Stepping down as Faction Owner

Well now, I look like the fool, don't I? But yes, I will be stepping down as the FO of the One Sith after the Invasion of Togoria.

Why? Well, there's a few reasons.

• Job Hunting: I'm on the hunt for a full-time job, so when I get one, I absolutely won't have time to run a faction.
• Health: As some of you know: in the last few months, I've been in and out of the hospital due to my asthma. It's time for me to get serious, and start doing things to strengthen my lungs (swimming, cardio exercise, etc). That's going to eat up even more time.
• Feeling like a job: I'm not going to lie, it has been stressful, to an extent. It's also eaten up what posting time I have, so my already slow replies have gotten even slower.

I've been a part of the OS Faction Staff, in one form or another, for around six months. That's a fairly lengthy time. And though my role as FO only lasted two months, I'm proud of what my team and I accomplished in that time.

We:

• Started the Community Spotlight threads, to shine a light on cool threads written by our members.
• Opened a new channel of conversation with the faction via Faction Feedback threads.
• Created the One Sith Inquisition, which you guys have embraced with open arms.

As well as a few other smaller things.

To everyone who supported me in the nominations: I hope that despite my run as FO not being super long, I didn't disappoint you. I feel like the faction is in a better position now, compared to when you voted me in. I hope that you feel the same. But yea, thanks everyone for giving me the opportunity to be the OS FO, it was an experience. Now I'm looking forward to actually participating with a lot of you in threads, haha.

I'll put up the new nomination thread after the invasion, then the voting thread a week after.

Like [member="Isamu Baelor"], I too am stepping down after the invasion. It was fun while it lasted but I am in one of my last years of university and is currently studying more demanding subjects so like Isamu, I also do not have enough time to dedicate to this position. I do not think I can be a good Faction Adminstrator, keep up with university work, RP and my live my life beyond this website so I have to give something up and that unfortunately, is my position as a Faction Administrator of the One Sith.

I just want to say thank you to both of you. It's been a pleasure to have you as admins and you've both done a great job!

Being a former FO myself I understand how grueling it is.

I hope you both stay in the Sith and we get to create some good stories together!

Even if I have only recently returned to the OS and Chaos in general, I'd like to say that after spending the past few days reading through various threads within the faction and on the main board in general both of you have done a remarkable job in holding down the fort after the events of the Netherworld and the Coup, the rather well put-together rebuilding effort being the cherry on top of it all. Take care of yourselves and attend to your responsibilities, you can hold your head high knowing you did a good job as far as I'm concerned.

Awww and I just made a LittleFinger playby imperial for the Empire, no fair.

Though I am nothing more than a spectator these days, what you guys have done has been great to say the least. Though the time was short, which seems common these days anyhow, it was far from wasted time. Good luck on your endevours!

As someone relatively new to both the site and the faction in general, I can say you've both done a great job. The information threads (combined with infrastructure/setup like the OS Inquisition) have been great and extremely useful/welcoming. It was clear how large your interest was and especially how you wanted everyone else to have their say (Feedback threads, etc).
