The SJO have made their way back to H'ratth with the intent to rebuild what was lost during the battle of H'ratth. More importantly, the Kintan refugees have accompanied the SJO to H’ratth in order to make a new home for themselves.

Objective 1: Help bring in supplies and rebuild areas of H’ratth. With the Kintan refugees coming to make a home on H’ratth, it may be a good idea to plant some vegetation as a source of food they’ll be able to get on their own. Jedi healers and doctors have also volunteered to come to H’ratth and set up a hospital on the planet. Take some time to set everything up and help those who may need medical assistance. This is also a good chance for jedi masters to teach padawans how to use the force for healing purposes.

Objective 2: There have been reports of akk dog packs roaming the forest, which brings up the concern of the dangers they could cause to the refugees. The akk dogs are mainly around the crag, which is preventing those who wish to meditate on the overlook of the forest from doing so safely. Prevent the akk dogs from moving in closer to the main area of refugees and SJO members working on rebuilding.

H’ratth is a planet that contains terrain such as plains and lush forests, to deserts with different rock formations. It’s a beautiful and mostly peaceful planet, with a history of Jedi making the planet their home. It’s a great place to come for relaxation.

The temple grounds of H'ratth have been through much over a long span of time. Since ancient times, H’ratth has always been a place where the Jedi have dedicated themselves to learning the healing arts. The temple had been through much even before the battle of H'ratth that occurred between the Silver Jedi and the mandalorians. Even with the many disasters that had struck the temple, it was still a place where knowledge could be learned, especially on the healing properties that the force can have when used properly. Unfortunately, the population of the planet isn't what it once was, many of its residents leaving to someplace else.

Reggie had never been to H'ratth before, but he knew of the history the planet had. It used to be a place where the jedi could dedicate themselves to the art of healing, with many generations of jedi following that tradition. However, H'ratth had also seen its fair share of conflict, the battle of H'ratth being the most recent. Reggie regretted not being able to come before but he was here now when it mattered. It was time to rebuild.

Since there was a lot to do, Reggie didn't waste his time and quickly got to work. He grabbed a box of supplies that were designated for the hospital that was being set up and made his way to the area. If need be, he would stay around and help those who may need medical assistance. The padawan had studied the healing properties of the force before coming to H'ratth after all, and he picked up a few things on providing medical help during different situations in his early days as a padawan. He couldn't replace a doctor, nor a jedi who mastered the forces healing capabilities, but the padawan could prove to be very useful still.

OBJECTIVE 2

A piercing howl cut through the air. Acaadi's imagination latched onto that sound and conjured images of ferocious scarlet beasts with yellow eyes and fangs like daggers.

His imagination couldn't stray far from the horror of Akk dogs. There was a rumour that a sith had unleashed a pack of the beasts, intending to keep jedi from using the crag to meditate. A small insult on the scale of chaos created by the dark cult.

"Anyone ever see one of these things before?" Acaadi asked. The small group had gathered at the edges of the forest, beside a lake below the crag. They would make their way up with the intention of driving away the Akk dogs on the way. Acaadi had a heavy blaster pistol with him this time and a rucksack full of water and stun grenades. These things were supposed to be tough and he would rather deal with them from a distance.

Red stood in the group, examining the crag. He had been sent with the group to Akk dogs, which could pose a threat to the new village. He had studied these back in the labs, and had fought them before. Vile creatures, they were. Hard to kill, annoyingly persistent, and looked absolutely terrifying. He had to fight and learn ow to survive against them and kill them. His experimental supersoldier upbringing would give them an advantage. Red had his usual armor on, and he held his helmet under his arm, his red hair standing out from the backdrop of the nature around them. He was packing more weaponry than usual, as needed for Akk dogs. He had dual pistols, a blaster rifle, poison gas canisters, multiple thermal detonators, grenades, and smoke. He was also packing a grenade launcher, sniper rifle, and a mobile flamethrower. He also had multiple knives stashed in multiple hidden sheaths on his armor. Akk dogs weren't easy to bring down, so bringing extra weaponry was needed.

One of the other members spoke. Red turned his gaze towards him. "Yeah, I have," Red told him. "Nasty things, those things are. They are hard to kill, have a bite that can crush every bone in your body at once, and are the size of a landspeeder. Also, they are completely armored, and they can be quite fast." He told him. Red noticed the light weaponry he was packing. "Not sure how much good that blaster pistol will do against them. Being armored and all, they're even resistant to lightsabers." Red told him.

