Step Two: Metellos Bank Heist (Solan Charr)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLQ2_bZ5784
One of the many Floating Cities
Metellos First World Bank
After Netherworld
It was nearing the end of the day when the last customers of Metellos World Bank had their final call to leave before shutdown. The lowly employees did not belong on the floating cities of Metellos, their houses being down on the surfaces slums. They had shuttles to catch, and so they were eager for the work to end. Little did they know, other plans were in store. Just around the corner, under the cover of shadows stood what at first sight would seem like a group of four mercenaries, hanging around awaiting their next job. The truth was, they were currently undertaking their mission. In each of their ears was the small comm piece their client had given them through a secret package which had also contained various clown masks. The masks were in the bags that hung over their shoulder and rested by their waists, hidden from sight for now.

Meantime on the roof, a small green creature was tinkering with the building’s ventilation system. It was nothing technical, only a gas canister being linked into it to fill the bank with something different. Pressing her ear with her spare hand to activate the comms, she spoke to the mercenaries. “30 seconds.” At that moment she turned the valve on the canister, releasing the knockout gas into the building. Leaving the canister to do it’s work, the Yodaling lept down to the ground beside the men, giving them a small fright. Her head gestured forward, keeping them on task.

Inside the bank, the remaining customers and workers felt rather drowsy. A few noticed the discoloured gas coming from the vents, but only slurred speech came from them, before they fell to the ground unconscious. With the people inside asleep, the gas quickly began to dissipate as it was engineered to. By the time the masked men came in, the air was clear once again, however the civilians were no more awake than before. The men ran in with their rifles aimed up, quickly and efficiently placing blaster shots up at the cameras before they could get a good look at what was happening. Once the shots were fired, their timer began. They had to finish their job before anyone came to stop them, or the civilians woke up.

Behind them came Valtryx, examining their work. She was only here to make sure their work was not interrupted, and so she waited in the lobby, watching the door.

Four men and a little green creature entering the bank after those four guys waited till the end of the day to go into the place... Oh how people can thing they are so clever. Infact the moment Solan sensed the malice of their thoughts he had taken a seat on a bench, watching them wait and watching the Yodaling drop from the roof with a raised brow. To tell the truth he was bored and need something to take off his mind from the recent shit storm that had been the rapture... that was an annoying thing but hell, who knows why it happened... well some knew but headache.

Anyways he watched as the men moved through the door and with a sigh he dusted off himself and started towards the door, snapping and letting a spark turn into a small blaze of fire before he aimed it forward and let the fire leap from his hand with a speed of a cannon ball right into the doors, a burst of telekinesis held in the center of the flames as it had been a small trick Romeo Sin had taught him in merging the two powers. None the less the doors were blasted open with little effort, careful to immediately contain the fire so that no one was hurt by a fire he started. "Sooo where to i make a withdrawal?"

Valtryx wasn't surprised that resistance had arrived, but she wasn't expecting a force user. "A mistake, you have made, Jedi." She said coldly, unholstering her lightsaber and igniting its crimson red blade. There was no telling just how strong her opponent was yet, but by the work he had made of the door he seemed proficient enough to be a challenge. All Valtryx had to do was hold off the person while her men did their job. She would liked to have been able to escape with them, but they were expendable anyway. She could kill them after the job instead of during. For now the Yodaling focused on her opponent, readying herself for whenever Solan might attack.

Meanwhile at the back of the bank, the men were beginning to place the explosive charges around the vault door, wiring them up in a co-ordinated to ensure it came off in one clean blow. The main demolitions expert, Harper, began the timer. 15 seconds before it blew. All four of them retreated to a safe distance, awaiting the explosion and readying themselves to grab the loot.

