  Stennis was born to a cadet house of the Imperial Fel dynasty. While his direct relation is nebulous, he is seen as the son and heir to Rurik Fel. He was born toward the end of the man's reign, taken in as a Page in the Order of the Imperial Knights where he was raised in a regimented, disciplined and militaristic Force Order. It constrained him as much as it did hone his natural accumen and talents for blademanship and the force. He grew to fight the Brotherhood of the Maw but with the Emperor's fall on Tython and the eventual decline of the Empire, the numbers of the Knights dwindled with many falling at the blades to defend the Iron Sun as others converted to the ways of the Jedi or fell to darkness.
  
  He stayed resolute, uncompromising to his vow, to the oathsworn values of his bloodline to retain the Empire and bring death to darkness. Among the final ranks of the Iron Crusade, the warhost of Knights to which Rurik called his own, he is one of the very last. Among a numbered few, he has been appointed Knight Commander of the final guard in Ravelin, the crumbling seat of power which once reigned over the Empire. Their forces are meager, a pathetic shadow of the Empire at Rurik's height. But even still, their oath remains, their aim still the same.
