  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Sterling Kinslayer
  • Affiliation: Sterling Kinslayer
  • Model: N/A
  • Modularity: Can be attached to certain devices as a trigger mechanism.

  • Production: Mass-Produced.
  • Material: Duraplast, Durasteel, Electronics, Physical attachment device, mag clamp
SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Laser Tripwire
  • Attachment Devices
Strengths:
  • Attachments: Can be attached to doorways or windows, to activate an infrared laser sight. When this threshold is crossed, the device activates and sends a signal to attached devices. In the case of Sterling's armor, this is just an alert of activation.
  • Signal Reciever: Can have it set to send an activation signal to other devices besides Sterling's armor. For instance, a detonation pack just to the side of the window.
  • Duraplast: Slight insulation from EMP devices.
Weaknesses:
  • One way: Only hidden from one side. On the other, it sticks out like a sore thumb.
  • Extension: If one is careful they can see the device sticking out past the door or window.
  • Laser: If the laser tripwire isn't crossed, the device doesn't activate. That means even if one does not notice it, some with a high step gait can circumvent the device.
DESCRIPTION

A second device created by Sterling to combat his lack of mobility. Simply put, the device has a short range infrared laser which, when crossed, alerts his datapad and HUD that it has been broken by something crossing over. To ensure some relative usefulness outside of this simple purpose, they could also be designed to send the signal to other devices, such as nearby explosives. This meant he could use the device both as a trap and as a simple information tool, making the possibilities of the device as limited as he could be creative.
