Planet Bonadan

The planet of Bonadan. Nothing really remarkable about it, except somehow... it had been mysteriously packed with all Santhe Corporations assets of Lienna. Reports were vague, but seemingly before he took control of Santhe there had been a... situation? Aken Bosh, former Admiral of the Sith Empire, had randomly decided to steal all Santhe factories, somehow bypassing the laws of ratio and logic.

Security forces, turrets and other details were magically ignored and everything taken away to some factory in Bonadan. Said factory was affiliated to one Circe Savan, what made all those affairs even stranger was the fact that Bosh was previously not affiliated with Subach. It seemed the man had decided, quite randomly, to violate the law without any motivation.

If Jared was in any way paranoid, genre savvy or prone to breaking the fourth wall, he might have suspected foul play and a certain lack of respect towards the finer aspects of the magical art called roleplaying. But sadly, he was just a simple Force Master in a simple corporate world. Plot convenience was not a word in his dictionary.

At any rate, today would be the day. The day justice would be served and equipment returned to its owner. He was not sure what he would find there, but going off the official words, it seemed Subach was not -officially- affiliated with the factories that were housing his assets now. So there should not be gigantic armies of droids, self-destructing warehouses or overpowered mecha's guarding the manufacturing plants.

Then again, they -were- talking about one Circe Savan, who knew what she would come up with to save her backside this time?

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are strictly here to take my stuff back. No civilian casualties, but if someone shoots you shoot back. We are not going in guns blazing, because we have Justice behind us. Mad shooting frenzies will be restricted to the next threa-- I mean, what? Anyway, any questions or suggestions?”

"The last time someone tried to show Subach what a consequence felt like, Subach blew everything up -- everything -- rather than let it be retaken. We can't have that, so we need to kill all their suicide systems. My first thought is that we cram a few Wasp-B heavy cruisers, the ones that trade all turbolasers for ion cannons, into a couple of big Connestoga container transports. Get a convoy going, some Tempus Ardet bulk freighters that can land on the surface. We get to Bonadan, the Wasps come out...and we perform a Base Delta Zero, but with ion cannons. Neutralize the entire surface of the planet. Experts assure me that would put all the reactors into safe shutdown and prevent any kind of suicide overload. Then @[member="Moira Skaldi"] and I, and our associates, land and handle any opposition in person. Fringe has those nice new electronic warfare ships to keep external signals from reaching the planet, too.

"Bosch wrecked the economy of an ecumenopolis, trashed Santhe's headquarters world, in order to screw the Republic. He salted the earth, and the only one that benefits is Subach. Let's make this go away."

It was a sweet, sweet day when a Merrill chose to invite her along on a heist... raid... reclamation? Whatever this was. Kära Vi'dreya stood in the shadows, watching the situation as it took form. For a man who had just found out a whole planet's worth of factories - his factories - had been uprooted and moved, he took a very laid back approach, in fact he was barely breaking a sweat. She supposed that came with the composed nature of a sure-minded Force Master such as Jared. Besides, with the team he had assembled onboard? Well there was really very little to worry about, right? Well, that all depended upon @[member='Circe Savan'] and her level of co-operation. Kära had not seen this woman since she was a child, and wondered how much she had changed, if at all. People rarely changed in this Galaxy.

"Guns blazing isn't exactly on my list of tactics, so worry not: I shall follow your pretty little plan, Ovmar. Tell me, who else is involved in this? Surely it can't be a matter of Aken Bosh alone taking what is rightfully yours on the orders of Circe? How would that even be legitimately possible?" While she pondered on this her sights turned across to Rave Merrill. Truthfully she was closer to her brother, Jorus, but she had spent a little time with the younger sibling too... Always when Leviathans were about. Could you imagine Glitter joining a raid such as this? Ha! Either way, this was not her operation, so for now Kära slinked back into the shadows and waited...

