Suggestion Box for Sith Library Forum

The Sith Library forum is empty at the moment of this post.

It's ideally for resources related to the One Sith Order exclusively (rather than faction-wide stuff that might heavily affect Force-insensitives).

I'm looking for suggestions for stuff that can be put in the forum, at this moment.

[member="Dark Apprentice"] I would go along a time based of when there was the last post. So lets say archive everything up to a month ago to keep the forums clear. then every month after that do the same. it keeps it time based so there is no discrimination against a thread.

Note: The Sith Archive has been renamed to the Sith Library.

The intention of the forum, as stated in the opening post, is for it to be a resource of information for Sith.

"Archiving" is a thing of the past. There is no need for any threads to be archived on this site as the server has yet to even approach near its maximum capacity.

I do not understand how archiving would make things neater.

Archiving was a practice developed due to the limitations provided by a forum either because of software or hardware. An example would be that a forum only permits X amount of threads before no more could be made -or- the oldest ones are deleted. Another example would be that the number of threads on a board have reached the point that the hard drive has no more memory for creating new ones.

Even today for systems that require archiving, it's normally due to the limitations of either software or hardware and how it cannot handle too much data.

SWRP has neither issues at this moment as we have not yet reached the limits of the software or hardware.

Though, archiving is not the purpose of this thread or the Sith Library. I'm interested in knowing what type of information the community would expect to see in a forum dedicated to just the Sith Order and aspects such as its hierarchy, training, general information ,etc.

I'm aiming for the R&I forum to be more general need-to-know.

Sith Library would be more specialized for Sith stuff. Which trainers are available. Basics to training. Etc. Similar to how the Republic does it.

Does that make sense? Would you still prefer having everything in the R&I?

Do that. Make a list of volunteer people who say "I can teach this and that" so people know who they can speak to if they want certain stuff.
I would also expect some sort of history in the archives. Probably because my character (just as I myself) is rather a newcomer to the Sith (and the site in general) and don't really know what happened previously, except the main timeline thing, while a lot of characters seem to know each other, have histories. Of course, I don't expect to see personal stuff in there but maybe the general events that impacted the faction.
I realize that this would probably be a lot of work for you guys, more than one person, I'd think.
