Strange Lands

[Matsu Ike]

The harlequin was moving through space. This had been a long time coming and the jedi master remained for the time on the meditation deck. She was observing and using the force to guide the meditation ship forward along the course that had been given to them. With the advanced AI's that would be calculate and account for drift within the several hundred years. More time had passed though and with corvus they had explored what had happened. Ancient jedi tracking something in deep space at the edge of the galaxy, it appearing and disappearing before anything could be done throughout several centuries. The path across Ossus and tython with the information had been laid out and then.....

She had been having to work with Lilla, they had gone after the components to well decipher the star maps. Ciphers for archaic codes that had been used to encrypt the information that had taken them against symbiotes and through several worlds of the hellhoop. THe two fo them had been working on it and with the information that the jedi were able to gather alonfg with some artifacts. It gave them a better idea of what was processed. She had designed it to work that way and they were heading off as the information from Sorel was coming to them. Different jedi had given her some ideas though as well as others like [member="Domino"] who helped a great deal. Sorel had also come a long way in helping her master and colleague.

The thought of the friends she had lost and what was going on with them was hard as she sat there allowing her thoughts to drift around. She focused the force itself as the ship came out of hyperspace. The vast expanse of darkness between the two galaxies was shorter then most saw or could travel. It helped that seeder ships had been in operation for years now, the Saratai AI and colonization ships sent out here so they were going to be able to use those beacons and information to properly move. Something was there looming in the distance, she could feel it and opened herself up to it more. The influence wasn't there but something of a presence at the edge of the galaxy, something older that was aware of her but it didn't seem focused yet.

With [member="Maple Harte"] they had faced Kanzer and ancient beings within the force. A shudder came to her though while she thought about it and the ancient danger's of the codex that Rave had reassembled.. that she had translated and given copies of to different people across the galaxy. It had helped them recover and scatter through pocket dimensions the remaining pages to stop it being used and recreated. Summoning force gods from the depths of space itself. SHe could feel it out though while searching and had invited others who wished to come with them. Using the information as it came over the screen in displays with the codex being translated, information about things older and more dangerous.... beings who came before and.....

"Interesting." She said it bringing up the information the AI was displaying along with the course and scans from long range sensors and seeder ships. The monoliths across the galaxy were ancient and they had been working in the rift to enter them without the warping gate.. or at least seeing if they could get through it without the warping gate. She wasn't certain about the team who would be here though opening the observation room doors and walking around as her long hair was trailing slightly behind herself, kimono styled robes formed and proper with sabers on her hip. "This is where the fun shall begin." The smile appeared on herface though while she was going over a dozen things that they might be able to do in her mind.

Being a Jedi who values knowledge and is always interested in exploration, Reggie immediately accepted the invitation from Matsu Ike. More importantly, an invitation was sent out for a dangerous mission. The Padawan was always willing to help, putting whatever he was doing down to assist those who asked for it. Besides, working with Master Ike was a privilege for the young man. Working with other Jedi always helped Reggie learn and grow, always finding something to improve about himself while working with the different variety of skilled Jedi. He would need to continue to grow if he was going to protect and teach others like he feels the need to do. There are many dangers in the galaxy and he needs to grow in order to face them himself, while also protecting others from those different dangers.

This wasn't about him learning or growing though. Right now, his focus was on doing what he could to assist Master Ike. The Padawan had both of his knees on the floor, meditating and clearing his mind as they traveled to their destination. He wore his Jedi robes, his lightsaber hilt clipped onto his belt, and his staff resting against the wall.

The jedi who had joined her brought the jedi masters attention towards him. Heading out here the world was being set up... the ship approaching and finding the center of the monolith as she held out a hand searching. "THese things are tricky." She said it but held out reaching with the force to find the gateway. A barrier that she had found in the rift that responded to the force and required it to open the pathway into the monolith itself. She reached out with the force and the doors of the monolith started to open. Black metal or stone that looked seamless almost, red crystals that had been set up. The ship starting to head in as the light itself was there like a blinding wall the jedi master could fel with the force pulsating all around them. "Be careful and we shall see what skills you have learned jedi Faayare."

I'd heard tell of Master Ike's...proclivities towards intrigue and ruins...While not something I was agaisnt I'd not worked with her before. Then again I hadn't worked with many Jedi since The Malachor incident.... I'd come along to potentially see about strengthening my connection to The Force. Seemed there was a youngling tagging along too.... I'd been meditating in a seated lotus stance. I favored moving meditation and as I'd been meditating I'd been cleaning and re-assembling my blaster pistol. As I sat there I felt....a sense of just overwhelming energy.... Seemed we were heading into unknowns.....

