Character
In one of the massive courtyards using the jedi archives she was able to find access various saber forms, deciding to go up the line to improve she began with form I as it was the basic foundation of all saber combat and from there everything else branched out. She'd known the form but wanted to grow in skill with it. Teachers were sparse now the jedi it seems were ready to face so much but the students like her struggled to find teachers. So now she had to teach herself.
Several Training droids were active designed for younglings and padawans alike to improve by having a none lethal but still active foe that could adapt and change up so they learned to stay thinking and did not develop patterns. As she listened to one of the old holocrons explain the finer points of the form she worked on deflecting bolts and striking out against the barriers each had.
"Every teaching has a foundation, with that foundation you can build a fortress or a palace for anything but it all begins with the ground work." The holocrons recording spoke. A jedi master speaking as if to the actual padawan.
"Shii-Cho is not best suited for facing duels but it allows one to appreciate Makashi's accuracy and precision, to master form one is to master the foundation of all saber combat. This is something most do not do and so they always are lacking a little something in the end. " As she continued she kept letting the droids get better not limiting their adaptive movements. One barrage was blocked but the next one bolt hit her and she hissed and cursed in pain. It was not lethal or truly harmful just painful briefly. The pain left as suddenly as it came. Resetting she prepped to begin again.
As she followed the droids she focused on their movements shifts in the force letting it guide her. Each droid moved slowly then suddenly all of them fired causing her to block several only to get hit twice and fall over. Breathing a bit harshly she slowly stood up and began again. She knew this would take hours a day of training to grow in it but it was worth it.
