What is there to say about a KX-Series Security Droid? Not terribly much. Superintendent, as he has taken to calling himself, is one of many KX-Series Security Droids manufactured by various companies who have gotten their hands on the blueprints. By sheer luck of the galaxy, Superintendent was one of the higher-end models constructed. He was outfitted with an experimental replacement for his original droid brain, as well as some other nifty upgrades: such as specialized programming suites and an advanced targeting system. After these upgrades were installed, Superintendent was tactically inserted into First Order service.
The results of the prototype upgrades were already apparent. On one hand, Superintendent seems to display heightened administrative capabilities and combat reflexes. Superintendent has become self-aware, particularly of the fact that he is a mere test vehicle for the prototypes he has been outfitted with. He occasionally transmits updates to his creators, allowing them to tweak the programming as necessary.