Reggie had gotten up and joined Master Ike when the ship approached the monolith. He watched as she reached out with the force, and was intrigued when the doors started to open. As the ship traveled into the structure, Reggie could feel something through the force that he couldn't quite place. It felt like an overabundance of energy when he reached out with the force, the Padawan lost in thought as he tried to pinpoint what it could be without much success. This was something he'd never felt before.

The Padawan almost missed the words that came from Master Ike as he was lost in thought. He would show what he's learned since the last time they met, but he would also be cautious and focus on what was ahead while traveling the unknown.

The jedi master bowed her head as the ship was heading inside and the spirit spoke a pale apparition appearing as she moved around speaking. "Master, the force is wild here and unchecked... something has also been here recently then the records might indicate." That raised the jedi masters eyebrow as they were incoming and the grey stoned citadel in the distance was the place to land. THe golden ship shifted along the surface as it touched down and the jedi master observed what she could. Motioning for the two jedi to follow her as weaving around the bridge it went to the lift and down to an open doorway. Magda was tall compared to most so it towered over but the ramp leading down. As the doors opened though she could feel it, wild force energies much like in chiloon or the rift... energy that was contained and controlled long before most understood. "We'll investigate here first and then see if we need to head down."

Reggie followed Master Ike as they were about to head outside the ship. The force energy he felt before was even stronger now that the doors were opened, almost overwhelming and wild. The flames of desire started to spark within him, his interest to learn about this place and what he was feeling increasing. It was like the first time he had been taken off Tatooine, having no knowledge at all of anything outside the planet.

Even with these feelings, he couldn't help but feel a bit anxious. Whatever was here was unknown to him and therefore dangerous. He listened as Master Ike said they'd investigate the area.

"Sounds like a plan."

The Padawan began walking out the ship to begin exploring. He would listen for Master Ike though, waiting for any orders that she may have for him.

She gave a nod and standing there on Mortis it had changed mostly... the trees were pale white and glowing in the twilight but everything felt natural. THe jedi master was looking around at all of it... taking in the sense of power that radiated in the plants themselves. She knelt down scanning one and then touching it with her hand as the leaves responded to her. "It is beautiful, these are like some of the plants we had in the jedi temple for a time, no one really knew where the trees came from." She also knew from the histories and holocrons that information among force sects talked about this monolith and what had been here. "THere are tens of thousands of years of history mentioning or depicting the monolith with its residents."

Reggie searched his surroundings, intrigued by the plant life around them. He made sure to stay in hearing distance of Master Ike, so he listened as she spoke about the plants and the monolith. The Padawan never heard of the monolith until recently, which led him to accompanying Master Ike here. He was interested in what else he could learn about it.

"What kind of people resided here?"

He asked Master Ike this question after hearing about the history mentioning the monolith's residents. He was interested in what type of connection the people had with the monolith.

"Legends... myths... gods maybe." She had dived into the research from temples and the holocrons finding what little information she could and piecing it together. Using what information her family had acquired from scrolls with the spirits... literaly force gods who could do impossibly powerful things and they amused themselves with some of the jedi mostly just talking with them. THen there was Domino in the kingdom of dreams where they had been able to find the thoughts and memories of the ancient jedi and cosmic force. Different jedi across the galaxy being visited by beings who were more powerful then any could imagine. "In jedi history there were three beings who came from the stars each an aspect of the force. The brother who was the ultimate avatar of the darkside... the sister who was life itself and the light and the father who balanced the two. The jedi fought the Mother Abeloth." She said it and looked towards the citadel itself when she motioned for Reggie. "They have been gone for some time and I do not know what we might find inside. If there is danger real danger or something comes after us. Get back to the ship."

What Reggie was hearing from Master Ike took him by surprise a bit. The idea that deity like beings or at least what we would perceive as such residing here wasn't the answer he was expecting. He listened with interest as Master Ike spoke of the beings that were aspects of the force, never hearing or reading about such beings. This Jedi history he was amazing to someone with a desire for knowledge like himself.

The Padawan moved up closer to Master Ike as he saw her motioned for him. He took the Master's words with seriousness, understanding that this would be unlike anything he has done before and could be terribly dangerous.

She looked at him and leading the way forward the two of them should be able to make it in. MOrtis was a wonder and she was glad about one thing.... there didn't seem to be anything left behind for the moment. THat could be beneficial to them as the jedi master herself approached the massive doors of the citadel itself. Everything seemed taller and massive then was needed. Even the images of the ones showed them humanoid... perhaps a little thinner and taller but not as giants... though for her most were larger as she was smaller then majority of jedi masters. She was looking at a few areas so they could search around. She reached out opening the doors with the stone scraping against the stone when she motioned for him to help try and pry them open.