BOOM

Solan laughed, almost couldn't stop himself as he stood there with his scythe in one hand and doubled over laughing at thhe Yodaling. "Me? Me a jedi, oh wow that is a new one." He laughed harder now and as he laughed a darker aura would start to crawl out from his mind drawing off the contempt, the worry, the fear, the anger, the pain. All of it channeling towards solan as he just continued to laugh and his dark aura grew. The fire ge sparked grew and started to snake around his arm as he seemed of have been broken by her simple words until finally the aura stopped growing and the two snakes of flame spiraled around his arms as he gripped the scythe tighter. "Question Yodaling, what do you fear?"

Valtryx peered at the man, noticing his aura increasing. Perhaps he was not a Jedi, most likely one of the foolish Dark Jedi who believe darkness can be achieved without the Sith belief. "I fear defeat. So I have no worries against you." She smirked, now tired of the man's egocentric display and initiating the attack. Beginning with a leap as per usual, she aiming a flurry of slices to his direct front, before landing infront of him to continue with even more. Her aim was to overload him with strikes, keeping him busy and maybe catching him off guard.

Meanwhile at the back, the men had moved into the vault and began tearing open the various boxes and containers inside. Rows of credit chits lay in each one, the estimate of thousands in each one. They started filling their duffel bags with the chits, getting as much as they could. They were told to aim for 10 million, but right now they were overwhelmed with the prospect, and just shoveled in anything they could. "It's payday fellas!" One exclaimed, happy to see such wealth being his.

He watched her jump at him and in a moment the scythe came forward and the first strike hit it in slow motion as his smile grew. Not even bothering to thak his hands moved along the staff, readjusting and making sure her strikes were kept from cutting off his fingers or over coming the shaft of the scythe. This was the good thing about Ashe's gift to him, he could within reason block saber strikes like that of the Yodalings and not have to flood the weapon with his own dark energy to strengthen the weapon. Meanwhile though he smiled harder as the snakes curled off his arm, their fiery fangs going at the body of the yodaling while it was close during one strike.

Valtryx noticed her strikes were getting nowhere, it was time to switch up the tactics. With a quick spin of her blade to slice the snakes, trying to keep them off her, she then made a sideways dodge, planting her feet on the door frame at the front of the bank to then jump outside. Once in the open she reached her spare hand out, calling on the force to pull Solan towards her, even if only slightly, just to get him outside. Her hand then beckoned him to come at her, as she gave a sly smirk. "Is that all you can do?"

The heist crew had finally snapped back to focus on the job at hand, systematically filling the bags to ensure the correct amount was reached. Idle chat was exchanged between them, as they were blissfully unaware of the fight outside. "You think the Sith will double-cross us?"
"Nah man, she gets what she needs out of this. Besides, she's only tiny. What can she do?"
They laughed together, filling more bags.
Oh, how wrong they were...

The moment she would cut into the snakes they would split into two more flaming snakes. Solan smiled as he was pulled outside, four telekinetic snacks that were covered in flames moving around him as he yawned and waved his hand forward, signalling them to attack the little yodaling while he started to feed on the world's negative feelings again. It was almost too easy considering teh massive distaste between the poor and the wealthy, if he had been a sith he probably would try to take over the world. "Oh, no, just watch." With that the snakes would start trying to slam into and ignite her clothing.

Valtryx was certainly impressed by the snakes, it was something she hadn't seen before. But it was also nothing she couldn't handle. With her spare hand still extended, she would conjure a barrier with the force, aiming to block the snakes and push back against them. Once the snakes had impacted against the barrier, she would quickly drop it and switch to a channel of lightning, sending it straight to Solan in a concentrating attack. If anything, she wanted to test the man's abilities in the force. She might as well have some fun while she was stuck here defending her men.

Speaking of her men, their bags were beginning to fill up. "Harper, rig it up. It's nearly time."
"What about the Sith?"
"She'll find a way to catch up..."
With a nod, Harper moved to the lobby and started to lay explosives on the floor in a circle. He noticed out of the corner of his eye the broken door, and beyond that the fight. Blanking it out of his mind, he continued his job. Slightly faster than before...

