State of the Coalition: 9 July 2017

[SIZE=11pt]Being that our esteemed leader, [member=Bryce Bantam], has decided to take a much needed step back from Chaos and ORC (he’s not gone don’t worry!) I figured we needed an update on the State of the Coalition, as it had been a couple months since our last update.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]So first off, the stuff we all love: Threads. Currently, we are almost done with our ongoing Doms of Torrential and the Aing-Tii hex. Also we’ve completed our Dom of Ancora! Good job guys, I know the staff and I have enjoyed seeing what you all have thrown out there so far.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Primeval, another Faction has also merged with the ORC, and is currently considered our darker secret-y evil-ish side! While the IC lore of how that happens is still being hammered out in the Aing-Tii Dom, please give a warm welcome to all the new Primeval members in our midst![/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]In terms of map-game politics, we aren’t at war with anyone! Yay! ORC is expanding westward mostly, although on occasion we have come to blows with the GE and FO in recent times. Keep an eye out and please report any potential spies to [member=Joza Perl] so she can seduce them with pink glitter and pheromone bombs.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Also, the first ForceCon was hosted, and Forcers of all kinds met to discuss how the dark side and its potential should be utilized. While no concrete guidelines were laid out, and it was established that GENOCIDE IS A NO-NO!!![/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]And finally, last but not least, the staff are gonna be cooking up some new stories for you all to participate in. These will not be tied into the map game, and are purely to enjoy the story, relationships, and character development we all know and love. We hope you enjoy whatever we manage to Frankenstein together![/SIZE]

I'd like to stay away from warish threads.

On a side note, I can DM ONE dominion next time if need be.

On another side note maybe we should consider going to smaller dominions for the time being? I know a billion post requirement is daunting and it would be much easier to wrap stuff up with just a planetary dominion.

That way we focus on story and have room to interact instead of being scattered across a million objectives in multiple systems.

Another note, something that has hampered me in these large Tier Hex Dominions is lag of tagging.

When I try to jump in, it's incredibly hard for me to follow who's where and doing what, since some folks tag their location and others are already deep into the story and I'm guessing just forget or don't have a lot of time to hammer out a post.