"My son," Had said the voice of a man long dead. A man Beltran had never known, who he could never imagine. A father. A mentor. Someone who loved him. "You are more than the horrors you have endured. You are better than what you've been taught. You can be better."

Beltran Rarr walked quietly through the forest of Hrrath, not far from the Crag. He was alone, wearing his own armor which bore no insignia. He wasn't here as a Lieutenant in the Antarian Rangers or as a veteran of a dozen battles. He was here as a man adrift, searching the sea of fate for some sense of meaning. He moved through the trees and thick brush of the forest, allowing-perhaps for the first time-the sounds of nature to envelope him.

Quiet had always been terrifying to Beltran. That was when the voices came, when the anger and rage and hurt of a life lived in violence spoke to him. They told him to do things, to hurt people. So he had always strove to stay busy, always working. Always training. When it came time to hurt people, he made sure they were the right people. Enemies, not innocents. It had been that way since he'd been a child.

But, perhaps, it did not have to be that way forever.

On Lorrd, with his friend Valkren Calderon at his back, he'd faced the darkness of his past and it had brought him to the very edge of death. In that space between the mortal coil and whatever comes after, he'd felt something he'd never known. Peace.

It had been fleeting: just a moment, a flash, an eyeblink. But he had felt it. And he had seen his father, and spoken to him and it had changed him. He had returned to life, fought and defeated the man who'd all but killed him. And when his enemy had laid, broken, in front of him, Beltran had chosen mercy. Now he needed to decide what that meant, who that made him.

So he had come to Hratth alone. He had come to build rather than destroy, to help give a new home to those refugees who'd survived Kintan. It had been hard work, but not so wearing as the endless war that had been his life. At the end of each day, the Lorrdian could see what he'd accomplished rather than what he'd destroyed.

But the life of a soldier did not end just because Beltran wanted it to. Reports of a pack of Akk dogs attacking settlers began to surface, and Beltran knew that he couldn't ignore them. Whatever he might be now, compared to what he'd been before, he was responsible for keeping people safe.

Stepping into the clearing, Beltran walked toward the spot where Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red and Jedi Acaadi Acaadi stood, talking. "Gentles," He said be way of greeting. His armor bore no insignia, but he'd decided not to put his helmet on today. So those who knew him would have no trouble recognizing him, even if he didn't exactly recognize himself. "What have we got?"

Objective 1: Refugees
Allies: Reggie Faayare Reggie Faayare

"With these new molecular showers and toilets, as well as autochefs, this new colony on H'ratth will have food for the lead time prior to the first harvest"

Even with hydroponic farming or cloning, these weren't instant by any stretch. Sure, there were things that needed to be set up, such as the power grid, as well as the other utilities, but that was why the Silver Engineering Corps was even there to begin with. Some refugees from Kintan. Nikto or not, were already resettled on Kwenn, Orleon and Klatooine. However, even with the Sith not being as much of a threat as they used to be, due to infighting, the Bryn'adul were still a formidable threat. In addition, whatever children were recovered from Velmor were also included into the foster families arrangement as for H'ratth. Speaking of which, a Fargodeep was deployed specifically to dig up an underground cavity in which to install a power generator sufficiently large to power a town made up of refugees. Of course, the cargo holds of the ship were still full of other prefabricated components used to build said town, including but not limited to, the very basics, such as a medical facility, a school for those orphaned kids from Velmor that needed it, and so on, so forth.

The Herglic had two pieces of machinery over his shoulders, grunting as he lowered them. Yes, he could've just used the Force, but why waste it on such a light thing. He looked around at the temple, letting out a quiet, content sigh. He eyed both Reggie and Jessica, a Padawan and fellow Master that were working there as well.

"A unique world. Such interesting history. A home of healers and battle. Now... a home for those who had none." He looked at the others, lowering the equipment on his shoulders. "Hopefully they will find this world suitable."

Objective 1

Kyra stepped off a ship, the first wave of Kintan refugees peering out with hopeful eyes behind her. It had been weeks since they had last seen the sun, living on a spaceship took it away from you like that. The temple they had arrived at was impressive, stretching high towards the sky in the center of a luscious forest. It was a great first home for the people behind her.

