Hypervelocity Gun: 10 capital guns
---Restricted to Light Star Destroyer and larger.

Fast Mount: Single Barrel and Heavy-types only
---Allows a ship to track faster moving targets, up to Class 4.

This list covers the general and widely available weapons. This is not to say that ships can’t have weapons not mentioned above, but their value is up to the judging Starship Factory Judge or Roleplay Judge.
 
Considering the era of the kandosii ship it's likely that the designation was a precursor to the modern assault concussion missile. Most likely it was author error or wanting to make it sound more grandiose.
Each dreadnaught also had 12 super-heavy concussion missile launchers that could bombard capital ships,[2] or hold nuclear missiles to bombard planets, as seen at the Battle of Serroco.

This is very close to the practical definition we give for the assault missiles, so yeah, same deal.
