Starfighter Pilot looking for a Faction

[member="Drea Kavos"]

<woo>The Rebel Alliance has the largest active starfighter corps out there, with four Rogues active and an attack about to occur against the Imperial Remnant. We might even start up a new squadron if someone else joins.</woo>

[member="Drea Kavos"] - This is very true! The Rebel Alliance is an astounding faction, but if working with Han Solo-types doesn't tickle your fancy, drop by the Galactic Republic to serve alongside our Naval crewmen, pilots, and our very own Jedi Aces!

What he ^ said. You don't have to be a Jedi - some are and some aren't - but there's never been a better time to join the oldest Faction going. The navy is undergoing a significant overhaul and if you want to work with some great pilots (I'm a newbie too, so not counting myself amongst them) and fight for a great cause - the Galactic Republic is the way to go.

Or, be awesome and the only Starfighter pilot in the One Sith.

Pays to be unique...just sayin.

The Crystalsong Commonwealth has the best private fighter squadron in the galaxy, bar none. It is even available for military contracting!
(The main model is still WIP but the you're more than welcome to use a "filler" starfighter in the mean time)

If a more formal Naval setting is your scene, there is [member="stardust"]'s Scarface Squadron in the Shadow Empire, which runs one of the most powerful fighters on the site, statistically speaking.

Lastly, there is Silver Squadron in the Silver Jedi Order. Not too much info on them as of yet, but the fighters look sexy.

Edit: Shhh... you're messing with my shameless plugging and selling-up!

^ That's debatable. Plenty of other militaries in the galaxy have state-of-the-art fighters. The Mandalorians have some of the hardest hitting and hardiest fighters out there.

I'll throw out the Protectorate just for some shameless plugging, but really it's a matter of what you're looking for in a faction.

Since I've been tagged over here lol The Mandos have a great deal of hardware and possibilities for starfighter pilots. [member="Anija Ordo"] and myself were in the skies over Teta during the Mando invasion there and did a great deal, even dogfighting a corvette.

We've got a lot of hardware that you might like from interceptors, starfighters, bombers, and even the famed Bes'uliik starfighter, the only starfighter I know that can shrug off "capital weapons" in canon. In face, Anija and I fly our own customized versions and plan on customizing them further.

Plus, there's Mandal Hypernautics that makes a great deal of starships and starfighters, though [member="Captain Larraq"] and [member="Anija Ordo"] can fill you in on those more than I can.

In short... loads of stuff you can use and loads of folks you can learn from in the Mandos. Plus, we're currently setting up war games to keep our attention occupied until we go to war with someone again.

tl;dr - Loads of neat ships you can fly, people to fly with/dogfight with, and we do a lot of fighting in general/loads of activity.

After thinking on it, I'm going to stick with the One Sith. I'm sure the Mandalorians have a great setup, though that 'sweetheart' from Garon was just a bit too creepy.
