OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Settled around 400BBY by people fleeing the Corporate Sector, Suarbi 7/5 was small for a long time, primarily an independent mining colony not worth the attention of the larger guilds. Instead, solo and small firms began staking claims to different asteroids. Eventually, over time, various homesteaders and farmers spread across the primary moon, although the bulk of the growth focused on Yumfla.
During the Clone Wars, they were neutral, except for the establishment of the Jensaarai. During the Galactic Civil War, they were administered by an Imperial governor. After the fall of the empire, rogue moff-turned-pirate Leonia Tavira murdered the governor and used her ship to take control of the Suarbi system until she was ousted by the combined efforts of Luke Skywalker, Kyle Katarn, and the no-longer-blackmailed Jensaarai.
Afterward, Susevfi joined the New Republic, represented by several Caamassi and even housing the Caamassi Remnant for a time after Palpatine's galactic empire destroyed their world. They built up after that, avoiding the worst of the First Order crisis and being spared the bulk of the damage wreaked by the Vong invasion. But with the gulag plague, the population dropped considerable, with only a fraction surviving, and most of the orbital arrays left abandoned to sometimes crash into the sea.
It was a long dark time for the moon, even with the aid of the crippled Jensaarai trying to keep things together. But in time, that too passed, and the moon slowly recovered. As it was rebuilding, it first became part of the Omega Protectorate, ranking moderately high on its priority list, given its manufacturing and resources. In that time, Susevfi restructured itself is a bicameral federal republic, with various regional states scattered across the moon. With the folding of the Protectorate, however, Susevfi joined the original post-Gulag Galactic Alliance, helping take the war against the One Sith, especially after Sith murdered then-president Elenan Bal'yin. The mining facilities and production were greatly increased to help fuel the GA war machine based in nearby Sullust, continuing through even until the Endgame crisis and the collapse of the GA in the war against the resurgent First Order.
Newly elected president Mya Jesel then led Susevfi into the Outer Rim Coalition where they helped anchor the border until the mutual dissolution of the Outer Planet Alliance. Finding themselves alone in a galaxy teetering on the edge of total war again, Mya Jesel and the members of the legislature realized they wouldn't be able to stand alone. They started reaching out to old allies, re-establishing relations, and working together, until eventually, they drafted the Charter of the Rimward Trade League and helped persuade the neighboring systems to join them.

- Planet(s) Chosen: Susevfi
- Name of the Government: Suarbi System Republic
- Relationship With Overlord: Founding Member of the Rimward Trade League
- Type of Government: Federal Republic
- Symbol: A large central circle, representing a gas giant, ringed by thirteen smaller circles, representing the moons.
- Role: Founding Member & Capital System
- Leadership: Mya Jesel
- Capital: Yumfla
- Notable Assets:
- Important Members:
- Mya Jesel, president
- Government Stability: High
- Wealth: Medium- The Suarbi System Republic might be best considered a "blue collar" republic. The bulk of its economy is based on mining, industry, and other resource-production jobs, accentuated by a thriving mercantile culture focused on interstellar trade and exports. While white collar jobs do exist, the corporate-style economy seen in the Core and on planets hosting galactic-level super-corporations does not exist, at least partially due to the original settlers fleeing the Corporate Sector. As such, wealth is fairly decentralized throughout the system, rather than the integrated economies that cause massive wealth consolidation.
- Freedom & Oppression: All told, the Suarbi System Republic has a very high level of freedom, even when compared to governments like the old Galactic Republic. Slavery is outlawed, as well as your normal crimes, but spice is legal, albeit regulated and taxed for social services, and so are most recreational drugs. Droids that meet the standards of sentience are also recognized as being sentient, with all rights and privileges thereof. Law enforcement is bound by law to respect the rights of individuals and is generally pretty laid back, focusing primarily on violent and organized crime.
- Imports:
- Luxury goods
- Specialty Manufactured Materials
- Non-local foodstuffs
- Exports:
- Raw ores
- Manufactured goods
- Tibanna gas
- Foodstuffs
- Light starships
- Small arms
- Assorted Trade Goods
- Military Strength Rating: Medium
- Military Force Name: Suarbi Republic Defense Forces
- Military Force: It has a well-developed defense force, primarily for defensive operations, but with the influence of the Omega Protectorate, the previous Galactic Alliance, and then the Outer Rim Coalition, the experiences and training have broadened to cover a wide array of operational missions reliant on a standing, professional defense force.
- Military Role: They are primarily focused on preventing invasions, but with the influence of previous governments, have also transitioned into a mobile force capable of operating beyond the system's borders. Given the spread out nature of the system, and the various orbital installations ranging from asteroid mining claims to manufacturing stations, the Defense Forces tend to operate as space marines, working in close connection with fleet-based elements, prioritizing mobility and quick action.
- Military Installations:
- Golan III
- Golan II
- Asteroid Bases
- HVs-2 Hypervelocity Gun (Twenty klicks from Yumfla)
- SLD-26 Shield Generator (Yumfla)
