STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) : As a memeber of Fondor's lowest caste, Stalemeister received only one name and received few of the opportunities or perks afforded to the society's more affluent families. As such Stalemeister lacks many options for social mobility and by the nature of his caste rank, seems condemned to perform as a servant for richer Fondorians. This has prevented him from learning piloting or starship engineering, despite the renowned shipyards floating in orbit. He also lacks most blaster/weapons training which leaves him at a disadvantage in a galaxy spiraling into chaos where martial powers are necessary to support ambitions. In short, Stalemeister is a civilian.
However, a resentment for his lot in life has coalesced into a burning desire to find purpose. Trapped on Fondor, he has yearned to find a way to empower himself, to reclaim his agency, and to have the strength to enact his will onto his environment Desperate and motivated, he has accepted that he will do whatever he can to escape the rigidity of Fondor's caste system and make something of himself.
APPEARANCE: Fondorians as a near-human species share their outward appearances with humans. However, Fondorians are incapable of growing body hair and as such Stalemeister is completely bald. He is solidly built for a civilian, tall with a frame that could support powerful muscles if necessary. However he is average in appearance and like the billions of other low caste bald Fondorians, he is almost indistinguishable to outsiders.
BIOGRAPHY: Born on Fondor to lower caste parents, Stalemeister's birthday gift was a single name. This was to a be a badge of shame that revealed his low birth and which followed him his entire life. Lower caste Fondorians lived in government housing, crammed together in efficient, if not spartan lodgings. Fondorian's government ensured that the lower castes were treated humanely, providing all basic/critical services, however there was no oppurtunity to rise above one's station. Even as a young boy, Stalemeister could tell that his people were merely being allowed to survive, not encouraged to thrive. This understanding bred resentment and this resentment boiled over into his life. While an inspired student, he was also a troublemaker and instigator, earning him rebukes and condemnation from authority figures that would prevent him from gaining apprenticeships in guilds which were the only ways to escape the lower caste.
In his teens, he was able to channel his frustrations into the highly dangerous sport of Grav-ball which pitted two teams of six players in a zero-g environment. He became a somewhat famous lower-caste player, known for his aggressive play style where he would launch himself off of walls and into his opponents with bone crushing force. He may even have been on track to become a pro, however his dreams and those of trillions of others were cut short by the Gulag plague. Not much should be said about the dying times where the lower castes in their close-quarters housing choked to death on the stink of the dead and dying. Stalemeister does not talk about those times, but it was in the chaos and horror that the surviving members of his grav-ball team enacted a desperate and violent plan. Fear had twisted them, seeing the lifeliess bodies of their friends and families had broken them, the lack of a cure enraged them, so in the dead of night the team murdered a team of Ithorian doctors and stole their ship. None of them being pilots, they were forced to utilize the auto-pilot to return them to orbit and the stars beyond.
Unwilling to be returned to the murdered Ithorian's friends, Stalemeister and his teammates let the ship drift in the space-lanes and attempted to concoct a plan. However their deliberations were cut short when they were hailed and forcibly boarded by a crew of pirates. The murderous and unscrupulous bunch took a liking to the young boys from Fondor who had killed doctors and stolen their ship full of medical supplies, which the pirates would take in exchange for showing the boys the ropes. In the year that stalemeister served with the pirates, he heard stories of the mandalorians and desired to find them, perhaps to embrace their ways and gain a sense of clarity and purpose for his life.
