Storm of Emotions

Taeli had decided to meet her apprentice Glyph in the main marketplace in the business district of Coruscant. She had decided the time had finally come to begin changing him fully into a Sith, and away from what he was. She knew the one weakness that could be exploited here, his desire to protect those he cared about and to gain the strength to do so.

Right now, Taeli had an eye on a certain young girl that would be a prime subject to be that thing. The girl was an empath, from what she could tell, and didn't know how to control such a thing. Luckily, she had an apprentice who did know and when he encountered her, he would react as she expected him to. Then, she would turn both fully to the Sith, with a slight focus on the girl to draw Glyph in slowly.

It would prove to be an interesting experiment if nothing else to see if this would work.

Claire sat there, frozen and locked up. The voices were getting to her, and she began to hyperventilate. Her eyes would move, trying to look at who or what was talking to her. Nothing made any sense to her. One moment, she was handling it, then the next... hundreds of people were around and she just couldn't take it anymore. After another moment of this, the girl would scream and hold onto her ears.

He sighed again as he held his ears and looked at her for a few moments before trying to focus once more on her mind and sighing. "Listen miss, you need to focus on somthing, what ever it is that you want it needs to be something you can focus on and only on. Whether its the sound of my voice or something else." He tried to lessen her load as much as he could without making his advice impossible to give. It would still leave him sitting there motionless so he really hoped no one took the opportunity to smack him upside the head.

Taeli sighed slightly as it seemed they were having issues quieting the voices around the girl. Perhaps she could assist the process in a small way, although she knew taking the girl to the Sith Temple would help more. The meditation chambers were able to block out surrounding minds and emotions after all.

Using her own presence, she reached out and started to engulf the area, making it the most prevalent and covering the surrounding peoples' emotions and thoughts. It would have the benefit of suppressing everyone else around the pair, but it would make her presence known to both. But that was okay, Glyph knew she was around after all. Watching.

Slowly moving forward into sight, her purple dress swishing around her as she walked, she said, "Glyph, is there something wrong with her?"

She made sure her words were genuine and true. After all, she didn't really know how empathy affected someone so she could easily ask that and be truthful when she ahd been watching her for sometime while she waited for her apprentice to show up and find her.

With both the mysterious woman, and man suppressing the people around them, the girls load is decreased, and she would slowly start to breathe normally, and have some thinking room. After a moment or two, she realizes where she is and she softly blinks. "W-W-Wait, this isn't my a-apartment. . ." Clearly someone either dragged her here, or the girl forgot she left her house.

"Whoever this girl is, she for some reason either just now was getting her powers in empathy or came to this world like, and forgive me for the chosen word miss, a moron. Basically she is not used to this many minds around her and as such is not trained to death with so many feelings at once and its working its way into her brain and harming her mentally. I am supressing the feelings around her by redirecting those to me but in the process this is hurting to high heaven and i can not move. So thats a quick breakdown on it, do we have anywhere where i wont have to do this every second of the day, because right now its getting a bit annoying. Oh and who ever is doing the torture lesson next door really needs to stop because that is just irritating..."

"We can take her to a meditation chamber in the temple," Taeli replied, coming over to help the girl to her feet and help her to a cab. "I'll make sure she can only feel me right now, but I need you to be moving." She kept her presence all around the girl, blocking any further voices or emotions from reaching her as her presnece would fill the girl's senses.

Turning her attention to the young girl, Taeli whispered in a low and comforting voice, "It's okay, we're going to take you somewhere that doesn't have any of these voices that are hurting you."

Helping her along to a landing pad, she also sent a message to several Sith Royal Guards to deal with whoever was doing a torture session in the middle of a busy civilian area.

"To the Temple, and make it fast," Taeli ordered the driver, setting the girl gently into the cab and making sure Glyph was next to her to continue supporting her.

She lets the odd woman help her up, and she would then hold her head. She tries to take in what Glyph stated, but all she could say was something pleasent. ". . .But. . .I-I swear I didn't leave my home. . .or. . .remember how I got here. . .I. . .just remember leaving a ship. . ." She would slowly follow the woman, and got into the lil' cab. "A-Are we going home. . .? Do i know you?"

Shizuo had no real reason to be near the Sith Temple... He'd always found it fascinating, despite finding the Sith themselves very dreary. People who blasted cities into the ground for the fun of it really weren't the blue-furred aristocrat's speed. He simply liked to explore and observe. Those who interrupted him were worth nothing, like the two guards who'd just tried to stop him from entering the temple. Not even Force Sensitive, they'd still gone up against a man whose arm was literally glowing with Force Energy. Morons.

