Strengths:

  • Droid Powered: This acts as a Advantage in two areas. The first of which is if they are commanded too the Droid fighters will turn into Suicidal bombs, utilizing the bomb they carry without hesitation. The Second of this allows for its VI Brain to utilize a number of movements and quick reaction than a human is capable of, allowing for them to act as the perfect Swarm fighters and interceptors.
  • Bombs: Able to become a flying bomb at any time, supposing that the buyer chooses to have the bombs installed. Infact these droids are more akin to flying bombs than they are interceptors, their cores utilizing the power they hold to swarm and incite more terror than damage.
  • Size: They are extremely small fighters, this is a bonus on two fronts. The first is that they are going to be much harder to hit, even for experienced pilots, but not impossible... imagine trying to shoot at a car sized object that can twist and turn on a dime. The other benefit is that they do not require a ton of space, allowing for the fighters to be able to bought and stored in bulk.
  • Hive Mind: Each Squadron has its own hive mind, either by using their own personally constructed Carrier, which is purely suited for such. Or installing this hive mind onto what ever ship is acting as the home base for these fighters.

Weaknesses:
  • Droid Brain: Yes, while droid brains can be impressive they are also highly vulnerable to two things, EMPs and worse Creativity. These fighters are only as good as the one that is controlling them through the Hive Mind VI and this makes the fighters only as creative as their programming where a real person can make up something on the go and could very well disorient and confuse the droids into falling for a trap.
  • Swarm: While they have numbers they swarm with these numbers which is a massive danger to those they target. But also to themselves, due to their very nature area of effect weaponry like pulse grenades and corner nets can cause the droids havoc and ultimately defeat all of them.

Description:

Development Thread:

Intent: To provide military forces with a swarm droid fighter that can cause significant damage at a wide price depending on what it is that is done in response to their needs. This product is also meant to allow for a quick end to conflicts that involve such as pirates who are ill equipped against such a weapon and un trained. Lastly the product is meant as a way for governments throughout the galaxy to save lives of their soldiers by allowing autonomous machines to face the price instead.

Who Can Use This: Anyone who buys them ICly
