Storms End

The massive The Library monolith itself was nothing to balk at as she was moving around. The jedi master standing off to the side of the small lake that had been setup within one fo the biodomes for now. She had been working to see what could be done with the temple and the Botany Bay was here now... connected and allowing her massive garden ship to open up, the creatures in the hold roaming free over the grass. Matsu herself stood with some of the jakobeasts while they were roaming around. The library itself was moving around in space, going form planet to planet and giving all of the jedi who were roaming its halls a chance to study. She let the robes flow around her as she walked going through the halls.

The statues and murals on the walls along with some of the artifacts that had been recovered about some of the jedi here. She knew there was even more to see before heading forward with a small grin on her face. The Qel-Droma robes flowing as she walked forward now. The feeling fo the force around her like a warm sensaqtion that made everything on the ship be calmed, be focused. Her long black hair straight and in a tight ponytail that hung low with a smile appearing on her face before she stopped looking in at one of the halls they had set up. Showing different groups of jedi who had fought in the more recent one sith wars where they were facing the dangers of Daella and others. For their lives when they had died but also the living ones.

She stayed there before going into the office, overlooking the training area.. well one of them a main one. The training droids moving around with sabers while some of the newer padawans roamed with all of them. Taking some of the interest as she had a small look towards the holodisplay ensuring what was going on as well as the status of the library itself. Massive, hulking and being docked with another ship to let them unload more padawans, other jedi and supplies as it came out of hyperspace for a short time then was preparing to jump back into it. Heading who knew where but the random coordinates from the jedi were an important thing to make sure it was harder and harder to find the monolith.

The Padawan ignited the green crystal lodged within her lightsaber hilt, and began circling the training droid. She walked in one direction, and then another, but the droid matched her movements perfectly each time, allowing her no point of attack but head-on. She grit her teeth and charged anyways, blade outstretched at her side. Kira tried getting under the droid's blade-shielded arms to attack it's exposed underbelly, but the construct was too quick. Her saber connected with one of the arms while the other came around in a long arc to strike back at her. It's so quick! She tucked and rolled away, turning her blade off as she did so, only to reignite it as she regained her footing.

The droid came forward, not giving her a moment to breathe. I shouldn't have set it so high, she lamented. You're not ready, you aren't strong enough, came the intrusion. Her blade parried the first arm, and then the second, but she was being pushed backwards by the relentless onslaught of machinery. She managed to block each attack, time and time again, but just barely. Her body began to tilt backwards and she fought to keep upright against the assault. Finally, a hard left swing connected with her blade and tipped her over. Kira fell backwards onto the padded surface below, landing with an audible thud. The right arm came down over top her, but stopped inches from her face, the droid freezing in place as it claimed victory.

I shouldn't have set it so high, but I thought I was ready. Kira had programmed the droid to fight at the level of a Jedi Knight. I'm better than I was, but still have a ways to go. She forced herself into an upright sitting position. You're too weak, the voices said, but she ignored it.

Kira stayed seated as her breath caught up to her. Her eyes wandered around the training room and to thoughts of the massive ship she was inside.

(OOC: I've decided to start Kira off inside the training room, as I figure that she would already be aware of such a large ship that is open to Padawans for use. If this isn't okay, just let me know and I'll amend my post!)

Matsu looked up from the desk as she was going over some of the information from the Ai that was running it. "Master Ike, the training session is finished for now, the padawans are ready for their next instructions." She gave a nod of her head, not really aware of how much time had passed but a fair amount she was certain. The old master rising up out of the chair that Son-Jan had sent her. with support because as he said she was old... the nine hundred year old master said the neqar fifty one was... either way she had sent him his x-wing waterbed.... Getting out as shie came from the office onto a platform and joined the others on the floor.

Matsu looked them over and stood tall, letting the slightly off white color of the underrobes gleam with the force as they practically radiated energies going down into her boots and her gloves. A small guard around her neck to obscure the tattoo's and scars. Hair down to the smal of her back with small crystals and beads laced in the strands. Black eyes watching all of them when she looked up at several from her smaller height but she spoke with a firm voice that remained softer for the most part. Encompassing the room where she needed ikt to with the force. "Welcome to the library, I am glad you have found use for our facilities. I am Master Ike. Please tell me your names padawans."

Kira watched as the Master had made her way down to the training room floor. All eyes turned to look upon her as she neared the Padawans in their exercises. Kira had seen Master Ike from afar a few times, but never so close. She's still coming forward, she realized, she's going to talk to us. Many of the other trainees stopped their training as they too realized they were in the presence of a Master. She followed suit, and rose from the ground, clipping her saber hilt onto her utility belt. Kira adopted a rigid posture and stood at attention as she waited for her turn to speak. Master Ike is shorter than I thought she was, though she knew that size mattered little when it came to the force.

"I am Kira Novak," she told Ike. "I am glad that the library is here for our use. These facilities are incredible," she looked around the room as she spoke. "Though I must admit that I have only seen a small fracture of this place so far, I should like to explore more if possible." Kira was nervous in the face of the esteemed Master, but she shoved those feelings to the back of her mind. It was a rare opportunity to be given such attention, and she would not make a fool of herself.

