Striking from the Shadows (Petra Cavataio)

Lord Ajihad was a long way from home, to say the least. He had just recently arrived on Dathomir, and was already intrigued by the planet. He knew there would be much to explore there, and many beasts to kill. But main reason he was there was for one thing, to train.

He was an assassin, an assassin who wished to become an absolute expert at striking from the shadows. He would learn how to kill without detection, and many other things that would make him superior to the other Sith. He entered a dark clearing with an eerie glow, ready to begin his no-doubt rigorous training.

Normally there was a show that was put on with outsiders. However this time, Petra just took the lead over her scouting parties and did the job with no shadow or mist walking. It was the simple walking up to the outsider in the clearing. If she wanted to show boat, then a clearing would have been a great place to do it. Coming forth, her tone was not rude or cold, but it was not friendly either. “What do you seek in the land of Witches, child?”

The Demon's Fist turned around to regard [member="Petra Cavataio"] with interest. His cybernetic eye spun around, examining the scouting party she had brought with her. After determining that none were just about to kill him, he spoke. "I walk these lands to learn the way of the assassin. I wish to strike from the shadows, and vanish with a flash. I wish for my opponents to fall before me, whoever they may be. Can you teach me?"

Dismissing the scouts to continue on with their job, Petra examined the man before her. Then two simple questions came. “What do you claim yourself to be among the force teachings? And why seek the Witches for such knowledge?”

"Among the teachings of the force, I am a Dark Jedi. I seek out the witches because they posess knowledge of certain... abilities that no one else could teach me. Will you instruct me in the ways of the assassin?"

Petra moved closer to the man. She leaned forward and sniffed to the right of him then to the left of him. Returning to an upright position, a wicked grin formed by her lips before speaking. “We have dealt with Sith and training their people in many ways… yet they never learn the true ways. How does one smelling of Sith and is a darksider of the force different from the actually Sith?”

He glanced at the woman, not entirely surprised that she found out he was a member of the One Sith. Although she walked around him, examining him, he stood still and looked forward. His expression betrayed nothing. "Before you accuse me of being a Sith, I must first ask in what context you speak. I do serve the Dark Lord, and I do look out for the Sith. However, I am more of a... wildcard. Technically, yes, I am Sith. Truly, my chains are much more loose than that of a pure Sith."

Chuckling at the start of his remarks, it was a bit amusing. Although she did not like the piece of his words that were spoken to her. So she came back with her remarks which were a little sharp and pointed. “You might reek of Sith but you aren’t one of them. You are just their slave. A killer chained to the will of the Sith order in whatever form it has taken this day and age.”

There was a pause made because Petra was once a Sith in a life that was forgotten with time. Then she change her course to thing that she knew the witches had that others had forgotten. “Now the shadow… there is no Master and slave, light and dark, Jedi and Sith. There is only what is seen and unseen, known and unknown. That is the realm of shadows… the unseen and unknown. Are you one that wishes to be unseen and unknown?

With a cocky and airily confident tone of voice, he spoke to the witch before him. "No, I do not simply wish to be unseen and unknown. I will be useen and unknown. My residence will be the realm of shadows. Nothing will stop me. And you, a witch of Dathomir, will help me." He knew it was a gamble to speak in this tone to a witch, but he was the type who always liked to display confidence, no matter the situation.