At least until they were capable of rising their town up around it.

Despite the weeks that had passed, those that came out of the ship still displayed signs of the battle they had gotten caught up in. Lost limbs, viscous gashes, broken bones-- they all needed tending to.

Kyra whistled out for aid for the jedi lingering nearby. Some were at the ready, willing to offer healing aid. For that, Kyra knew nothing about it. But a familiar blonde head in the distance boded hope.

This place reminded her of Yavin IV and when the Jedi Academy Network had still been around. It was obviously still around, she wouldn’t have much of a job without it, but the importance it had once held in getting the Jedi back together had certainly faded a bit. The Jedi were far more willing to cooperate lately. Sure, Kintan might have been a subject for debate amongst those who were more scholarly — or martially — inclined, but for those who prefered a more practical form of evangelizing, people like Kana, the entire conflict was just a whole lot more of ‘same old.’

Men and women, children and grown-ups of all sizes and colors with injuries that were spread from scrapes to involuntary amputations had begun to fill up the field and Kana had wasted very little time getting straight to it, handing out orders to underlings and delegating the workflow according to the needs of the many.

“That crate goes— yeah, yep, those people over there.” Kana called out and waved at a nearby transporter. Her attention set on a healer that deep-dove into the force. With her hand placed upon his shoulder she brought him back to the real world again. “Conserve energy. Focus on stabilizing as many as possible before you skip to healing them all.”

And from afar she could see a familiar face. Well, a few familiar faces actually, but one that was extra familiar.

“Kyra!” She called out and waved the girl over. “Bring Damien over here, I have need of you both.”

Hopefully they wouldn’t mind manual labour. Kids loved that, right? Built character.

Objective: Support the Silver Jedi presence on H'ratth.

"Master Arenais, you'll be pleased to know we've arrived".

Caedyn opened his eyes hazily. Not from some peaceful trance of meditation, but the disturbed slumber from within his crew quarters as the intercom blared overhead. It was the Captains voice, likely a personal message solely for Caedyn's benefit informing him that they'd arrived at H'ratth where the Order of the Silver Jedi were running a couple operations in order to bring support to the world.

Grumbling to himself with mutterings of unintelligible nature, Caedyn reluctantly got up from his bunk and moved to change, to freshen himself up for the days work ahead of him. Between his recent engagements with the young Kyra Perl, and meetings with a senior member of the Assembly, things were once again changing for the Jedi Knight, to which he found himself in familiar territory. Both in terms of the Silver Jedi, but also H'ratth for it's former affiliation with the old Commenor Systems Alliance, a relic of his parents lives long since behind them now.

Er6tw3E.png

An hour later and a rather long drawn out briefing with those upon the bridge, namely the Captain and her Commander, Caedyn was once again on the move, now within the primary hangar and moving towards the Transport for which would take him down to the surface of H'ratth. It was one of several vessels that were preparing for landfall.

Three other transports were being loaded with supplies and equipment all with the purpose of bolstering the Silver Jedi's ability to enrich the lives of the local populace, as well as help sustain their own presence down there for the short term. There were no soldiers aboard this vessel, though a security contingent was present, the entire ship was under the organization that Caedyn had helped to found, called Lifeline Connect Ltd. A Company for this very sort of endeavor.

It was heart-warming to see that their faculties would be of aid in this venture.

Once everything was loaded and the ground personnel were aboard and ready, Hangar control gave the go ahead to begin their departure procedures. The sounds of the smaller craft's engines firing up, filled the vast room and one by one, they each began their journey for the surface.

Caedyn's particular role in this, to split from the larger group of them and to assist in another matter concerning the wildlife for which were apparently getting out of hand. This of course being an understatement, given that they'd called for the aid of the Jedi to deal with these Akk Dog Pack's roaming the nearby wilderness.

OBJECTIVE 2

Acaadi figured that he was going to get far more use out of the Force itself in this endeavour than his lightsaber or blaster. It was just another event, in a long string of events, where he felt he was walking into dangers he wasbwholly unprepared for.

He slowed as he saw a Ranger emerge from the trees. Acaadi rose a hang in greeting.

"We've got Akk dogs around the crag up there," he said, pointing towards it. "They've been coming out of the forest and very close to the refugee camps."