But then he smelled something. There was a person who smelt immensely powerful, and two lesser presences who still piqued his interest. All in one place. Astonishing. His seven tails waved slowly behind him as he stood in the doorway and watched the speeder come down. His scent was flowing out of him as if a tap had been turned on, and it made him feel like laughing.

This could be the start of some very interesting events, and Shizuo would make sure he was a part of them.

Glyph sat silently and looked at the window of the speeder while he kept his mind held up against the emotions he felt and could stand the amount he was feeling. His hands crossed in his lap as he looked at Taeli with a bit of a silent question asking if she was going to do anything about the girl's empathy or if she was just going to use her.

Taeli answered Glyph's silent question with a returned look that said they would help the girl with her empathy, but she would need him to do so as she wasn't an empath herself. She didn't communicate that the girl would be the cause of Glyph's own fall, but that was a long term thing and didn't need to be said or thought currently.

"We're taking you somewhere you might get some quiet," Taeli said aloud, answering the girl's question. "And you probably don't know me, I keep to myself mostly, but my name is Darth Arcanix. I'm a Sith Lady, but right now, I'm just someone who wants to help you."

As the speeder arced towards the Temple, Taeli looked out the window and kept her focus on keeping the girl's focus completely on Taeli's presence. As long as the girl had something singular and powerful to focus on, she would be able to function a bit until they were in that meditation chamber.

The girl would stare straight infront of her, and just nodded her empty head. ". . .I-I think. . .I-I heard about t-the Sith. . ." She calmly stated. Soon though, the only emotion she could hear would be the driver, and her mind and body eased up abit. The girl finally went back to a normal breathing pattern, and the nice lady didn't have to concentrate that much anymore. "O-Okay. . .T-The voices stopped now. . .but, how did I get here. . .I-i don't remember. . .being there. . ."

"I'm not sure how you got there, but it's a good thing Glyph and I found you when we did," Taeli replied, drawing her presence back in since the girl seemed better and the voices weren't everywhere now. "Is there any reason you came to Coruscant?"

"No.. .No none.. .Is this where I am?" It would appear that she doesn't truly know where she is, or how she got here. ". . .Honestly. . .I. . .was just trying to go home. . .then I wanted to see if I could control it. . ."

He muttered something that didn't exactly sound like it was in basic but from his tone it was clear he was not exactly all happy about seeing someone so reckless with something that could kill people like them that he was cursing in a language that was intelligible.

"Well, we will see what we can do to help you control it, then you can go home if you so wish," Taeli said as the speeder landed in front of the Sith temple. She could see a small crowd outside, some curious acolytes or other people watching as Taeli helped the young girl and her apprentice out of the speeder. As they did, Taeli made sure her presence was all encompassing again as they moved through the crowd, so the girl could only feel her right now.

"Glyph, can you make sure no extra thoughts or emotions seep in until we are in the meditation chamber," Taeli asked her apprentice.

She slowly nods, and would feel several thoughts and voices enter her mind. It was antagonizing, but then the nice mysterious woman did something, and kept most of them at bay. She has her own thoughts now, the same questions that she has asked the woman. "T-Thank you. . .a-and why a-are you doing this?"

Shizuo's sensitive hearing picked up the conversation from the short distance he was away. He balanced on a wall, his seven tails sweeping around behind him, and grinned toothily at the three people in the now-grounded speeder. The blue-furred fox-man wiggled his fingers and suddenly moved to hang upside-down off the wall.

"Well, why do Sith do anything, beautiful? It's either power or whimsy. Maybe both. Both is good."

"More to help you and out of genuine concern," she answered the girl, while also looking over the unexpected visitor that was hanging upside down. "It's not safe for an empath, that isn't trained to deal with, to wander the busiest world in the galaxy."

Gesturing for Glyph to help the girl, she began moving the group into the temple and towards the place the girl could get some quiet, but she had to stop and address this mysterious guest.

"Mind I ask who you are, and why you seem to assume so much about what a Sith will do anything for?" she asked.

Glyph looked at the girl and helped her move along to the meditation chambers, letting his master deal with the new man and feeling a bit sorry for the guy considering he knows what it is that the Sith can do. His eyes would turn to the girl, providing a barrier for the moment, thinking to himself.