Moira Skaldi was totally lawful...because droid! Admittedly an assassin droid created with murder as her purpose, but nonetheless lawful as a paper clip maximiser. Thus she had joined this noble venture to reclaim the lawful property of Santhe, thus serving the righteous cause of justice. For where would the Galaxy be if property rights were no longer respected?

Alright, admittedly Moira did not care about that part a great deal, though she would react most brutally if someone tried to steal Archangel's property. She gave Rave a nod as she elaborated her plan. Of course, Moira did not mind the part about Bosch wrecking the economy of an ecumenopolis. The more wanton destruction organics caused, the easier her work would be, hence why Manaan had made her as close to joyful as an assassin droid unable to feel emotion could be.

"Agreed. I am well equipped to terminate hostilities once the bombardment has taken place. Subach and Ms Savan have a history of wanton destruction of what they consider theirs out of the pettiness of a child. A pity I was not there during that Star Destroyer episode. Rationality is something she lacks," she spoke impassively as she briefly looked at the alchemist. Kerrigan had bragged incessantly about 'making a door' and thrashing Savan's droidekas and commando droids. Briefly eyes fell upon Darth Kyros, the Sith Lady she and Maelion had recently done business with. It was always good to work with rational organics who possessed plenty of resources and were willing to use them intelligently. As for the threats they were facing, they could never rule out hordes of elite mooks and droidekas suddenly being quantum tunnelled into the base. Perhaps even the random detonation of anti-matter bombs because those would totally still be lying around and easily available. Moira was, you have undoubtedly guessed it because this writer keeps saying it, impassive.

Transmitting in from a holo-array from the Pathfinder class transport she used as her flagship, the Urusai, Dangeruese Rose Arceneau's iconic profile flickered in shimmering blue light that did nothing to subdue her most prolific assets.

She was smoking a cigarillo, white smoke falling in a stream from the corner of her mouth as she listened into the encrypted transmission. Normally, the business woman would be the one to settle disputes and ease things over with drink and soft words, murmuring common sense all the while by offering decadent pleasures hard to resist. However, business was business, and in this was the opportunity to rub elbows with the bigger Desert Hulak Wraids out in the galaxy -- and momma didn't raise no fool.

Seizing opportunities that would make Arceneau Trade a galactic name is what brought the voluptuous titan maned Lorrdian raider descendant from Tatooine to a major key figure in the Outer Rim. And this woman had an eye on the Core Worlds as well as the contracts and networking she'd get from this simple transaction.

A flick of her cigar sent ashes scattering, as she promptly added, soapbox humping on the younger Merrill's key tactical suggestions, "Well now... I reckon that it be best for ya'll to move a bit more subtly than with ships embossed with the Santhe colors." she began with her iconic Southern Systems drawl, sweet and thick like Alderaanian honey.

The corner of her mouth perked up, and while the holo transmission would not transmit the flash of green in her eyes, her rather wry expression would.

"Arceneau Trade has done business up and down the Mara into Sith space for quite some time, now. My ships are a common sight as the Jawa sandcrawler caravans on Tatooine.... ain't no one gonna lift an eyebrow at Arceneau trade escorting ships of any kind into Sith territory. " her fingers lightly played with the white cigarillo between her fingers, before she brought it up to her lips, murmuring coyly, "Considering that two hundred Tempus Ardet Class Bulk Freighters are part of my merchant fleet."

She had come with @[member="Kära Vi'dreya"] just because she had nothing else to do. Also, she still considered herself as her Apprentice, so she felt like she just has to go on missions wth her. She didn't know what they were going to do there.

She stood near the Sith Lady, just thinking. Her mind was filled with thoughts like 'what is going on' and 'what should I do'. Not expecting too much from this... situation, Malificete just wore kind of athletic outfit which were suitable for camping, but also for fighting if there was need for that. His jacket was dark brown in colour and her trousers were only a bit lighter. Her boots were completely black and she even had a hat in her right hand, covered with dark green and black spots which were all about three centimetres in size. The belt which she often wore under her clothing was this time on her clothing, holding the two lightsabers of hers close to her. This time, it also held a little handblaster which she had bought from her own company.