Solan saw the lightning and let the snakes peel off before he brought the blade of the Scythe forward as the lightning impacted on it, but instead of being channeled down the shaft and shocking solan it was absorbed by the blade as he pulled the blade back over his head and he smiled. "Run." With that he brought the blade down in an Arc, the lightning being released directly back at Minna as he laughed. Good thing about alchemical blades was, they were a queen to fight.

Valtryx had experience with alchemical blades, but she did not expect the scythe to be so similar to one. It was obvious really, but somehow it never crossed her mind. She leaped to the side once the lightning came, struggling to land on balance due to the urgency of the maneuver. With nothing force-wise to combat the powers of this man, she decided to return to her blade. Rushing forward, Valtryx would feign a strike to the front of the man, but instead jump over him and initiate a barrage of strikes from the back. A cheap ruse, but hopefully an effective one.

The explosives were almost set, and the other three men had come back into the lobby. They noticed the fight, seeing the crackling of lightning especially. "We better hurry..." Their leader decided, nodding to Harper to ready the blast. All of them stood back, bracing themselves as Harper pulled out the detonator, then pressed the button.
BOOM
The explosion shook the surrounding area, enough for the fighters outside to feel. Where the explosion had happened, the ground now crumbled and fell into seemingly nothing, until the smoke cleared and revealed a drop that looked like it was never-ending. "Bring in the bird." The leader shouted down his comms. Now all they had to do was wait for the pilot to arrive.
Oh, and survive the jump onto the ship...

Solan was ready for the strikes, right up until the men started to collapse the ground solan had been standing on. "Karking Morons..." He said under his breath as the blade of minna's cut into his should enough to make him grunt in pain as he turned to face her and the ground began to tremble. His smile grew a bit as the snakes appeared again, six in number and his scythe was secured on magnalocks behind him. "Start jumping little yodaling." His hands curled into fists and suddenly the weakened ground heaved a bit before giving way and the section started to fall out of the sky and break up. Minna and Solan both caught in the falling rubble now as they would have to take this in a far different type of fighting.

Valtryx smirked at the hit she landed, feeling fueled from the minor success already. However her expression changed when the ground beneath them feel completely. Now they faced each other on a falling arena, which gave her the disadvantage. It would be much harder to jump around without flying away from the rock, so she decided it best to try and keep her feet on the ground. With a charge forward, the Yodaling began a flurry of strikes, this time side-stepping to increase the directions from which her attacks came. Hopefully she might catch her opponent off guard again, but it was only a hope. Just as she was beginning to get more rapid with her strikes, the 'ground' they stood on seemed to hit something else, no doubt another falling rock. The part of rock right behind her fell away, leaving Valtryx cornered against the edge. With no other way to go but forwards, she charged again, continuing her strikes on the man to try and push him back.

The mercenaries ship came just in time, as the ground beneath them was beginning to become looser than expected. As one of them fell, they hit the top of the ship, hurt but alive. The others followed suit, landing more safely yet no less risky. With their money bags secure, they swung under the back end of the ship, finally inside to safety. "The Sith must have fallen down...."
"She can't have survived that!"
"Get us down there!" He shouted to the pilot, seemingly ignoring Harper's comment. The ship turned down sharply, chasing the rock the two force users were fighting on.

He eliminated two of her boons, and now to remove the last one. "I would suggest you keep your friends away, before i decide to turn the rocks around us into guided missiles." He smiled and the bad part was he was utterly serious, if she didn't call off the dropship, it would find itself int he middle of a hail of rocks. The moment her attacks go close though a saber dropped from his sleeve and he powered it on, switching to a defensive stance that tried to match hers on its own which was considerably easier with the acrobatics of Ataru hindered by their current situation.

