- Weapons systems moved to exterior of hull to alot for increased troop/mech space.
- Design altered to alot for well-deck and loading ramp increases.
- Can operate in atmosphere and land.
- Can operate on open water and submerge
- BULWARK: While it is not as defensively strong as a Mon Calamari warship, the Stellar Class can hold its own with Battlecruisers and Star Destroyers much larger. The balance of armor and defensive shielding make this a powerful albeit it relatively small battleship. The ship is not meant to go "head to head" in a sustained fight, but the ship can get in and out successfully.
- WHEN THE "HEAVY TRANSPORTS" JUST AREN'T FAST ENOUGH: The "Stellar" Class was build to provide the user with the ability to land mass amounts of troops onto a planet without immobilizing a fleet with multiple transports coming to and from orbit.
- EXPOSED WEAPONS: Much like the old Venator Class Star Destroyer. the "Stellar" class has her weapons on the exterior hull and not embedded. This does allow for more storage, but increases vulnerability when the ship is outmatched.
Admiral Angellus was a big fan of the old "Venator" Class Star Destroyer because of the all around capabilities that it has. He wanted to take this one step further for the Marines and believes to have done so with the "Stellar" class. The advanced systems and and weaponry allow for ship to ship combat and while it is not as powerful as other ships in its class, "The Stellar" can still hold up, and complete its primary objective and design which is land troops and tech on a planet. The purpose is to free up more space on other carriers and allow the Marines on those vessels to be used in an Ancillary role. While this is a "Silver Jedi Defense Force" asset, the Galactic Alliance Defense Force is more than welcome to place orders for their own.