She didn't know what was going around her, neither did she care about it. The only thing that mattered to her was currently the presence of Vi'dreya. Otherwise, she was basically helpless. The feeling she felt deep in her stomach told her there was some raiding or fighting going to happen.

He had arrived with his master, of course, yet the Ashborn had remained quiet so far; his betters were talking, and he was never one for scheeming and big words. He remained within the shadows for now, observing the others with only his fierly eyes betraying his hidden visage. Even so, for someone his size, remaining concealed was something he did not bother with. Never too far from his master should anything go awry, his arms remained crossed across his chest. Most of these people were unknown to him, but since Kära seemed to trust them, so would he. Admittedly, the talk he overheard had sparked some sense of excitement - a feeling he'd been unfamiliar with until now. Of course, he'd never show any outward feelings - truth be told, he had no idea what expression to make with most feelings. Rudimentary ones like happiness, sorrow and rage he knew well enough. But excitement, surprise or horror? He had yet to experience such emotions for himself.

An interesting band of... heroes had assembled, really they did not even need an army. They had Kyros the Ewok Killer, what more did they need? For a while he just listened to the crew, his crew. Jared's Five and maybe some more. Rave's plan had merit and if truth to be told; she probably knew more about these kind of things than he did.

Which was not really surprising, Jared had been a gang leader just a couple of years ago. It would be a few more years, before he was able to plan out entire strategies for these kind of operations. Really, that was the reason he had asked her along. Someone had to know what they were doing, really Jared was here only for the moral support and maybe some mental-asskickery.

But before he could answer Rave, Kyros began to speak. He had met her on Korriban, it was an uneventful event truth to be told. But maybe he was forgetting some parts of it, maybe they had to revisit that time and find out together...

“Legality has nothing to do with this, Lady Kyros. Sometimes people just see an opportunity and take it. Her mistake was thinking there would be no consequences for her deeds, soon she will find out what it means to invite my particular brand of justice. Soon.”
Then he looked back at his fellow Council-member, they both knew she was better at this. No sense in saying such though, sometimes it was good to keep a facade of exceptional competence. Good for the moral and all that.

“Your plan has merits, Rave. You have a go.”
Then as he finished, something else asked for his attention. Someone else, really. A projection appeared in front of them, with an interesting proposition. He had been considering what they would do -after- taking back his assets and he realized that could become a problem. A fleet of Santhe Ships? Traversing Sith Space to transport everything back to Lianna? It was a risky undertaking to say the least. As such this proposition had merit too.
“You have my.. attention, miss. We might be interested in your wares, though further investigation would be in order.”

"@[member="Danger Arceneau"]'s got a point, and a good one. Her Tempus Ardets would be the ones to use -- they're in the area, more or less. And a couple of big Connestoga container transports alone won't raise many eyebrows. Fringe has a few operating around 244Core, for when Finalities don't cut it. I'll order Wasp-B ships secured inside them for the trip to Bonadan. Connestogas only have a class four hyper, so it'll take a little while, but it'll be worth it.

"As for the ground operations, I suggest landing and air cover in open-market Koensayr Malos-class gunships, the same kind used by both the Republic and the Fringe.

"Remember, folks. We're not here to screw @[member="Circe Savan"], we're here to repossess Sienar assets without any possibility of opposition, and transport them back to Lianna for installation. The part of Bonadan's factories that belongs to Subach, we don't touch if we can avoid it, apart from the ion barrage splash. Subach had no factories on Lianna; Sienar had no factories on Bonadan. This was a rogue Imperial admiral gutting Sienar's factories and dumping them in Subach's lap. That right there is the most obvious kind of complicity you can imagine. I guarantee Circe Savan is behind all of this, one way or another."

