The [SIZE=11pt]Storis[/SIZE]-type HVC was made for standard range engagements enabling gun crews to fire on starfighters. An ionization field has been made available to gun crews to enable or disable at their discretion. Internal temperature checks with an automated overheating warning lets gun crews know when to let the gun cool before they resume firing.
Automated tracking and targeting sensors help gun crews lead targets and fire with accuracy. Automated lock-on can be enabled as well help gun crews be more effective when firing. A firing radius of 90° with an 85° firing arc, capable of being twin mounted and [SIZE=11pt]fast tracked[/SIZE]. The Storis is able to be mounted on a variety of platforms, from stations, bases and starships to towers and defensive platforms. A trilamnium overlay helps provide resistance to turbolaser fire but the weapon is still vulnerable to other projectile and ion weaponry.
Utilizes Aurora Industries [SIZE=11pt]sianium[/SIZE] power generator for a high stopping power, and an increased rate of fire. This does make the Storis vulnerable to the siaber’s own vulnerabilities.
