Stepping Stones

It has been a long while since he had the opportunity to train anyone but he decided to take the reigns again and picked a forest shrine area for the training, For now he decided to not maintain his humanoid form and use his wolf like form he found it relaxing in this environment. He sent a message to one of the newer initiates who was young in the force still but there was some he could teach her, Hopefully she will be up to the task of what he has in mind he doesn't train lightly even for the young but for now he simply meditated in his dark black fur covered wolf like form he liked being in such a form in the jungle and at the moment did not care if people knew this was what he looked like under the skin what was important was what he could do while he still had life in him.

Wolf Form

She'd received the message all right. It had piked an intense curiosity from her. Scherezade had hoped that such offers would come. Hoped, but not really planned on it. Of all she had scoured from the information her grandmother had shoved into her head, she knew that she was vastly different from both her grandmother and mother. Mostly, with the fact that she did not have the intense or bubbling charisma that just drew people to her with offers or interest. She didn't even know how to build that.

So the invitation had been... A huge surprise.

The invitation stated that it would be for training, so the girl picked out basic gear; a thick pair of leggins, a form fitting shirt, all in black, and some sneakers. Her little knife was strapped to her thigh, but that was pretty much all she had. She wasn't big on weapons, hadn't even touched a lightsaber yet, and.... And would probably have her ass handed to her.

The training spot picked was absolutely beautiful. So much decay in these ruins, and water that stood still. She liked places like that. No masks on it, nothing to hide it from prying eyes as to what it was. It was nothing. And that made it stunning.

She also noticed the wolf quite quickly. Had she come from any other bloodline, she would've probably darted. But she was a deWinter, and deWinters loved animals. The bigger, the better. And the bigger, the more of a puppy it was. Echoes of her mother yelling "PUPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' at a big rancor flashed in her mind.

"Here puppy," she said with a grin as she went down on one knee to bring herself to eye-level with the magnificent beast, "come here and I'll scratch behind your ears."

He stood up to her as she approached him like she would any other wolf even ask for him to come over so she could pet him,Part of him wanted to keep the illusion that all he was was a wolf but he wanted to train her so using telepathy he spoke directly to her as he tilted his head looking at her. As much as I would love to play wolf that is not what I called you here for, There's a few tricks I can show you if you are interested in the realm of magic that will help you in the long run... That is of course if your still interested. Also what is your name? I forgot to ask
Was all he said before he waited for her response if she wasn't interested then this was a waste of time but he might find away to not make it such a waste however if he wanted to teach her the realm of magic he wanted it will be a taxing and interesting experience for the child.

Scherezade grinned from ear to ear when she heard puppy's voice in her head. Katrine had taught her the ability just a few days ago, and it was one the more useful things she knew at the moment. Silent communication.

Of course I'm interested, she replied in the same manner, still grinning, I wouldn't be here otherwise.

Gently, making sure it would not come off as a threat, Scherezade allowed the Force to rise from her. She didn't shape it, or do anything with it; all she wanted was to let the wolf know what her strength currently was, and what it could be molded into. She came from a long line of strong Sith. There was no choice when it came down to it; she would train all she could, become the best she could, and eventually, be a force to be reckoned with.

I am Scherezade.

He gave a approving nod when she let her force presence flourish to show him how strong she is he could sense and feel how strong she was and was pleased to see that she was Mandragora for a reason, His form changed from the wolf like form to a more black like the night with a long whip like tail and sharp spikes across his spine and sharp claws and teeth Tuk'ata hound before speaking to her again.

What we will try today is a form of Sith magic the ability of channeling emotions into powerful abilities, We shall start with one of the simpler ones called Sutta Chwituskak or better translated as Bolt of Hatred.

He looked to one of the boulders across from them before standing up, He channeled his hate and anger for a moment and a sphere of green energy formed infront of his left paw that he raised up before firing it at the boulder and created a basketball sized hole clear through the boulder.

With practice and training you can do that to people or other things, To use this ability you must first channel your hate and anger and focus it into a sphere in your hand. Use what ever fuels your hatred the most will increase the potency of the sphere once you succeed in creating a sphere throw it at the boulder before you.

Scherezade looked and listened, going over the information she had inside her head, courtesy of grandmother deWinter. There was a form of what - she just realized she didn't have his name - showed her, though she knew it by the name of Kinetite and not Sutta Chwituskak. The Kinetite was also not based on anger.

The young Sithling nodded, and raised her arms as she brought her focus forward first, her lips mumbling a quick Witch spell to increase it with relative ease. Once her focus was in place, it was time to charge her hatred and her anger. Easy. Just thinking about her grandmother was enough to stir it- thinking about how that damned woman had stolen her from her parents, locked her away in a prison of darkness for over five centuries, stolen away the life she was supposed to have.

Her cheeks reddened as the rage began to flare, the green of her eyes wielded a light that made the emerald pop out in the relative darkness.

Scherezade's hands moved of their own accord, the sphere beginning to form between them. It was a small and pathetic thing, nothing like the green example she'd been shown.

She groaned, channeling more hatred and energy into it. And the stupid thing went out with a smoky poof.

He observed her and continued to be impressed with how quickly she was handling the ability as not many could even form the orb on the first go much less fire it, He took note of it poofing out before it could be fired which was understandable she made incredible progress already by showing she could form it. He turned to her and she could tell he was impressed a little by her progress and spoke again to her.

