- An overlay for the C-1 Armor system this armor utilizes Phrik-A plating with an Armorweave overlay of soft armor to keep this armor light as possible but also offer the maximum protection against as many threats on the battlefield. This covers all major body parts in the armor system, to include chest, head, forearms, knee pads, shins, with Armorweave soft armor covering the gaps between these areas.
- Synthetic Yorik Coral makes this overlay entirely force dead, protecting the user from force attacks from space wizards and even from being detected by hostile force user's spidey senses.
- Electrical mitigation system in the overlay allows for power surges in the musculature of the underlay to not only be contained, but allows for the wearer to overload the muscle fibers in cases of extreme danger, providing brief bouts of speed and strength. This is highly dangerous and shouldn't be done regularly.
- Combat Overlay: This system works on top of the C-1 (U) to make it combat ready and usable for standard troopers in all fields of warfare. This ensures that soldiers will have the maximum protection provided to them in a powered combat armor that can provide massive protection against most if not all threats. Except lightsabers..... well because it's a lightsaber.
- Push it to the max: This system also contains tech designed to push the C-1 (U) to extremes in combat, making able to shunt more power to desired components to increase the Myomer's power generation and response times. To put it simply, its like you're able to supercharge the myomer for short times.
- Force Dead: This armor offers a premium protection against force users because of its ability to utterly negate force attacks against it from space wizards. And the Synthetic Yorik coral in the Armorweave makes this armor give those without those kinds of abilities a fighting chance on the field against them.
- Don't overdo it: So while you can overcharge different myomer bundles with the overlay's electrical mitigation system, you'll find that by doing it repeatedly, or for long periods of time, you'll not only cause damage to the myomer bundles, but you might actually break them. And unless you want your insides scrambled, I'd suggest you heed that warning.
- Force Dead: Yeah, so remember how this armor utilizes a Synthetic Yorik Coral weave in the armorweave? Yeah, you're not gonna be able to use space wizard magic while using this, and if you're wearing it most force users will feel as though they've been cut off from the force. Violently. Remember to take the face shield off BEFORE you hurl inside the suit, because that's just gross.
- Requires other bits: This overlay cannot be used by itself. Period. You need the entirety of the C-1 armor system to make this piece function. And yeah, by itself, this is pretty karking heavy. So don't try to cheap out when getting this.
This combat overlay was designed as an upgrade to the original C-1 (U) Armor system. Where the original C-1 was used for civilians in search and rescue teams, this armor overlay takes the original design and makes it ready for war. For the basis of this armor you have an Armorweave soft armor underlay, with Ionite-A shielding laminated ontop of it with a Synthetic Yorik Coral insulation to keep the Ionite-A from affecting the electronics on board and underneath the armor. Then, on top of that you have Phrik-A armor plates that are placed strategically to provide the best protection possible against projectiles and blasters, with another layer of Armorweave and Synthetic Yorik Coral being overlaid on top of that to hold everything together. For added utility on the outside of the armor you have a rail system that attaches at major joints and other points in the armor which contains the Electrical mitigation system. This system of capacitors and discharge points allows for the wearer to discharge additional electrical energy into the Myomer systems of the undersuit, giving you the ability to essentially put them on overdrive for a short time. This allows for soldiers to perform superhuman feats of strength and speed for a short time in demanding situations.
