There were some worlds far out of the way in the galaxy that many didn't go to. THat most people would never visit because of dangers real or perceived. That was why Sasori went to the worlds, to find out the truth, to discover anything of interest and on worlds like this with some of the ancient academies that had been used by the jedi but there was no sign they had remained on the world. After facing some fo the conflicts of the Open-Closed groups it was nice to have a sense of peace. They were working on it and working on the different equipment. Meeting with what there was of the local population to help them. Clothing, food, construction materials... whatever they needed.

The jedi master was working there on the one machine. Fitting and working to make a size adjustment for one of the locals who had brought them information about the destroyed and ruined temple. She was working with the skylar to make them clothing which was its purpose... protective qualities aside it was made to last. Where she was looking in the galaxy for new and exotic materials was impressive and tracking the jedi master down might be seen as difficult but.... She trailed off in her thoughts while moving through the planets identified by project rebound. The massive colonization and exploration vessel that had been designed.

Joury approached Master Ike slowly, with a soft, paced, respectful step. She had no desire to startle her, and with so much going on all around them, she did not wish to be under foot.

"Master Ike? It's me, Joury Syhn. You sent for me?"

She timidly waited for a response, hoping she hadn't done anything to displease Master Ike. Master Ike was one of the Order's most senior officers and her extensive corporate empire was one of the Order's chief supporters and suppliers. Joury didn't wish to find herself on the Jedi's bad side, even for a moment. She nervously waited, eager to impress the woman if she could.

A voice... Matsu looked up from what work she had and turned to see the girl. "Welcome." She said it and remained there for a moment but she motioned the girl closer. The seeker prototype set up in the distance as the jedi master remained there. "I did." She thought about it and looked at the padawan herself with a nod of her head. "Oh yes." The smile was there when she turned about fully. "We have just been working on some fo the excavations, different jedi temples that we can work on and restore." She said it with a smile though while walking and they had reconstruction droids among some fo the jedi before she brought up some displays.

"We used the rebound project to get jedi explorers and they found this world as well as several others that have been touched by the jedi and forgotten." One fo them was here and she looked at some of the equipment. "That is why I asked you here. I heard you had some ideas for new materials and am always in the mood to listen or see if something can be made." She kept her smile and made a welcoming hand gesture, she was one of the smalelr jedi masters but she compared herself to may with her knowledge of the force which thankfully was larger then most.. including materials they could use.

"Y-Yes I do have some ideas actually."

Joury went to the nearby stool and calmly took the invited seat. "I believe that your Skylar can be improved upon. As of now, it is a remarkable product, and well suited for many purposes. But I propose manufacturing a second type. Right now, you use reinforced threaded duraplast and shell spider silk to make that fabric, do you not? I propose that you consider using reinforced stygian-triprismatic polymer instead of standard duraplast. It is just as strong, perhaps even a bit stronger, and carries stealth-enhancing properties also. For the silk, use a triple-material weave, combining elastex with the shell spider silk you already use, and then including shadowsilk. The combination will be stretchier, able to keep its form longer, and more durable than what you are using now, and like the duraplast, it will be slightly stronger and will have light and sound absorption qualities to enhance stealth. Like the old shadowsuits from during the Galactic Civil War. Just some ingredients change that will produce a tougher, more durable, stealthier version of what you have already got! And," Joury was getting excited, pleased that Master Ike was open to her ideas, but she breathed deeply and reclaimed her composure. After all, Master Ike was a Jedi Master, and Joury still only a Padawan. "And, Master, if you use the polymer-based graphene aerosol coating that my sister's company, Segroth, has developed - applying it to the finished material - you will strengthen the new stealth skylar even more! My sister, Visanj, she is the Baroness of Dagata and owns Segroth Materials. She is a big fan of your company, Master, and asked me to speak to you. She has suggested a contract, enabling you to use Segroth's PGA in your future products. It really is a wonderful product, and can be applied to metals, computer systems, plastics, and textiles, Master. Try it with this new idea of mine. If you like it, we can sign the contract. Imagine what manner of wonderful things you could make for the Jedi! Beginning with a much stealthier, stronger version of you Skylar!"

Joury sat back. Pitch made, now to see if Master Ike liked what she'd heard.

She stood there looking at her and listened. Full attention on everything and keeping the eye contact before the girl finished. Quite a mouthful and she seemed to really have thought this upgrade out... which wasn't such a bad idea... granted skylar was also used to make sweat and odor controlling undergarments for the jedi so stealthy versions of that was internally at least amusing to her... She wanted to think of some clever joke and quip... but she didn't with a look on her face seeing the padawan. "These ideas for upgrades and different materials. I am liking it, I was thinkig about an upgrade using karlini silk i the future but this also adds some new ideas to enhance the protective qualities of it."

She did also think about the offer for a contract... that was something she was always interested in when it came down to things... working with people. The last few just wanted to sell their companies so hadn't been as interesting. "A contract would be fine, I enjoy working with new people and there is all number of projects we continue to do. Advancing materials is just one of them, ships for the jedi, equipment and of course restoring the jedi temples even the ones from this far out. It is why we worked hard to make the rebound project."

"For the Skylar, use the shell spider silk and shadowsilk weave, it's stronger and tougher. But the Karlini on the other hand, now that is something another of our family's firms might be interested in working with. The House of Duralis is Dagata's finest fashion house, and we are minority owners. My sister handles that, I...I am Jedi. But there needs to be something beyond the traditional robes of the Jedi. We live in a very different world than out Jedi forebears knew, and that requires adaptation. New suits and gowns for formal roles by ambassadors and emissaries of the Order, being one." Joury paused to make a small smile, "We could also use some better training clothes: Swimming togs, workout clothing for conditioning and combat training, even casual clothing for times and places where the robes are not suited. Master, the Jedi before us remained aloof, always setting themselves apart from the galaxy and the people they sought to protect and serve. This is why the galaxy believed the Sith lies and listened to Palpatine. This is why they went along with the Jedi being something sinister. My thoughts are not popular, but the Jedi hold the blame for the survival of the Sith, entirely. We let that evil into the galaxy, we let it fester, let it live, and gave it strength. We still do. We cannot be something 'other' to the galaxy, we have to be the best 'of' it, to inspire and encourage. To do that, we need to relate and be relatable."

An interesting view, she looked at her but she didn't comment again. Hearing the different views of the jedi was important as it informed about who and what they were... how you could begin to understand them. He views on the jedi needing to adpat and change for the new galaxy to be a part of it was interesting but the same as many spoke. Wanting to be a jedi and have the lives of normal beings, have the same wants, desires, the same benefits and problems. It made jedi seem more relatable, more human but it also made them more easy to divide. She had seen it plenty from both sides, the orthodox and the mainstreaming ones who lived lives.

"Perhaps but it also as a method has divided the jedi more, given each their differig opinions, each becoming a nation unto themselves that some might join but without a stronger leadership to unite them to a cause." Ones like Korr, Kiskla, Joshua, Darron, Je'gan, Ben, Shmi, Aika... many more she had met... many more she had remained a jedi past in some cases. Other seemed to drift off and come back only when it suited them... but her thoughts were drifting now and the jedi master remained there. "But making outfits is whatwe have done, each class, each rank, each division of the jedi with robes specific to their needs."
