"That's what you get for damaging my armor, schutta." - Starlin Rand, "It Will Burn"
After fighting the Bryn'adûl on Nar Kreeta, Starlin's ancient Fenelar Armor was left badly damaged, particularly around the legs. Starlin used money he obtained from the sale of a corusca gem he looted on Taris to have the armor professionally repaired and modified in various ways.
Specifically, he wanted to make sure he was never in a position like what he went through on Nar Kreeta again, or at least decrease the likelihood of him being shot with shards of molten plasma containing a powerful corrosive inside them. This armor provides significant protection from such horrible weaponry, although most of its defense points are still stacked toward energy and lightsabers.
In addition, the suit boasts various customization options which Starlin has taken full advantage of, including a biorestorative underlay, grappling spike launcher, anti-disruption system, gel packets, a light-shield, and Omnilink.
