Stranded in Tatooine

After the crash landing Garirhe checked if everything was OK, at least C6 was but the rest of the ship?
Well let's just say that this was his last flight, fortunately the comunication system still function the only hope of the wookie was to send a message and wait for someone to pick them up.

He start the recording and grunt to the droid to start sending the message.

"Hello whoever listen to this message, I'm a protocol droid C6-E3-GE3 series, with my partner Garirhe The Wookie we crash in Tatooine and now we can't left the planet"

Garirhe roared to the droid and he translate

"My partner says that if you need a Pilot or a bodyguard or something similar he's your wookie for the job, of course if you want him I have to go too I'm a protocol droid capable of speaking five millon languages and..."

The Wookie interrupt him with another roar, the droid could talk about his abilities later, now they have to start moving to a safe place

"Alright don't need to shout... My partner says that we're going to wait outside of Mos Eisley cantina, we hope someone can hear this message"

After that Garirhe grab his Bowcaster, Ryyk blade and left the ship with the droid, it was the beginning of a new life thought the Wookie, in the worst scenario he would need to sell his equipment or work in a junkyard to make some credits and buy a ship, he really hope that someone showed and pick them up

Mos Eisley was in the middle of nowhere.

Situated on a backwater world on the backside of the Galaxy, there were very few reasons to visit the sand-swept establishment. However, the Commander of ApeX was in the need of certain assets...and these could always be found in dusty cesspools like Tatooine. As such, the Behemoth strode through the main bazaar flanked by a squad of compatriots. They deliberately kept their numbers few, as to not undue attention to themselves. Already the seven foot forms of Malok and his men would draw a lazy gaze - and as such they didn't want to stick out any further.

"Let's make this quick."

The squad entered the cantina's rear and began the typical routine. A pair went off to speak to the bartender in the hopes of securing leads on potential recruits. The others sat down at their usual booth and scouted the Cantina itself. Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries, and general thugs frequented the spot, so if there were any golden nuggets they wanted to be the first to spot them. In time, Malok found himself with a glass of water in hand, sipping absently as his men worked.

"We've got something Commander." said one of the men returning from the bar. "Wookie. Stranded. Looks capable."

"He here?"

"Aye sir."

"Bring him over. Let's see if he's ApeX material...and if he checks out, make sure to tip the bartender."

Malok's subordinate issued an affirmative grunt before navigating to the cantina's front entrance. And there he was - the Bartender was going to see a few credits slide his way for sure. The hulking ape casually stepped forward before motioning towards the entrance.

"Heard a bit about you from the barkeep. Boss wants a word - worth your while."

He kept it deliberately vague, for who knew what ears could be watching, before heading back inside.

Commander Firestorm

ARC Trooper Out of Time, Commander of the Unbroken
The Galactic Republic star destroyer, Unbroken was making a patrol near Tatooine when it picked up the distress call. Commander Firestorm headed for his custom LAAT/i gunship and flew it down to the planet's surface, landing in one of the many landing bays in Mos Eisley. He ventured over to the cantina the message had mentioned and entered.

He wore his ARC Trooper armor, two custom DC-17 blaster pistols in holsters on either of his hips, and a lightsaber that anyone other than himself would think was a Baradium-Core code key thermal detonator. He walked in and took a seat at the bar. He made no notion of himself being of Republic allegiance.

The Initium was en route back to First Order space, using the lesser used hyperlanes and routes that led back to Dosuun. Avedia was sat in meditation at the back of her ship, accompanied only by the R6 astromech droid she had kept as a companion since her days as a Jedi Knight and the gatekeeper of Darth Revan's Sith Holocron. Seeking guidance from the holographic projection of Darth Revan, Avedia sought answers to the mysterious ability of [member="Darth Abyss"], which had prevented her from claiming victory over the Sith Lord and consequentially forcing her into his servitude.

But Revan's Holocron gave no such answers. It seemed that the ancient Dark Lord of the Sith that had constructed the fist sized ruby pyramid did not possess the knowledge necessary for Avedia to learn about Abyss. The familiar lectures on claiming superiority and victory over your opponent came forth from Revan instead, only fueling Avedia's hatred. She knew that she had to win on Korriban or pay the consequences, for the Sith only dealt in absolutes. She had failed and now she was paying the price.

Arsix bleeped at her side. Avedia opened her fiery gaze and looked inquisitively at the astromech. It was then that she realized that the Initium was picking up a distress call. Rising up to her feet, Avedia climbed back into the cockpit and listened to Gerirhe's distress call. Checking the fuel reserves of her ship, Avedia realized that she needed to refuel her ship if she was to continue her long navigation along the Outer Rim Territories back to Dosuun. Setting a course for Mos Eisley's to refuel her ship, Avedia decided that she would inquire about the Wookiee's services. She had heard about the benefits of having a Wookiee companion, and after her meeting with Abyss on Nar Shaddaa, she realized that she could do with all the help she needed for the task she had received from her new Master.