Objective 1

There was a feeling of worth and excitement as he helped with refugee duties. There was also the sure terror of life. Every single wound he saw, every single severed arm or child who breathed a little heavily with his body wracked with sickness or injuries from fighting within the galaxy also meant something else… it meant Damian failed. It was a simple reminder of his failure to act.

An easy well practiced smile crossed his face. He may not have been a good Jedi but he was a good liar, and it was important to put on a brave front to reassure people. Also it was important for him to compartmentalize his feelings. A deep breath and a little concentration saw him stuffing his feelings aside and putting them to the back of his mind. He couldn’t let them leak now with Kyra next to him. Although normally open and honest with the girl there was times such as this when he didn’t want to project on her.

Of course with Kana around it was a little different. She was, or had been, his safety net in the past. Hearing her ask for him he materialized next to her. She had taught him healing of course, and he was… okay … at it. Mostly he could detox himself. Damian felt the weight of the flask in his pocket.

Edging towards Kana and Kyra he looked around. His mind was looking for a teaching moment something he could do to contribute to Kyra’s growth as a person, but he felt now wasn’t the time. There was real work to be done. “Kana,” he nodded before turning over to Kyra, “You need some help?” He was already pulling his sleeves up and getting ready to do some work.

"Uncomfortably humid, is it?" said Ariela, stepping forward to stand next to him.

Gir simply stood still, covered by the shadow of their landed light freighter. Behind him, a menagerie of light freighters and bulk transports were abuzz with people and droids bringing out a variety of supplies for the new hospital. Many were Jedi and aid workers, but the blonde man could make out employees from Lucerne Biological Systems bringing in donated crates of generic mainstay medicines and some medical staff he had met from the Renanscence Medical Center. Providing healthcare could be exceptionally simple or impressively intricate depending on the level of care being provided. Likewise, adding the use of a supernatural power like the Force could muddle up the waters even more, or provide the only possible type of treatment with a minimum of support. The admiral was no healer, but he knew how to organize and help build. He turned his sapphire blue eyes and met the droid's almost lifelike gaze.

"Honestly, it reminds me a bit of Hast..."

She wistfully smiled, "Home is on your mind again?"

He slowly nodded his head, "The humidity to it feels so close, especially after being shipboard for a couple of weeks. But there's something different about the smell."

"No sea breeze?"

"Something like that," said the man, taking a brief step forward, "but I suppose we really ought to be helping out..."

The man caught the eye of a wispy old man wearing a dusty white lab coat. His mind searched for the man's name. Dr. Mudekon? That sounded right. But what is a xenobiologist doing here? Wouldn't his work with the Gargantelle be more important than this? The blonde man found himself walking towards the older man, with Ariela silently gliding behind him. As he neared the older gentleman, he thrust out his hand.

"Doctor Mudekon? Is that you? How have you been?"

"This is Caedyn Arenais, I'm currently en-route to your location" Caedyn's voice would be heard across the comm-frequencies of Subject 73 Red Subject 73 Red , Beltran Rarr Beltran Rarr & Acaadi Acaadi as he had been informed they were the current personnel on site for the handling of these Akk Dog Packs roaming the vicinity. His transport had come in to drop him off on the ground some distance away in order not to disturb their current progress; and from there he would approach on foot as quietly and discretely as possible, ensuring that they knew of his supporting role should he be needed.

"Sorry I'm late. I'm on foot. No sign of targets, please advise" he added, keeping his words short and requesting for a sit-rep, a means of knowing the situation and how he can best be of use to them. Aside from his Lightsaber, Caedyn also carried his Side-Arm equipped with non-lethal tranquilizing darts in case he was forced to engage the Akk Dogs and pacify them in a more civilized manner. While the animals were reportedly feral, they were abiding by their nature as part of the wildlife eco-system, it didn't seem right that they should be put down permanently.

Kyra approached Kana, her form pressed tight into Damian's side. She looked steady enough on her feet, albeit a bit pale. Shocker there. While the refugees had had the chance to receive aid on Peace, some things -- like amputations-- could be required at the turn of a dime. The group unloading from the ship was sent to this healing temple for a reason. They weren't doing so hot. Surely, everyone here would have their hands full with the infected and weak.

