Hi, I'd like to propose a few more post reacts to what is currently available. I apologize if this isn't the right place, tag, or if this has been discussed before as to why there are some limitations.

Not all of the below but I'd suggest the following: cthulu, cthulu blush, cthulu knife, frog sus, pannervous, panstressed, panawwwww, panbless, pandevil, pansmug

Unfortunately, I've never fallen in love with social media and it's refuse. I've also never cared to know how people feel about what I say, in any adult sense of it. Given that I'm directly responsible for this suggestion's implementation, or lack thereof, how I feel personally about this will have lasting consequences for the longevity of the merit of this suggestion. I will say I'm occasionally a emote thumper, they elicit humor, they elicit snark, they elicit as many or more emotions that we attribute in the same way we attribute emotions to a cat, a dog, anything else we attribute human emotions to.

As they carry human emotions, they carry the negative ones too. Any young boy trapped in a 30 year old man's body attempting to wage a culture war of attrition, attempting to denigrate others and obfuscate more. They hide behind these aged social heiroglyphics, these encoded images, because normal men and women writers of conscious either don't believe it's a serious notion to condemn this maligned minority. They are more likely to rally behind these tiny images, due to the childish tendencies of the terminally online, because they are not here to write but are rather here to observe images. They are not here to use words, they are here to stand on the shoulders of artists to convey their meaning. As they have neither the intellect, wisdom, nor inclination to use words in a community that lives and breathes upon the existence of written language.

Because their fields of dopamine are barren.

Lest offense be taken by the religion of Discord.

A cringe emoji or eye-roll emoji would be appropriate.

If this is in jest please ignore me...But I'd have to disagree with this.

It's a far more blatant use of the "Haha" emote or the use of "Ok" to express something disparaging rather than actually having a conversation. It can come across as passive-aggressive, dismissive, and condescending. Not everyone would use it or take it that way but...Why open that door? We all know hate reacting exists or that some less aware individuals already "react" to posts to get a rise from others.

I'm not for that. Constructive criticism is helpful and can help writers grow. This type of emote doesn't support that or community health in general.

you may string me up but i'd be in favor of removing everything but a like option

It's not a terrible idea imo. Unfortunately, I do think there are some parallels between the short-lived reactions of forums and mindless scrolling and double clicks of social media. Both provide instant gratification and cheap dopamine. And there is def the potential for negative utilization of certain reactions.
