The Will of the Force had been issued with orders from the grand master to return to a secret location in Silver Jedi protected space, after the pirates that had attacked Mon Calamari and the shipyards, had been defeated. The majority of the Silver Jedi fleet had returned to Voss and back to duty.

She sat on the end of the bed, brushing her long black wet hair, there is nothing like a good shower are a fight, and there is nothing to compare to love making after a battle. It is strange, the last thing one should really do, but every part of your being wants it, it is natures way of reminding us of mortality and a want to perpetuate the blood line. Immortality through the blood. Coci had had a close call out there, and Cutters ship took some effort to destroy but the Oathkeeper with a clever man at the helm had succeeded.

Coci dressed in Silver Jedi Robes, and tightened them with a thick leather belt around her small waist and her lightsaber ever present.

The Mon Calamari Hypernautics shipyards sat prominent through the viewing port, a man by the name of Darell Irani had called for assistance and now it was time for Thurion and Coci to meet with them face to face. "Are you ready my love?", she folded the pleats down on the robes and her eyes lifted her smile evident in the black twinkle.

Many lives had been lost, friend and foe alike. These things always weighed heavily on his conscience - always had, always will. It had been a long shower in solitude to, in a sense, wash the guilt away. Yet when he laid eyes on his beloved getting dressed his torn heart was mended, its scars stitched together to perfection. He could barely hear what she said, lost in her beauty as he was.

"You are so beautiful," he spoke softly as he entered their bedroom from the adjacent bathroom. He'd gotten dressed while she was in the shower, now donning robes similar to Coci's to officially represent the Silver Order. He reached out for her hands and found them, so delicate and lithe compared to his. For her he managed a faint smile, despite not feeling very joyful. It was a faulty disguise that soon fell apart once she was in his arms. "I love you," he whispered, kissing her shoulder and side of her neck.

She laced her arms around his waist and gently pulled him close to her. Coci could feel the firmness of his body still rigid with tension and try as she might to remove it, only time would do that. Her hands moved up and down his back as she buried her face into his chest, and for a brief moment the two could take solace in each other's arms. This is the only place in which Coci can escape everything, a fleeting moment of quiet of mind until both had to return to the reality of the galaxy and duty as Jedi. Reluctantly she pulled back to look into his face to find his blue eyes, only there would she see the truth and he is hurting. For those that follow the Jedi Way, to serve and protect others feel the pang of battle, the deaths of many have to be forfeit in order to achieve their mandate. Even foe, the waste of life forever sits heavy on the souls of Jedi, written there until the day they join the force, and even those that protect will one day have to face judgement.

Coci's heart is in turmoil, facing much change that has been thrust upon her unexpectedly. In return she manages a weak smile, more so for herself in order to cope, she is resilient and strong but even those that are strong need someone for comfort and support, and he is her rock on which she can rely. Her hand raises up to caress his face, cupping his jaw and feeling the light beard which forever adorns his face, she smiles more, this time with genuine praise for the man she loves. "I love you completely". she whispers in response, before placing a gentle kiss on his lips.

Their moment of solace broken by the beeping of the communications panel, R2 had patched through a message informing them that Mister Irani had arrived and awaited them in the small room prepared for the talks. "It is time to greet our guest".

She always had that lovely scent about her wherever she went, or whatever she did. It was intoxicating, but not in a physical or erotic way. It was calming, serene to the senses. Taking her hands in his as Teetoo informed them about their guest's arrival, he gazed into her intriguing, dark eyes. "I suppose we should," he said, thumb caressing her wedding ring. He then raised her hands to his lips and kissed them, then leaned forward to kiss her forehead. He could now smile again, thanks to her. There was little about war to smile about, but she never failed to guide him away from the pain and loss. "Ladies first," he then said, gesturing towards the door.

It wasn't a large ship, so upon stepping outside they would find themselves in the main hub of the Oathkeeper, connecting every room to one larger area. At the centre of it stood a round table with a built-in holo-communicator, surrounding it a multitude of chairs. [member="Darell Irani"] would find himself entering from the far side, opposite the door leading to the bridge. Before he did, however, Thurion braved another kiss, this time on her cheek as they stood awaiting his arrival.

Short for public displays of affection.

It was such a curious and regulative act, some people would have frowned about it, made some loud or less loud waves and generally been uptight about it. But Darell Irani was not one of those people, in his experience?

The more public, the better.

But perhaps it wasn’t time for such musing in this meeting.

“Grandmaster Heavenshield, Master Heavenshield. It’s an honor.” Irani would greet, giving a short inclination of the head as a sign of respect. In the grand scheme of things the Tion Hegemony held a tense relationship with the Silver Jedi Order, the last meeting they had been in… they had discussed a great many of things, and found themselves slowly reaching to accords.

But none of the Tion members were real diplomats.

Sometimes Irani missed Rave, she had always had her head straight when it came to mutually beneficial results. Santhe was still a kid and Ardik was uptight to a frightening degree, neither of them were all that good when it came to discussions.

That might change today though.

The hiss of the door indicated the arrival of Mister Irani. A man of late thirties, who keeps himself in good condition the only sign of any note was the flicks of grey in his hair, Coci assumed the pressures of business would do such a thing. Corporations, seems the Silver Jedi have been negotiating with them regularly lately, either in talks such as this one or personal visits, a necessary 'evil' in the broader scheme of things. Tion Hegemony operate within Silver Jedi protected space and the eyes of the Silver Council have been upon them since the talks, they had not convinced Coci that they had the best interests of the peoples of the systems where they have established facilities.