Garirhe and C6 walked in the sand for hours until they finally got to Mos Eisley, they went directly to the cantina but as soon as the wookie enter a gamorrean stand in front of the droid and didn't let him enter, the pig like creature grunt something that the Wookie didn't understand

"He says that droids are not admitted inside the cantina"

The Wookie roared and almost attacked the gamorrean, but he thought that it wasn't worth all the trouble and decided to wait outside, minutes passed and the people around them didn't look interested in pick them up, Garirhe was getting tired of waiting and grunted to the droid.

"No, we're not going to steal a ship, I don't like this planet either but we have to wait, someone is going to pick us before night time"

The Wookie sighed and stood up, he was going to walk around the place when a man talk to him

"Heard a bit about you from the barkeep. Boss wants a word - worth your while."

Garirhe smiled and pointed to the droid, he grunt saying that he would come only if the GE3 can come with him, it was easy to understand, The Wookie wasn't going anywhere without his droid.

Between the Wookie, the Droid, and the Ape stood a Gamorrean.

Standard policy for the Cantina, for some strange reason, was that Droids were not allowed within. If Malok's subordinate had to guess, it might have had something to do with the CIS that ruled the planet decades prior. They had a certain affinity for using Droids to keep the population in check. In any case, the Gamorrean would have to make an exception - the boss gave an order and the ape would be damned if he didn't come through. "Alright. Give me a moment." he began, halting in his advance inside. Turning, the subordinate reached into his utility belt.

"Here. Turn a blind eye to the Droid this once."

He then began to count our a number of rather lustrous gems. Out here in the sticks, credits meant very little. What did matter were precious stones, ingots, and other such commodities. It was the Ape's guess that he wasn't collecting all that much playing guard right now, so a fat bonus would go far. The Pig eyed the Ape...then the Droid...then the growing pile of shinies inside the Ape's hand...before giving an oink of approval.

"Pleasure doing business with ya. You two, with me. Stick close."

With that said, Malok's subordinate would lead the two inside the Cantina before motioning to his commander's booth. There would be more than enough room for the Wookie and his Droid to sit down; for the booth was already ape-friendly.

Commander Firestorm

ARC Trooper Out of Time, Commander of the Unbroken
Back on board the Unbroken, the crew had detected the Initium in hyperspace on its way to Tatooine, the crew filed the ship in its archives as its duty to the Galactic Republic. The Venator-Class Star Destroyer remained in its position with its shields raised and weapons on alert in case of an attack by a hostile ship.

Back in the cantina, Firestorm watched as the wookie and droid he was looking for were escorted to a booth. He remained in his seat and observed from beneath his helmet.

[member="Malok"] [member="Garirhe"] [member="Avedia Lacroix"]

Garirhe and C6 follow the big Ape to a special booth, it was big and spacious, perfect for a Wookie, Garirhe left his Bowcaster and Ryyk blade aside and took seat, he look at the commander it was bigger probably taller than Garirhe, he never saw someone like him, the Wookie look at the droid and nodded

"Good morning sir, I'm C6-E3 a protocol Droid of the GE3 Series, I'm going to translate everything my partner says"

[member="Malok"] / [member="Commander Firestorm"] / [member="Avedia Lacroix"]

Now the opportunity presented itself to evaluate the barkeep's intel up-close. Malok set his amber gaze upon the Wookie, giving the man a quick once over. It did not appear as though he had a number of grievous scars, nor any obvious disabilities. The way he approached was normal - no limps or anything of that sort. The Commander was unfamiliar with Wookie age or anatomy, so he did not dare estimate his age. However, at a glance, the barkeep's intel seemed to have potential. Immense potential, if Malok was being honest. A mere Human couldn't keep up with a Ma'alkerrite, and by the same token a Wookie.

"Welcome, both of you." he began, raising his glass to to acknowledge them. "My name is Malok. I am the Commander of a PMC called ApeX."

He punctuated his words with a brief sip.

"It seems you are in a spot of trouble, if I heard correctly and I might be able to help you."

The glass was set down with a light thud.

"However, getting you from Point A to B is a temporary fix. Tape on a gaping hole if you will. What I would like to offer you is a consistent solution: one that will put that bowcaster of yours to good use."

Malok then looked the man in the eye.

"Join us. Fight alongside us. You'll earn yourself a hefty, consistent sum and brotherhood for a lifetime."

