Rationale: Sargas Sanctum Technologies began when Kära was seeking expansion options in the regions of Wild Space surrounding the Kessel Sector; initially her plans had been to take over planets such as Kessel, Teth, Lirra and Nadiem. While this plan was inevitably put on hold due to a conflict of interest within the Empire, Kära did not fail to see the bigger picture. Establishing connections upon Teth, alongside subtle yet effective manipulation as is her forte, she was able to slowly yet surely take over the shipyards and their productions. Initially she allowed business to run as it had up until her arrival, in order to establish a firm foundation to build upon, placing puppet-yes-men in control of production in her absence while pulling the strings from afar. Before long she had her sights set elsewhere, with darker schemes brewing. Nadiem, another planet she had begun to make connections upon, was ripe for the taking, the agricultural benefits it held making it a prime target for Kära; while not open about this, she intended to set up a front through which she could begin the buying and selling of flesh throughout the Galaxy, inducting at first a small scale slaving circle and using Nadiem as the base of operations. On the surface nothing seemed amiss, and in truth even those upon the planet did not realise it was happening; men and women were chosen as 'Labour hands' and sent away on contracts. In truth, the planet would become a breeding ground for slavery, the Agricultural production company blanketing under the shipyards on Teth to fully form Sargas Sanctum Technologies, both of which provided a perfectly air-tight cover up. Ship production on Teth began to change from a military front to that which focused on the encompassing of civilian and luxury vessels, packaging slaves within specific pre-planned sales.
Tier: Tier 3
Description: Sargas Sanctum Technologies focuses on the construction and sale of small-scale commercial starships based upon Teth, targeted at civilian buyers, with the commissioning of luxury yachts deemed it's speciality. Production rates have improved since Kära inadvertently took over control of the shipyards; however this is just a front for the agricultural production schemes taking place upon neighbouring Nadiem, through which a small scale slavers ring is being run. Labouring contracts make up the official front for these illegal activities, with the planet itself becoming a breeding ground for hard working slaves of varying species'. Often this transaction is carried out alongside the commission of a personalised luxury yacht, with the sale in 'flesh' being part of an underground package deal. For those requiring a different kind of slave, the package also offers a selection of Twi'leki female which may be hand selected to meet the buyer's need, yet it should be noted that they cannot adhere to the same amount of menial labour as those bred upon Nadiem.
While initial short-term plans have been met, the desire for improvement will always remain and as such long-term goals have been set up by the company at Kära's behest. Already outlying planets are being measured for their worth, where population, natural resources such as precious and basic minerals, and fertility of land are concerned. Ontop of this plans have been made to exploit the nearby Kessel Trade Route to further boost sales and recognition throughout the outlying regions. Further across the Galaxy, Kära seeks to extend her influence over Sector II of the Empire in order to refurbish industrial planets such as Metalorn into refinement facilities, mineral and ore-rich planets into mining facilities and trade heavy regions such as Lianna as further bases of sales operations; all the while the expansion of the underground slave ring will be of paramount priority, with a view on taking advantage of low-tech agricultural planets throughout both Sectors to boost her numbers, drafting in the assistance of slaver [member=Grundark] to administer and oversee slave production.
