"She didn't feel worthy of the weapon she held,
not like all the others she had earned in her collection.
Same went for the kill itself"[1]

K'kar'ukk loved her father.
He had been a proud Tusken warrior for many years. He was respected by his tribe for his prowess as much as his wit, which had helped them to prosper among the Motesta Oasis. Many thought he would one day become chief, in fact. His name was A'kar'ukk, Guardian of the Pass.
A'kar'ukk would often bring warriors to guard a small pass between Anchorhead and Mos Eisley, charging a simple toll levied against travelers there. He rarely took much, only whatever useful items these startled traders might fork over, which would later be given to the tribe on his return. Water. Macrobinoculars. survival tools. and never more than one item per person, unless they were just feeling generous.
He even gave his little daughter a little tea pot made of bronzium. It had always been her favorite.
But one day, A'kar'ukk met a Mandalorian. She attempted to communicate and bargain, albeit poorly, and offered him a plasmatic-lighter to better start fires with back home. His curiosity got the better of him however, and he was ambushed by an off-world mercenary.
K'kar'ukk and her mother would find his body days later, and those of his fallen brothers. They had all been cremated and berried in stone.