Regarding Mon Calamari however, the Silver Jedi had had the opportunity to speak with the governing authorities and they had assured her that Mon Calamari Hypernautics have been a welcomed addition to the system and furthermore have helped to develop Mon Calamari Shipyards. The Mon Calamari have benefited from their presence, employment directly with the shipyards, transport and fuel contracts, all the way down to the local diners. The good ole trickle down effect.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Mister Irani, the honour is ours", she returned the bow of respect. "Please make yourself comfortable", she indicated for him to take a sit if he so wished. Coci walked to the side of the room to a long table by the wall and gathered the tray of prepared beverages, ice water, caf and ice tea to cover all tastes.

"What she said," he nodded sideways in Coci's direction, a smirk adorning his face. "Welcome aboard the Oathkeeper, Mr. Irani." Once he had taken a seat, Thurion would do the same only after Coci would join them. "Now then..." he began while pouring himself some of the ice water. "To what do we owe the pleasure? Do you wish to go over the battle of Dac?" He took a sip while waiting for his answer, then cast a glance over to his wife at his side.

“A mixture of things, I am afraid.” Irani would react to the last statement, before taking a seat himself and accepting the drink of water offered. “And thank you, both of you are most gracious.”

Already this meeting was starting out better than their first meeting on Lianna, and that was all that Darell really wanted. The cleansing of air, the return to a more neutral standpoint from a heated one so all of them could work for a better tomorrow.

Which might seem strange, but in the end Irani cared about profit and early on he had learned that the best way to guarantee a steady influx of profit was to make people happy. Give them a job they enjoyed doing, compensate them immensely for their efforts, because a satisfied worker would try even harder to satisfy its company - or so was the theory.

And Mon Calamari Hypernautics only showed that this theory held water.

“I feel like we left things quite… loaded at the end of our last meeting.” Darell would begin carefully, trying to find the good words, the words that would make them understand that he was here to offer a measure of peace and cooperation.

“I do not share the opinion of my associates, I think a good working relationship with the Silver Jedi Order, outside of hostility and forced conflict? Would be beneficial for both parties and more importantly to the people we serve and protect.”

[member="Darell Irani"] | [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]
She could not help but grin at Mister Irani's comment regarding the last meeting as she sat down at the small table. Coci rested her hands in front of her on the table splayed to gather her thoughts, she sat in silence for a moment before she spoke.

"The first meeting, as interesting as it was, demonstrated one thing. That Tion Hegemony are passionate about the wellfare of their people, . . and the company", her grin widened.

"However, I am sure you understand, the wellfare of companies and assets are not in our interest as Jedi, but the well being of the people of those planets especially within and under our protection. In this case, we have spoken to the governing body of Mon Calamari and they have informed us that you and your company have invested a lot of time and credits into them as well as establishing yourselves. They have informed us that they consider you and your company an asset to them and their way of life and have brought with you nothing but security in employment and bettering their life style. This is admirable, and more than acceptable to myself".

She shifted in her seat for more comfort. "Now the peoples of Mon Calamari has seen too much death and destruction in their lives, history protrays that to no end, and so I want to talk to you about setting up a strong security system around this planet. It lacks defenses on all sides and I propose that we, the Silver Jedi and your good selves work toward this. We could begin to establish orbital defense platforms as a first line of defense and warning system, to start".

Irani gave a short nod.

“I have always believed that it’s important to provide for your community, whether you are a little restaurant in random city or one of the biggest conglomerates in the Galaxy - I do not feel there should be a difference in that approach.”

Which is why his companies had always made sure that they took good care of their employees with good salaries and benefits, a happy worker was an efficient worker after all. And if they could work to improve the locations around them?

Then why not.

The only thing it did was exactly what had happened with Mon Calamari here. The world ensuring that the company’s presence here being a benefit, which only makes the corporation shine the better.

Good PR was good PR.

“And I agree, we should make sure that these worlds are well-protected. I had a few ideas in mind, before the Sith decided to launch their raid and forced all our hands here. The Ocelot, for instance.”

One of his company’s finest creations, few other orbital defense platforms boasted the amount of advanced weaponry and sensors that it did. In a lot of ways it was a sniper, it could detect threats early on and take them out before they became a detriment to the civilian lives.

[member="Darell Irani"] | [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]
"I am glad we are in agreeance Mister Irani. We might also like to consider a array of batteries on the planet as well, for the purposes of second line of defense should an aggressor manage to get passed the orbital platforms and early warning systems loocated in space". The spec on the Ocelot impressive to say the least.

"Since interest in Dac has come in a few forms, from business and businesses, to establishing a more secure planet, to the well being of it's peoples, I think that we have a three way position that would be able to come to terms of agreement and secure Dac for the future. Yourselves and Mon Calamari Shipyward and the ruling government of Dac, and the Silver Jedi".

"Our role would be to assist where we can, in helping to build the defenses along with establishing more progressive facilities 'on ground' if they are required, we the Silver Jedi will speak to the governent of Dac on this".

"Is there anything you would like to ask of us?"
