddaa or Nal-Hutta that the business will set up its shop in. A portion of the earnings will go to said Lorda. This will make it so the Hutts get as much profit from businesses here and businesses in the rest of the Concrod's sphere of influence that have decided to expand to the streets or swamps of our home system. In regards to the rest of Hutt Space that is not claimed by any galactic power currently, I propose documenting that the Hutt Republic will be allowed to trade with whichever planet in remaining regions of Hutt Space as it pleases. Of course the goods that would be acquired from these regions will have to be within the regulations of the slave trade policy. With all other goods though, the Concord should have no ability to restrict trade with fellow Hutts and other worlds of our Hutt Space as part of our domestic autonomy, and the sovereignty of the Hutt Republic. What thoughts do you have on this?>"

Broka then went back to sipping the wine and devouring scraps on his plate while he waited for the others to respond. At the same time, the next round of food came in for the Hutts in the room, and servants came to refill the drinks of those present.

The immense fat and disgusting creature turned its jagged head to the Jedi sitting in the hall with them. If she really had any freedom for honesty she would have said how much she would love to jump out of her powerchair and bite that smug head with pointed ears out of that skinny little creature. There was a certain unpleasant past between Popara and the Jedi, they had been one of the reasons why she had lost many of her businesses in Balmorra and other Core planets, although she still maintained that small piece of unwanted land in Coruscant's underworld. His orange eyes narrowed when focused on Sakadi.
But for her there was no creature worse than a Sith. Those damned belligerent animals addicted to power and glory, always trying to punch their lightsabers into someone's belly. She always spit an absurd amount of phlegm on the floor when some Sith came to her court to beg for something.
"Ah ...", she growled disgustedly. Stretching his plump arm to the huge silver cup making the liquid cool inside her huge body, letting out a low burp shortly afterwards. The female decided to participate in the discussion with some appropriate argument. "I agree. I also think it should be said something about our right to manage our business as we see fit is allowed, but I must include that it must also be raised that our business within Concord will be managed in a manner appropriate to the Jedi decorum.
We must also include in our constitution our greatest repudiation of the Bryns and our supreme vote, coming from all the lords of the Hutt to keep abreast of eradicating this plague from the galaxy. And I also vote for us to maintain the free right of belief in our republic, all creeds are welcome, all thoughts are welcome, all have the right to bear arms in defense of the Hutts."
"Gortta, how would you feel about the law of the third?", In which the third son of every family was meant to be given to military service for a total period of ten years. Mostly done on planets on the Outer Rim and enforced on other places where the Anjiliac used to own in the elder days. Popara also turned towards Broka waiting for him to tell something on this matter, or simply anything.

Gortta listened intently as the other two Hutts spoke. He agreed with Broka's plans for how business should be conducted. It was a sound system and a fair one. Broka was a puzzle to Gortta in the sense that Broka seemed to be one of the most fair Hutts he had ever met. It was rare to come across a Hutt that wasn't hell-bent on swindling the people they do business with out of as many credits as possible.

The Hutt's eyes widened as he heard his name invoked by Popara, He turned to face her as he contemplated for a second what she said. "I worry that forcing compulsory military service could spark animosity and lead to unnecessary conflicts but on the flip side, I think the benefits could outweigh the risks. I say it's worth a try but if it proves to be more trouble than good, than we should scrap it."

Broka sat back. He looked at the other two in the room, and new that they were doing similar things to him. All three were still figuring each other out. They were still getting to know each other of course. Power was what brought them together in the first place. All he had to do was keep up this appearance of fairness to the Jedi. Once independence was reached, Broka would start to behave more like his colleagues for sure. Politics was a very careful game to play. This conscription proposal was a topic that Broka had to be careful with especially. In the times of his grandfather's rule over the Nem'ro clan, their operation was too small to successfully start such a policy. Then, when his father toke the reigns of the family, the Hutts were forced into obscurity, and lost too much territory to establish the policy.

"<I have heard of this law of the third before. With what I know, I agree with what Gortta says. We will have it legal for Lordas to employ within their territories during peacetime. However, since we would be entering war time very soon, there would be nothing entirely wrong with a Republic-wide conscription of this sort to defend the Hutt Republic during these troubled times. Yet, if this becomes too much risk for the possible reward, then the Republic-wide conscription will be repealed. That would then lead to Lordas to make the decision to remain employing it or to repeal it during wartime. However, given our circumstances, I think the civilian populace would understand, and not cause trouble, if they know it is to exterminate the Bryn'adul.>"

Boka then took a sip of the wine at his side, and waited for the others. After he finished taking the sip, he had a bit of a smirk with the thought of exterminating the Bryn as if they were common pests.

Her huge round orange eyes narrowed to consider the arguments put forward by her peers. They were both young and energetic, but they lacked cunning and common sense, they were right. Perhaps a hundred years ago this could not be the case, but the reality that they lived in now was very different. Her full painted lips curved in a satisfied smile and she allowed herself to let out a deep, calm, sonorous laugh.

"Ho-ho-ho ...", she then snuggled more in her chair. "You both have valid points and I give you reason in this. Please, Broka, continue."

Her left arm trailed to the left, closing her plump fingers around her wine glass filled with icy water, bringing it to her mouth and sipping its contents calmly. Her thought turned to the future, there was so much to be done and so much to be achieved in that galaxy, the Hutts had reached a point in their existence that allowed them to indulge in doubt. Sometimes she envied the Jedi for allowing themselves to play their talents to try to predict the future, other times she just wanted to smother them with her tail and stuff them in a pie.

Broka gave Popara a glance, and a nod. All the laws that needed to be established before the founding of the Hutt Republic were approved. That was at least in Broka's perspective. He did not know what next to cover other than electing the first Supreme Mogul, and proposing the construction of a proper structure for the Hutt Assembly to meet on Nar-Shaddaa.

"<I personally feel that all the laws and topics necessary to address before we found the Hutt Republic were covered, and now have approved laws documented concerning them. If there are any subjects you two would like to put to discussion, let your proposal be heard. If there are no other proposals you two have in mind, then we shall get to the election of the first Supreme Mogul of the Hutt Republic, and finalize the approval of the constitution of the Hutt Republic.>"

Broka then waved a hand for servants to come around and refill all the guests' refreshments, as well as to tell the kitchens to prepare another banquet for the Hutts in the room. The Jedi would be welcomed to dine the final rounds of food and drink too after the process of composing the Hutt Constitution was finished. Yet, if there were any concerns Gortta or Popara had to make proposals of, the floor was open for the two other Lordas in the room.
