Public Strike Hard, Strike Fast (Underground and similar)

For Light and Life was a good way to live.

But for Jared? It was for the Revolution.

The galaxy was changing. The edges of a map filled in. And it wasn't always for the best. Jared was an Outer Rim immigrant. Born to Corellia but calling the Rim home. His father was able to give him some support but it wasn't all that he needed.

His father was aging. And the Underground was needed now more than ever. It was what attracted Jared towards the Tingel Arm Coalition. They were ready to fight. And that was why the call came out from that region of the galaxy.

Standing on the deck of the FarStar style corvette, he was instructing at least his team.

"We will be launching from the Aerie while the two escort frigates will start striking at the pirate vessels. Boarding parties are going to be heading to the main galleon." He motioned to his BD units hologram as it showed the large treasure galleon. "Our inside man has clues of some extra tech and credits inside we can take. And Comet Team, you're going to take to their carrier. They're on their way back from a raid. But we can use that for our own missions."

The team of Underground troops from Laekia raised their rifles as they stepped to their LAAT. Jared and his small flight of four E-Wing Strike fighters started boarding their ships.

Simple Smash and Grab raid. Unknown number of pirate vessels. At least one treasure galleon. And other ships to be taken. Some have been striking at planets in the Tingel Arm. Calls to all militias amendable to the cause of building a fighting force to take down the Sith and Imperials were contacted before launching to the ambush spot.

Back against her seat in the LAAT, blaster rifle was across her lap.

Why was the old redhead here? Delila didn't quite know herself. Credits were a good motivator. Boredom was too in a way ; not that she was ever bored in her life, something was always giving her trouble. More of a way to prove to herself she still had it. That she still was that Rebel Alliance General from a lifetime ago.

Scared of aging? Not really. More testing her limits.

Besides, she and Xin Boa Xin Boa had personally stolen their home - a freighter known as the Saegassum. Delila was well versed in starship theft at this point. Why not combine previous knowledge with a need for credits to make one job? Granted she had to work for Jedi but that could be ignored. The high chance of using her explosives knowledge and bringing down something was the bright spot in all this. She hadn't set off a good explosive device in well over five years at this point.

The LAAT banked sharply, some young kid threw up immediately. She hoped the girl's stomach could handle a battle better than the g-forces at play.

Jared was more than happy to be back fighting. He had his father to live up to and while he was in the Underground? It sent him around the galaxy at large. Letting him learn and see, and spy. He was never a full fledged Jedi, never one of the ones who were going to always stand as a Jedi. He’d stand for good, sure, but moreover, he was willing to use what tools came to him. What techniques were given to him, and what he was willing to do.

As his E-Wing was lifting up from the deck, he saw the LAAT for the Comet Squadron was picking up. He was going to join them, but the first thing he had to do, was scatter some of the fighters and prevent the others from launching. As his E-Wing leapt from the floor, he and his wingman, a Sullustan pilot, the son of one who flew with his father, were making a bee-line for the galleon’s hangar doors. They were going to keep those open.

“Okay, got the targets, Makos 3 and 4, keep our skies clear. Comet, get ready!”

There was a small rock of the LAAT as it was jostled by a little turbulence. Ears strained ; there was no sound of lasers or explosives yet. She could hear the crackle of the comm and the tension in the air. They were getting ready to hit the ground at any moment. Doors to the LAAT opened, seeing the streaking E-wings passing by them.

Suppression fire?

“Okay, got the targets, Makos 3 and 4, keep our skies clear. Comet, get ready!”

Yep, the comm confirmed it, suppression fire.

Wind whipped through the LAAT as they got ready to bail. Dells grabbed her blaster rifle, tightly gripping the weapon. It was hers from ages ago but it still got the job done. With the LAAT lurching to a massive halt, it was their signal to leave. There were eight of them in total, it was time to fan out and board the pirate carrier.

Time would tell if the carrier had the rumored spoils. If not the assignment was clear ; take what they could find. For her, that meant the possibility of even stealing the carrier itself.
