So we can all have a chat.

[member="Lord Depravious"], can you point me in the direction of your factory approved "ysalamiri bubble coated cloak" that you used? I'd love to have a look at that. :)

Miriskin was a piece of cloth that was worn around the neck. It was made from the skin of an ysalamir and was claimed to be able to stop a Jedi from using their powers on the being who wore it. The miriskin was, of course, a hoax made to dupe the gullible out of their cash, since only living ysalamiri could push back the Force. Many examples of miriskin were not even made from the creatures themselves.

Hello,

Ysalamiri's skin is able to resist the force while Ysalamiri themselves are able to exude a bubble that can block out all force naturally.

Thus why when I roleplayed it I didn't say "my cloak creates a bubble around myself allowing the force to simply be dissipated." I roleplayed using the cloak's resistance to help me in the dispersion of it. I'm not sure why you seem to be taking things personally anyways, or attempting to make them personal. I'm having a fair bit of fun writing with you, i hope you are doing the same.

If you have any other questions please tag me i won't be keeping up with this topic though.

Edit: Ysalamiri Skin is resistant to the force, it can't wholly resist it.

Of course :) No, there's no personal offense taken here. Thank you for clarifying.

However, I'm inclined to agree with Darth Praelior. Can you please point me to an example of its resistance to the Force? [member="Lord Depravious"]

I love you too, you excitable, raging Nautolan. If I should ever lose the Force and bump into you again... it'll be too soon ;)

If you were to make a Venn diagram, with one circle being 'Forcey things' and the other being 'skinning things,' the overlap would be me. I've never yet found a source that suggests any physical part of a ysalamir -- no organ, no pelt, no nothing -- is responsible for their powers or retains any Force resistance or special quality.

*goes back to skinning Cthulhu again*

Alright back when I had researched it there wasn't much known about all of this. Thus when I did the research ysalamiri were only known for actually stopping the force, but not much else. Thus Miriskin was an actual thing. I'm willing to accept that it wasn't. I'll edit my post to reflect the changes.

I am going to quote myself again because this is from the wookiee itself