@[member="Rave Merrill"] @[member="Jared Ovmar"] @[member="Thyrian Ashborn"] @[member="Darth Malificete"] @[member="Moira Skaldi"]

Smoke fell from Danger's lips as she spoke, the holo communication lightly breaking in faint static only to clear. "Danger, Lord Ovmar. President of Arceneau Trade Company," came her soft drawl along with a provocative twist of her lips and a soft shrug.

"Just a working girl, " the slow grin grew wider, "All too willing to help a fellow business man in need who has seen their territory absconded with. We've a saying down in the Southern Systems. The north wind knows all the cracks in a pourstone house, and between a bug and the bee martin, it ain't hard to tell which will get caught."

"If you be needing my services, I am happy to oblige." it went unsaid that while the woman was more than easy on the eyes, she had some business sense to know that this would come in her favor as well.

"I'm sure Miz. Merrill would be more than happy to vouch for my company's abilities." having worked with Silk Holdings since their start, Danger had some history with the Merrill's that proved the woman was of her word when it came to business and her practices.

Kära inclined her head respectfully towards @[member="Moira Skaldi"] - she was n individual that the Sith Lady held great respect toward. When Jared spoke she could not help but frown, it seemed he had mistaken what she meant - it was the validity of being able to uproot the factories with so few resources that bewildered her. Either way a plan was forming and she liked the direction it was being taken in.

Her gaze drifted to her left, where Lilith stood, and then her right. Her behemoth of an Apprentice, Thyrian, stood beside her as always. Only those who had seen him before would likely not recognise him in his human state. Jorus had figured it out, but she had never doubted that he wouldn't. He had spent too much time around the both of them to not recognise their mannerisms.

"Using ships which are unmarked or otherwise unnoticeable will play in our favour, Jared." Kära chimed in, with a cautious glance toward the Lord of the Fringe. She had been part of many a great plan, headed a few herself. The less the opposition could draw upon the better.

The fact of the matter was that Jared -had- understood Kyros's original question. But simply neglected to answer it directly. The reason for that was simple, Jared did not have an answer. By the simple laws of physics, Aken should not have been able to do what he had done, even if he had been helped by Circe. Everything about this baffled Jared, Lightsabres, the Force, Giant Armored Krayt Dragons... he could accept all of the former.

But this was simply above his pay-grade. Maybe the legendary Velok Stormcaller would have had an answer, but even he was now dust in the wind.

Again Jared listened to Rave and again he had to agree with her assessment, they were mostly in lines with what he had thought previously anyway. As such the course of action was simple. Acceptance. A nod and a gentle touch of the Force simply to reaffirm his trust in her and then a word.

“Agreed. Let us do this then.”
His gaze was pulled back to the projection of... Danger. Beautiful she was, but there was a time for play and a time for work. This was a time of work, at least Jared assumed there would be no time for some quality-time over the projector. Not with all hell breaking loose in a matter of... not very long. As such he just smiled one of his smiles.
“Miss Danger. I think we can come to an agreement, maybe after this whole affair is over we can.. talk? Business-related of course, otherwise I would not be able to deduct my spending.”
And there would be spending.

@[member="Jared Ovmar"]

"Oh I'm sure Lord Ovmar, we can come to ... a mutually beneficial agreement that would sate both parties," one would wonder just what exactly she meant by that, for the play of words certainly painted some interesting... possibilities. One never knew with Danger, she was a tease and knew it. But it was the chase and the prospect of a battle of wits that held charm.

And the woman had an affinity to provide comfort to the most weary of businessmen. She was the perfect hostess, be it in company, food, beverage, and entertainment. All ventures were lucrative for parties involved with Arceneau, she had a head for business and knew exactly just what would bring in valuable commodities.

"With coordinates, I be more than willin' to send a convoy of the Tempus Ardents for you disposal....savvy?"