Damian would be left almost tripping over himself with how tightly the padawan seemed to dig into him. Her hand sought his out, fingers clinging tightly to the skin to skin contact. She was grounding herself on him, not that either might consciously know that. It was easier to change her focus than turn her empathy off.

"I can't heal!" She blurted quickly, wanting none of what she knew the woman could do. She had experienced Kana's healing first hand. She woulda thought the woman was sith, except her finger nails weren't blue.

She glanced at Kana's nails as the woman turned to them, watching them through the air as the woman gestured.

“You should assign me somewhere else...” The unspoken ‘please’ hung in the air, the girl not often rendered small in demeanor.

This whole thing unsettled her greatly.

The large Jedi was more than a little spooked at the yell he just heard, and almost dropped one of the pieces of equipment, which he only saved through the Force. He slowly put the gear down, looking over at the source of the sound. He lowered gear, sighing. He would soon walk over, eyeing Kyra before speaking up.

"So.... You have yet to train in Force Healing, young one. Most Jedi are not skilled in everything. I for one can't fly most starships. Find what you can do though." Or'Fol would slowly turn to get back to heaving equipment to where it was needed, using to Force to put the gear back on his shoulders, and began to walk them toward the medical area. He'd been given a rough idea before arriving, but he knew he'd misplace something at somepoint.

Damien and Kyra both approached her and Kana smiled at them both to bring some light against the otherwise dark and dour mood they both seemed to be stuck in. Maybe it was her having grown acclimatized to the feel of death and suffering, or maybe it was just a small pinch of insanity or mental decay, but for all intents and purposes Kana was left relatively unphased by her surroundings. She was about to speak to Damian when Kyra interjected.

“Of course, Kyra.” She said and put her hand on the girl’s shoulder to calm her down. “I was going to put you on crate duty with our friend here,” Kana motioned for herglic who had offered them some words of wisdom, “But he has a very good point.”

“We can’t be skilled in everything, but we should most certainly do our best to try.” She looked up at Damian. “I’ve taught Damian a small piece of healing before. Nothing major but enough to help himself or those that need it the most.”

It was clear that this place didn’t fit either of them. Kyra was an empath, this place was far from a hospitable place for people such as her but there was something all three of them could do.

“There is a quieter part of camp where we keep those that are less injured. We should make our way there and I’ll show you both how you can help.” The healer said and looked over at the herglic yet again with a friendly smile. “You are welcome to join us, if you want.”

Leading the group forward, Kana made way towards the other side of the camp and delegated her responsibility to one of the other healers.

And now there were more refugees, this time from worlds burned by the Bryn'adul, such as Nadiem, Kubindi, Kesh, to name those highest-profile planets from which refugees have arrived. While the various prefabricated components were being unloaded, it had the consequence of turning the area into an expansive construction site, with the basic infrastructure being set up first. The power grid was being constructed starting from the equipment required to operate a power generator powerful enough to power a town. Of course, Jessica couldn't help but realize that Kyra was a bit in trouble with healing refugees. Maybe you should first start by the diagnosis, and also be mindful of Force-powered healing not dispensing with the precautions required of conventional medicine but you need to realize that healing will test your patience especially in the beginning. It's important that the energy input be proportionate to the ailment, and often determining what the ailment is will be key, Jessica thought, hoping that Kyra would receive the telepathic message.

Reggie carried some crates to their designated area, putting them in place for later use. There were a few others around, some of which he knew. There was one jedi master who was carrying heavy equipment like it was nothing, which Reggie found to be impressive. Reggie would have to introduce himself the the master at another time. Master Med-Beq was one that he knew, and he hoped that he would have an opportunity to speak with the master at some point. He pushed that thought aside for now though. Reggie's focus was on what he could do to help at the moment, and he knew master Med-Beq was focused as well.

Reggie thought it was a good time help with healing the injured. The padawan went to ask where he could start, but saw that the healer who seemed to be the one delegating the work was about to move to another area with a few others. He saw that Kyra was in the group that was going somewhere else. It had been awhile since he had seen her, and it seemed like they always encountered one another when they had tasks to do. Well, that seemed to be the case for everyone that he considered to be friends really. Reggie would speak to her later though. For now, he went to the healer that seemed to take over in delegating the work. Hopefully he'd be able to help with the injured.
