How long does it take to throw up a ten second thread saying "Post campaign speeches here, topic closes is X-amount of days"

It would be kind of good to have a chancellor ready for the event. Since the interim did say he was stepping down.

As for elections... You sound pretty eager to get yourself in that position. Is that greed I sense? Hunger for power? Are we not all on the same side, as part of the Republic?

In all seriousness, elections will be done after Christmas. It was requested for me to postpone it.

There's nothing to stop hopefuls from campaigning in the Senate and building alliances to take Supreme and Vice Chancellor.

Plus in a democratic assembly, only a majority approval is required to begin the procedure of electing a Supreme Chancellor is necessary when the position is vacant (it's obvious that Philip J. Halen is only acting as the Supreme Chancellor) due to the fact that upon a Vote of No Confidence elections normally begin shortly thereafter.

Sadly, the vote never passed. Aleidis stepped down herself. As I said though, feel free to give your speeches and build whatever you like, as the elections will begin in the new year when people are off holiday.

Vacant offices in a democratic assembly are usually filled in the normal procedure as soon as possible, regardless of the method in which the office was vacated.

If by spam you mean a faction wide pm announcing elections then yes wanting the faction to participate in the things that affect them is power hungry.
