Suggestions?

Hello everyone. New guy here looking for a little advice / guidance.

I know a few of you have read my bio so they understand the background of these questions better than will be obvious from my brief summary here.

Ian is a scientist working in medical research. As I described to Ms. Vel, he’s something of an Indiana Jones that searches for exotic plants, toxins from strange animals, remote, primitive native therapies, etc, in search of the next wonder drug.

He is force sensitive and was trained as a jedi in his youth but circumstances estranged him from the jedi. I would like him to work through his “issues” through RP and advance as a jedi

Based on that…

- Is there a medical development company that would fit as “the company” he is describing in his
story? More specifically, one that would put up with him as an “employee”?

- Is there a patient Jedi Master that would put up with a recalcitrant padawan

- Is there a faction (or factions) that best fits the above career / force alignment?

Anyone interested in helping me develop this guy is welcome to read my bio and the start of the RP linked at its bottom to get a better feel for Ian.

I would consider joining the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order there. There are a number of Jedi who focus on healing and would likely jump at the opportunity to take on a student who works on medical research and we have a number of "patient masters" who would be willing to train you in a number of areas.
