DESCRIPTION
Stellarwind Communication Services - or “Stellarcom” for short - is a privately owned and independently operated firm based out of Terminus, although has a rapidly expanding portfolio of hubs in sectors and systems stretching throughout the Outer Rim and even some towards the core. It primarily specialises in offering a private and discreet communication firm for areas that have been historically overlooked or priced out by larger networks. It also has some related secondary and tertiary operations around software, hardware and firmware keyed around facilitating this.
It was initially started out of a need to provide secure lines of communication for Stellarwind R&L operations, allowing it’s contractors to discreetly conduct both legal and less-than-legal business without fear of interception. From there it quickly saw the benefit of offering that very same service to a wider range of clients, with progression into information gathering and data brokering arriving fairly naturally not long after that.

RATIONALE

Using funds generated by Stellarwind R&L’s partnership and management of Kuat Drive Yards, Runi Verin has continued to build upon the company’s somewhat outdated infrastructure and update the number of services feeding into it. Previously reliant on communications owned and operated by unreliable and untrustworthy third party vendors, the founding of Stellarcom seemed an obvious forward and progressive step in that regard.
