Alessandro awoke in his small hut on Kashyyyk. Today was the day he'd attempt to slay a Starweird, a creature that only lived in space. His main objective now was to find out all that he could about hem prior to fighting one. All he knew is that he'd get a large fortune if he slayed one. Money was scarce on Kashyyyk, so Alessandro needed all he could get. As a main occupation he competed in both discus and bobsleigh competitions around the galaxy, and was a skilled architect. But times were tough, shady work was sometimes the best option around. With this money, he could move to another city, or even a new planet, buy a star fighter, or work on the home he already had. Either way, he needed money.
He hoped on his Barc Speeder and headed to a library to read up on Starweirds. The library was a dainty little place with lots of books on high shelves. A Twi'lek librarian greeted him at the counter. "Greetings, is there anything I can help you with?" Alessandro appreciated the help. "Yes, I'd like to find a books or books on a species known as Starweirds. You have any of the sort?" A smile crossed her face. "Yes, they're up on the top shelf way over there." She pointed to a enormous shelf filled with books, about six shelves high. On the way top in the back corner sat a book call Encylopedia Magnifica: From Abyssin to Zygerrian. "Great, a karking encyclopedia. What am I to do with this? I was hoping this was a bit more specific." Muttering to himself wouldn't do anything about it, so he flipped to the glossary and found the Starweird section.
"Hmm, it says they are mildly force sensitive. And they also emit a loud shriek when captured. But how do they find you?" Alessandro continued reading. "Ah, they are only found in space and normally attack those repairing damaged ships. As for location, they're in deep space. Sweet, just fly a beaten down stolen ship into the deep unknown, and I'll have my Starweird. But it doesn't say how to kill them. I guess I've got to improvise on that." Alessandro walked over to the Twi'lek. "Thanks for letting me see that book, may I check it out?" She nodded. "Of course, just swipe your card and hand me the book."
He didn't like this, as he didn't have a card. "Nevermind, I'll be on my way." Leaving the library, Alessandro wondered how he was going to get a ship. Then he figured it out, the local hangar. Hopping on his speeder, he made way to the hangar. "Time to steal me a ship!"
