Star Wars Drugs?

A'ight y'all so I just went back over the rules where it said committing or promoting any type of illegal activity is prohibited. So one of my alts is a smuggler and as such is paid to take things to different ports. This includes weapons, booze, drugs etc. So I guess my question is can I write the transportation of such things? Rankweed, glitterstim, spice, weapons etc. I mean James Justice has been known to hold wild orgies where such things are available I just wanted to make sure a thread I had planned would be able to be done with such items aboard my ship or if it'd get me in trouble.

I mean I know that there have been multiple things like spice occurring in Star Wars and they seem to be used by crime bosses here on the site...But I wanted to make sure it was okay to use IC. I mean I obviously can't sell to minors and shouldn't be a corruptor of youth I jsut don't wanna get dinged and make quadruple sure it was acceptable to write into threads... Anyone know?

It generally means promoting illegal OOC activity. We aren't going to keep anyone from being the local Han Solo.

As [member="Yarva Adisu"] points out, it is mainly an OOC thing.

However, you must keep to the PG-13 rating, and the detailed description of drug use falls beyond that. It's best to keep things a bit abstracted. That's why the term spice and death sticks are used in canon.

Okay so could one of my crew be using rankweed? I believe it was actually used in the legends books. I mean obviously I can't portray shooting things up into a character or npc without going over the PG-13 rating. But I was curious about my character smoking rankweed. I mean could I simply say there was a cloud of blue smoke a la a cigarrete? Obviously I couldn't portray any getting high on the spice, or deathsticks, what have you. But I wanted to clarify that too before possibly getting dinged on a character using it without specifying effects and such. And keeping it as rankweed due to not promoting drugs cause those are bad kids. M'mmmkay?

Just keep it to the level you'd see in a PG-13 movie or TV show and we won't have a problem.