@[member="Kära Vi'dreya"] @[member="Jared Ovmar"] @[member="Danger Arceneau"] @[member="Darth Malificete"] @[member="Thyrian Ashborn"] @[member="Moira Skaldi"]

"All right then, ladies and gentlemen. Let's get villainous."

Rave's fingers blurred on her datapad. "Miz Arceneau, you've got the coordinates inbound. As for timing, I'm estimating four days to get our Connestogas' special cargo to Bonadan. The Wasp-B isn't a primary warship; it's easily reassigned. In four days, Miz Arceneau, meet us in the Bonadan system. At that point, the ion barrage will commence, we'll neutralize every factory, and then the Tempus Ardets will transport the factory gear to Lianna."

She stood. "Ladies, gentlemen, I'll see you all at Bonadan four days from now."

Moira likewise arose now that the discussion was complete, in which this writer did not say much because so many threads. Anyway, she had some preparations to attend to.

"I shall be there. A pleasure working with you again, Ms Merrill, Lady Kyros," she spoke softly, giving Jared Ovmar a curt nod. She was speaking in what was probably her most 'human' voice, which she either used when she was on an infiltration mission, which was not the case here since the organics knew she was a machine, or when she came close as to 'liking' someone as she could that she bothered to talk normally.

@[member="Moira Skaldi"] @[member="Rave Merrill"] @[member="Jared Ovmar"] @[member="Kära Vi'dreya"] @[member="Thyrian Ashborn"]

"Then I reckon we got ourselves an agreement," Danger said in kind, giving a nod as her hand sent ash scattering beside her, her holo image flickering slightly.

A small beep in her data console told her the encrypted coordinates had been successfully transferred, and it was with a sugary smile the voluptuous woman gave an incline of her head again.

"Four days time in the Bonadan System it is."

BONADAN

Three immense Connestoga-class bulk freighters exited hyperspace about ten light-years from Bonadan, in the Corporate Sector. In deep space, they disgorged their cargoes: Four Wasp-B class heavy cruisers each. They spread out, then jumped to Bonadan.

Twelve heavy cruisers could make most sector fleets blink, and Bonadan had no such forces. Close to fifteen hundred capital-grade ion cannons rained down on all locations containing appropriated Sienar tech, as well as all nearby Subach-Innes facilities. The intent was to forestall any of the reactor hijinks that had cost so many lives.

The Admiralty
Four days later.

Jared looked on from his capital ship at the bombardment of the surface. It was a beautiful sight to behold, terrible but beautiful. Soon everything would be disabled down there, at least they would not be blown apart by some suicide kill switch mechanism. Jared wondered if Circe had a patent on it. “The Green Switch.”, not really a catchy name, but then again. It was a plant they were talking about. Originality did not have to be one of their strong suits.

Finally the bombs stopped dropping and it became relatively safe to land on the planet.

It seemed time itself quickened as the unruly band of misfits entered orbit, then landed and finally encountered the factories which held his equipment. It was a bit of a disappointment, nobody seemed to be defending or looking out for the millions of dollars in tech. Just laying around there... doing nothing.

Strange, but then again. The whole situation had been strange, one Admiral being able to strip a planet's worth of tech and teleport it out of Lianna like a God? If this world of stars and wars had any Moderators or other Observers, Jared would have considered filling a report against unfairness.

But sometimes life was not fair. They had been expecting a fight, some kind of adventure to offset the cheap-way the equipment had been taken. Instead they just dropped-in, took everything and were home again by dinner.

Everyone was paid, nobody got wounded, so maybe... all in all it had been not so bad?

Still Jared was not satisfied. One day a reckoning would come and on that day... Justice would reign.

OOC/ Ladies and Gentlemen, forgive me for this abrupt ending to the thread. I had been expecting some more opposition, but sadly our main attraction decided to get captured by the Mandolorians. Fear not, you will all be handsomely rewarded for your participation. More adventures will come, hopefully with more PewPew and less QQ. Jared... OUT.