Not many could form the orb on the first try lets try again, This time only channel as much as needed to recreate the orb again and then release it forward. It is normal for this to happen for those just starting to learn the ability so you have made incredible progress in being able to form it now we just need to work on being able to fire it.

Sweat beaded off her forehead. She raised her eyes to look at [member="Rapax"], listening carefully to his instructions. His praise went over her head; if she couldn't do it, there was no praise. Do or not do and all of that. Attempts didn't count. Now she was going to have to create it again, but... Just enough to create it? That small and silly thing? How damage could such a kernel do?

Still, she nodded, her hands beginning to move again. The second time was easier than the first, though it was still small, much too small for her liking. However now she focused not on growing it, but on sending it to her right. She envisioned the movement, channeled her energies, and the stupid thing went to her left.

Without waiting, she fired up another one and tossed it, this to the right place.

Scherezade turned to look at her trained. "Yours is bigger than mine," she complained.

He observed as she tried again with less strain then the first time as was expected given she knows the concept of creating the orb and just needed to fire it, He observed as the small orb shot out and went to her left and was about to give her some praise on it but before he could speak he saw as she fired a second orb to the right and noted that her orb was not as large as the one he used. He couldn't help but chuckle a little before responding to her.

It will not be as strong as mine without constant practice, the more you grow the more powerful it will become but for now this will suffice.

[member="Scherezade deWinter"]

That would suffice? Okay, she could go with that. But she needed more information before she would accidentally start taking buildings down.

"What are the limitation of this orb?" she asked, looking at [member="Rapax"], "what will it destroy? What will it not? How many can be safely used in combat before I'm drained?"

All important questions. Having a tool to use was useless if you didn't know how much you could use it and what the firepower of it was. Once she had her answers, the Sithling would be ready to resume to another power.

He pondered the question for a moment, He has not seen multiple at once yet even by the lords that showed him but there's nothing saying it isn't impossible.

I have not seen anyone use more then one orb, Nothing says its impossible but for you I wouldn't recommend firing more then one orb until you have grown a bit,As for how destructive this can be I have seen lords fire orbs that can rip apart assault vehicles and it does not discriminate on what it destroys which makes it dangerous to any allies near by if your not careful. But for now lets see what else can we teach today...

He pondered for a moment what ability to pick.

[member="Scherezade deWinter"]

So those were the limitations. Scherezade nodded, already taking mental notes on how to get past most of them. If others could not deal more than one, she would have to learn how to deal first with two at once, and then three, and slowly build up from there. She was a weapon and had to sharpen herself as such.

"Anything," the Sithling challenged him with a grin, "I can't imagine there's something I couldn't do with the proper guidance. There is nothing I can imagine refusing to do it it makes me better, makes me stronger, makes me deadlier. So hit me with your best shot."

He pondered and finally found something else to teach, It was a tricky ability but he figured she could handle it.

I think i can find one more ability to train you in today, It is called Odojinya or better translated as Dark side web, It is a ability that you create a web of energy that anyone caught in it there strength is constantly sapped leaving them too weak to even speak even the force is severed under its grip. Normally i would try and find a live subject but for now we can practice on the tree just channel the force into your hands and ...well its hard to explain how to cast it but Imagine a web then imagine it wrapping around your target like a spider does.

It wasn't the best explanation but he hoped she can work with it

[member="Scherezade deWinter"]

Dark side web. Scherezade scanned her mind, finding the bits of knowledge about it that [member="Rapax"] had not mentioned. She knew about it, of course, but had never actually ventured to see if she could do it.

The main thing was, she wasn't sure if it'd actually work on the tree.

Still, she voiced no complaints. There was work to do. She had to train, in order to become better, to become stronger...

Slowly, the young Sithling began to gather the Force about her. This required more concentration than the orb had. Could she do it? There was only one way to find out. As earlier, she concentrated her hatred and anger on it. She realized how important of a fuel her emotions were, her feelings were. Little did she know they would grow beyond her ability to control the within the foreseeable future. But for now, bathing in the innocence of being only a month old, she gathered all that she had.

It was a slow process. She had probably sitting there for an hour or two, trying to make it work. Dark matter began to form in her hands on more than one occasion, but it also fizzled out before it became anything useful. Sweat was beading down her forehead and back as she continued to focus. If [member="Rapax"] said anything durng that time, she did not hear him, lost in her own world of trying to make a web happen.

It was hours later, and much after Darkness fell on their place in the jungle, that she succeeded, her web tossed on the tree she had been instructed to use, the wood sizzling and melting beneath it.

He wasn't surprised that it took her so long to harness the dark side web, it was not a simple ability and way more complex then bolt of Hatred but he was pleased at the result that produced in the end. Sadly we have no living target at the moment to practice its fullest potential but find your self in a combat scenario and youll find that power is incredibly useful.. If you land a hit with it of course no matter the power of the target I believe that is all i can teach you for now do not want to rush you and wev learned abit today as is, However if you wish to learn more you can seek me out at anytime.

Was all he said before he stood up [member="Scherezade deWinter"]

Scherezade nodded.

"Thank you for your time," she said with a little smile as she still fought for stable breath. It had been a good day. They had covered a lot. And now she had to go and get her very well deserved rest.