[member="Garirhe"]

Garirhe listen careful to what the Ma'alkerrite said, he had a point getting out of Tatooine was just a temporary solution, he didn't have credits to buy a new ship, the Wookie put the Bowcaster and the Ryyk Blade in the table so the Ape-man could look at them a little closer, he then grunted and the droid translated

"My name is Garirhe, and we're interesting in your offer, those weapons on the table were crafted by none other than me, but I must confess that I never shot anyone, those weapons where use for hunting purposes"

He make a pause and let the commander examine the weapons

"I would like to add that my partner is more of a pilot than a fighter, last thing we were doing before crashing here was working as merchants" Said the droid Garirhe didn't say anything because it was the truth

Commander Firestorm

ARC Trooper Out of Time, Commander of the Unbroken
A thief tried to sneak up behind Firestorm as he sat in his seat. The thief didn't know that Firestorm was force sensitive, just as the thief raised a knife to stab Firestorm in the neck, Firestorm turned around while drawing one of his pistols and blasted the thief. He fell to the ground with a thud, Firestorm just casually turned back around and took off his helmet and took a swig of the drink he had bought. Once he finished his drink, he put his helmet back on and continued to observe, not caring what anyone thought about the dead body on the ground.

[member="Garirhe"] [member="Malok"] [member="Avedia Lacroix"]

Hmm...

While the Behemoth had a more immediate need for soldiers, other crafts always had immense value. His gaze settled upon the weapons hand-made by the Wookie, but he did not touch them. It was not a matter of distrust or disrespect, of course - Malok simply did not want to accidentally damage valued property that did not belong to him. However, even with a glance, he could discern the quality of the work. [member="Garirhe"] was good at what he did, that was form damn sure.

"A pilot, you say?" Malok said, his tone calculating. "Well, that's certainly a position of value within ApeX as well. After all, without good pilots, we aren't getting boots on the ground at all."

He leaned in, inspecting the Ryyk Blade a little closer.

"I can't promise that your ship won't be shot at, but, if your skills lie outside of combat, then we'll accommodate. The offer stands: Join us, put those skills to good use, and get paid doing it."

Thud!

Malok's head snapped up. His men tensed. Hands immediately flew to waists...a man laid dead on the cantina floor, blown away by an armored fellow. "Just another day in Tatooine..." came the Behemoth's muttered response.

Firestorm turned and looked down at the body, he then lifted it up with the Force and and flung it out the doorway of the Cantina. The body landed sprawled out in the alleyway next to the cantina. He remained seated and started wiping down the muzzle of the blaster he had just fired with a cloth. When he finished the blaster had a pristine, polished look to it. He placed the blaster back in its holster and relaxed in his seat, the occasional flow of force lightning could be seen flowing between his fingers as he held his hands close together.

(OOC: Character is balanced in his force abilities, allowing him to use force abilities of both the Dark Side and the Light without becoming subject to the corruption of the Dark Side.)

The Wookie listen to the word of the Ape man and was ready to accept, but the droid stop him

"Before you grunt anything, I beg you to think carefully about this, I know it's a big opportunity and you always dream to explore the galaxy and have adventures, but we're talking about a PMC you're not train in any ways as a soldier and the reason why we're stranded here is because the shot down or freighter, just think about it our life is going to be in risk constantly"

Garirhe said nothing, the droid was right, but it was a now or never situation, who knows how much time they're going to stay in this planet, he look at the commander and grunted, C6 translated

"My Droid companion is right, before anything I want to know against what are we going to fight, if there is any possibility to be trained as a Soldier and if there is a space for my droid, I'm not leaving this place without him"

[member="Commander Firestorm"] / [member="Malok"]

The Behemoth grunted.

It was not an expression of negativity, but rather the opposite. The Droid, despite its simple appearance, was not a fool. Rather, it wanted to make absolutely certain that its owner was not signing a death warrant. Malok could understand that, of course. Malok respected that.

"To answer your question, our clients vary."

"Some of our members never see excessive combat and are paid simply to provide security for a location or asset. However, the majority of us participate in direct military assistance. Whether it is against Pirates or aiding a nation in a bonafide offensive depends on the day. So, at minimum, one won't fight at all. At maximum? One could be on the frontlines of the Galaxy's next largest conflict. Of course, in your case, providing air transit and support will see less danger come your way."

"Significantly so."

"As for training, we have a facility on Honoghr specifically for elevating your abilities. From general combat to aviation, we can and will see you improve. And, regardless of where you go within ApeX, there will always be room for you, your belongings, and your companion."

At this moment, Malok extended his hand.

"So, what say you? Will you join us?"
