- Name: Storm Eun, or just Eun for short.
- Designation: Non-sentient
- Origins: Pamarthe
- Average Lifespan: 10 years
- Estimated Population: Inter-Planetary
- Description: Storm Eun were a strange and diminutive flightless bird native to Pamarthe. They were often found on the islands living in flocks. They were omnivorous creatures living off of a combination of the small fish, shrimp, and other crustaceans and shellfish found in the tide pools along with local grasses and seeds. They appeared to have evolved to be utterly useless however their thick, large padded feet were incredibly strong, able to crack the shells of most Pamarthen shellfish with ease making them dangerous especially to children. They never seemed to get cold even after a night out in the storm. It was common on Pamarthen homesteads and aboard long-term fishing vessels.
- Breathes: Type I
- Average Height of Adults: 70 Cm
- Average Length of Adults: N/A
- Skin color: Grey
- Hair color: N/A
- Distinctions: Eun had no hair or feathers and were entirely fleshy except for their powerful legs which were hard and tough like most domestic fowl. Their skin was typically grey. They had small, beady eyes and a rather sharp beak that was close to their face. Scientists are confused how it has survived as long as it has due to it being nearly defenseless to even medium-sized predators like ridge boars and feral Salt Hounds. It is generally believed though, that somehow these diminutive creatures would still survive even without human breeding and intervention.

- General behavior: Like most domesticated landfowl they did nothing but walk around and peck at the tide pools all day. In the wild they gathered in large flocks of several hundred Eun. There was no distinctive way to tell between a male and a female but both seemed to lay eggs, though only females could lay fertilized eggs. These were also very salty. In the wild they were commonly preyed upon by Pamarthen Lions, feral Salt Hounds, and Ridge Boars.
The Storm Eun, Eun, Pamarthen Salt Fowl, etc was a native species of landfowl. Due to their low intelligence and relative ease of capture, the Storm Eun became a staple in early Pamarthen diets and became one of the most commonly bred animals on the planet. They were already perfect for domestic use and no further domestication was required. They could be commonly bought and sold both alive and butchered at local markets and some were even kept as pets by children, though even those usually met very delicious ends. They were used commonly in Storm's Breath Stew, a Pamarthen stewed tuber dish that included the Eun, using its naturally high salt content to season the dish.