Matsu looked at her and gave a nod of her head, the library was huge... built like a school but also a fortress to protect everything it held. Able to move around and be a space station. She also knew many didn't explore all of it, ten kilometers by ten kilometers waqs massive, filled with many jedi and droids who maintained all of it. She clasped her hands behind her back when she stood there. "It is a large station, I built it and there are still some places I haven't went into yet. More then enough time though padawan Novak." She offered a warm smile though and was leading the way for the others who were joining them here. The doors opening to one of the mess halls and there was food set out for them along with some of the smaller treats and water. "Eat, restore your strength al of you, we have been working ion the gardens and these are freshly harvested." The smile remained when she stood there seeign some fo the droids that had been being worked on. Defensive droids yes but also the commando style tgraining droids who could move around faster or the more stationary models. "Thanks to some of our artisan's we have been working on new equipment and special training robes for you padawans. To wear on missions or just in training sessions." She said it and offered a seat. "Tell me how long you have been with the order Padawan Novak."

Kira followed Master Ike along with the other Padawans. They were led into a mess hall with tables full of fresh fruits and vegetables. She could tell that everything was freshly harvested as Ike had said just by the smell of the room itself. She took a bite of a strange looking fruit that she suspected was native to Kashyyyk. It was sweet, almost too sweet, but was refreshing after a long day of training.

"I've been with the order since I was seven or eight," she told Matsu Ike. "I'm not exactly sure the exact age I was, it's been so long. I've spent so much of my life on Voss that it's been a bit hard getting used to things here. Though the natural beauty of Kashyyyk is incredible."

"How long have you been a Master?" she asked her elder. "And how did you come to build this incredible ship? I've never seen anything like it in my life." Kira was impressed with the ship, and couldn't even begin to fathom how much such a thing would cost.

There was a look. "I have been a jedi since I was born, I was adopted by the order after my mother died and became a master when I was fairly young around my twenties. I have always been very good with technical aspects and knowledge to learn any number of things." She said it while sitting there and she had a small grin appearing on her face. "As to the ship, I am one of the main jedi in the tech division and lead artisan. I constructed the library and the Ai that runs it while also making it into something nice for testing out reconstruction chances on other planets. We have a number of biodomes from some of our older mandalorian allies who helped us with protection and ways to make some of the tougher armor for the jedi." She leaned back a little in her seat and brushed a strand of hair out of eyes before finishing with her speech. "It is made to move around and go where needed over just being stationary. It is for the protection of the jedi as much as the station itself."

"It is fascinating," she told Matsu, clearly impressed by the station. "Speaking for my fellow Padawans, I can say that we are all glad to have such a thing on our side."

"I wonder if you can help me with something." Kira wished to further her study of the lightsaber forms, but was having difficulty finding information on a specific one. She had been unable to find anything in the Silver Rest archives. Maybe what I am looking for is restricted to Padawans, she considered.

"I'm looking for information on Form VII, of lightsaber combat. I've heard it referred to as Vaapad or Juyo. I wish to study it to further my own abilities, but as yet I've been unable to find anything on it. Do you think you could show me to the library or the archives on this ship so that I could take a look. Anything at all would be helpful. A holocron or a data pad, it doesn't matter to me."

Matsu raised an eyebrow as she was looking at the padawan and remained still for a moment. Almost looking like a statue. "That is because the seventh form can be dangerous for many. It is not something masters want padawans to just try on their own without understanding how dangerous it can be but there is a great deal of information about it in the holocron vault and [member="Saki"] one of the masters in the temple herself is trained in it. Her master had her learning it since she was a youngling and it was dangerous enough for her to learn it. Few others though know how to properly use it or will be able to control it." She said it but wasn't saying it like she wasn't willing for it, she just didn't want to have a padawan be at risk.

Kira listened intently as Matsu explained Form VII to her. For her entire career as a Jedi she had been acutely interested in lightsaber combat, and the explanation of the dangers of Vaapad only served to intensify that interest. Kira wondered in what way the style could be dangerous. Her force control was lacking, she admitted, but she was in the top of her class in regards to combat with a lightsaber. I can handle it, she told herself. You can do it, you're ready for it, for once her other voice agreed with her.

"Thank you for the information, Master Ike. I will see if Master Saki has time to speak to me about it." Kira gave her a bow. "I'll be sure to be careful, I just want to study learn about it a bit is all," she lied, resolving to do more than just learn about it.

Kira finished up what she was eating and made for the Holocron Vault to find whatever she could about Form VII.

Stretching herself out as she sat there for a moment the jedi master bowed her head. The library was traveling and they could go any number of places in the galaxy. More then that as she finally rose up it gave her a chance to go and check on some sections from her office for a moment. Matsu herself going out to see tjhe large hanger where the OriRel had docked and with her daughter and padawans help she had come to learn about and work with the ship. she was free to leave whenever she wanted but it had chosen to stay with them, a lightside organic ship offering insight into what could best be considered an unknown area. Her own work with biotechnology ranging from charon to aing-tii and vong tech but the organic tech here was nicely fused and it made for a living ship where a jedi had transferred their spirit into before they died. She passed the massive thing and headed into the large office that held what might be her holocron when she finished it, massive and floating with the synthmesh to protect it and crystals within the lattice to hold the knowledge that she knew and how to teach it. The most important part was the security systems to makwe suere no one who wasn't ready could access the knowledge as she sat down at the desk looking out and awaiting anyone else who might want to come into the office.
