STRENGTHS
+ Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: 6's reflexes, mental capabilities, immune system, and cardio-vascular system were all modified at the genetic level, making him faster, smarter, more durable, longer-winded, and resistant to most known diseases. As an additional side effect, this causes him to look younger than he is.
+ Teräs Käsi Training: Subject 6, during his assassin training, was taught the deadly martial art Teräs Käsi, making him a worthy foe even when unarmed.
+ I'm in the Business of Knowing Things: 6's past as a spy and intelligence agent means that even after the Sundering of the First Order, he still has an expansive network of spies and informants.
WEAKNESSES
- System Shock: While most, if not all, of his cybernetics are EMP-hardened, a sufficiently powerful shock like Force Lightning can disable them, handicapping 6 considerably.
- Force: Despite all his augments, 6 has no defenses against the Force.
APPEARANCE:
Subject 6 is a well-built adult male with black hair and glowing blue cyber-eyes. His genetic augmentations have had the side-effect of making him look much younger than he actually is, and granting him an extended lifespan. Clothing-wise, he tends to wear armor-lined suits and occasionally his Shadowrunner coat. (Playby: Mr Blue Eyes from Cyberpunk 2077.)
BIOGRAPHY:
Cassander Solimar, formerly known as Subject 6 and now referred to in intelligence circles as the Shadowrunner, is an assassin augmented with a suite of implants by a secretive First Order project to create the perfect assassin. He was selected due to his health and implant-compatability, but whoever he was before the project has been wiped, both from his mind and from records.
Being identified as Subject 6 from then on, he was subjected to brutal assassin training that would've broken weaker men. He was taught how to end a man's life in a variety of ways; poisoning, how to create an "accident", and plenty of ways to kill with blasters, bullets, blades, and his bare hands. With his mind a blank slate, he soaked up this training like a sponge, becoming more deadly with each passing day. Beyond the art of death, 6 was taught how to infiltrate secure locations, effectively disguise himself behind enemy lines, slice terminals, anything a spy or assassin would find useful.
The project did not end there, however. 6 and the other agents of the program were subjected to a number of surgeries combining a variety of cybernetic implants and genetic modification, with the purpose of transforming these already formidable agents to veritably superhuman weapons of the First Order. They gained inhuman stamina, reflexes on the preternatural level, a remarkable healing factor, and immunity to most known diseases, among other things. Unknown to the Subjects, they were also implanted with Emotional Regulators from cybernetic construct headbands, made to remove any chance of remorse, fear, anger, or any other emotions from the variables when planning operations. Unique among his peers, however, was that 6 was able to overpower the Regulator's influence, though he often put on the facade so the Bureau did not grow suspicious.
For years, 6 served as an effective tool of the First Order, covertly eliminating its enemies before they could pose threats, securing classified information from enemy strongholds, whatever was needed of him. Secretly, though, even with the Emotional Regulator in place 6 was plotting his escape. When the Ssi-Ruuk invaded, in what would be called the Sundering, he saw his chance. In the ensuing chaos, 6 went dark, finally removing his Emotional Regulator completely and fading away into the shadows, taking on the alias Cassander Solimar, though when others speak of him they tend to refer to him as "Shadowrunner".
The FOSB attempted to locate him on several occasions, but their efforts have failed to turn up anything. Some believed he ran away to disappear within the massive cityscapes of Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa, others thought he may have joined up with one of the other galactic factions as a turncoat or a counterintelligence agent, and some thought he may have become an underworld information trader. Eventually, 6 settled on the last option, setting up an expansive network of spies and contacts with eyes and ears across the galaxy. His skillset attracted the attention of the Devaronian crime lord Aurelius Baldor, who recruited him to the Shadow Hand Cartel and made him his Seneschal; his confidant, bodyguard, and private assassin.