Valtryx pulled back from her attack after realizing she was getting nowhere. Instead she stood there, staring deeply into the man. From there she tried to analyse him, he was obviously a righteous person, believing to do good for the innocent. That right there was her weapon. "Hold back, or attack you, he will." She told the ship's pilot through comms, and sure enough he leveled out the ship. "Go back up. Kill the civilians instead." The Yodaling lowered her comms device, smirked at Solan. "Do you care for the innocent? If so, you might want to let me get a pick up. That, or they go up and kill them all." Her lightsaber now deactivated, she merely stood there, having presented the choice to him. Would he want to kill one Sith at the cost of dozens of innocent lives?

"Except by the time they get back up there the corperation would have had the official government's forces at the bank so you just sent your people into a death trap. So i think you might want to redouble you order if i were you." HE smiled at her and charged forward, waiting to see if she cared about her people's lives once more and this time he broadcast it over an open channel so that the men heard too, and she better choose right on her next words if she wants her money.

"Get down here now, or I'll hunt you all down personally!" Valtryx shouted down the comms. Solan had predicted her well, she cared nothing for her crew, they were to be killed afterwards anyway. But she'd be damned if she would let this scum take the moral high ground. Holstering her lightsaber and bringing out an alchemised dagger from her belt, she would make a cut along her palm, squeezing it so blood was drawn faster. Focusing her knowledge of Art of the Small and aswell as all her anger and pain together in one area, she managed to alter the blood so that it was acidic to touch. Quickly she flung the liquid infront of her, in such a way that if Solan was to charge too far forward he would run into it. Afterwards she made sure to change the remaining blood on her hand back to normal, then move aside to ensure she kept her distance from the man as best she could.

The ship came on down fast, yet hesitant, swooping towards the rock. In no time it would be close enough for her to jump, but it all depended on whether the acidic blood had delayed Solan long enough, if at all.

"SMART, BUT WRONG MOVE." He charged right into the acidic blood, his flesh burning and his body shooting past her and off the central rock as he jumped to a nearby stone, then to another, until he was on one that would be right in the way of the dropship with a small push. And push he did as it sent him into the air while the stone was sent right at the engine of the dropship, solan's body hanging in the air until he tried to dive back onto the largest stone. At this point his chest had several very bad burns on them, but it was obvious Solan was simply drinking his pain.

"We're going down!" The leader shouted, as the rock tore through the engine and caused the whole ship to shake and spin out of control. "Save the money!" He said, unhooking his duffel bag from his shoulder and flinging it from the ship. The others followed suit, until four bags full of credits descended to the ground. It wasn't long before they all met the ground though, so Valtryx took her chance. With a great leap she left the main rock, freefalling down to pursue the bags. While the mercenaries tried to fire haphazard shots towards Solan, she was collecting her bags. Then, the clouds broke. Ground came into view, nothing but sprawling city and slums. Concentrating on the force, mainly feeding from her fear, the Yodaling slowed her decent ever so slightly, before fully pushing against the top of a skyscraper. Thanks to the force, and her proficiency at landing, she had arrived on the roof relatively unharmed.

The same could not be said for the ship, which continued to slowly spin down, bullets spraying from the back as the men tried to hit Solan. They had no idea who they were against...

Solan watched the first one cut into his fiber armor, sighing he started shooting from stone to stone, their aim now effectively useless until he aimed into the gunship itself and shot towards it. Drawing the Scythe once more he landed and pulled it apart to reveal the lightclub part of it as he breath in and roar out with a blast of telekinetics that slammed them into the side of the gunship, screams heard as one by one the men were cut down without any chance. Leaving the dropship falling towards the ground. Solan would not let it crash into somewhere that innocents could be harmed so now he put the Yodaling out of his mind and moved towards the front and the controls, taking them in hand and pulling. The dropship would cut into a skyscraper as it came down, his constant adjustments saving buildings wholly and aiming for a nearby area with few homes and run down factories. Pulling up and using what telekinesis he could though it was more just pushing a bit more pressure under the one wing to keep the thing sorta stable. It came down and slammed into the ground with smoke bellowing from it as he glided over the ground for a few moments and then came to a stop.
