[+]Healing: Surah has proven to be proficient with healing aspects of the force. Unlike many healers in the galaxy she does not use the lightside to heal, but instead calls upon the darkside. She uses a massive amount of her own strength as well as the energies of the person she's healing in order to heal the subject. This healing process is incredibly painful, however it is far faster and more efficient than the use of the lightside. The technique extends to herself, and Surah can heal herself even in the midst of combat. Some refer to this technique as Dark Transfer.

[+]Blademaster: Surah has the knack of bladesmanship. She is incredibly good at using bladed weapons as well as lightsabers. Though she has not yet had the chance to use the latter, she presumably is just as proficient in their use. So far however Surah has proven incredibly capable of utilizing a vibroblade and other one handed weapons in order to defend herself. This has come naturally to her even though she has received no prior training.

[-/+]Abyss: Surah's mind is a complete abyss to senses of the force. It is impossible to use telepathy, mind trick, or anything of the like on her. This is both an plus and a minus. The plus side of this is that attacking her is impossible, the minus is that it makes it impossible for her to utilize any of these same tricks.

[-]No Piloting: Surah is one hundred percent entirely incapable of piloting ships, speeders, or anything of that sort. She was never taught, trained, or even shown how to do any of it. If Surah was to get into any of these vehicles and drive them she would end up crashing it every time.

[-]Stalled Potential: Though Surah shows incredibly aptitude in the force and can control it through healing and increasing the strength of her own body she finds it nearly impossible to reach into the darker depths of the Darkside. Sith Sorcery and Alchemy are completely locked away from her.

[-]Scars: Surah's body is riddled with scars from when Nemene Talith mutilated her. These scars are of course incredibly sensitive. Striking, cutting, or even touching them causes Surah quite a bit of pain, sending ebbing agony throughout her entire system.

Surah could once have been described as beautiful.

Before her press into servitude Surah was considered to be one of the most beautiful women in her tribe. She had long flowing black hair, perfectly smooth skin, and bright blue eyes that stood out in a sea of hazel and dark brown. Among the Kifar, Surah was considered a unique jewel. Beautiful, gifted in the force, and having a certain quality about her that made her more than appealing to many of the tribesman.

Unfortunately for Surah, it was not in her destiny to stay that way.

Surah on an outing with her father was captured by a pack of slavers. Like many slaves of Kiffari origins she was sold to Nemene Talith. Nemene, though enjoying having pretty things to play with, was also known to get fairly jealous. It was this jealousy, this angry bite of envy that saw Surah loose her staggering beauty.

A lingering look was all it took.

When the slave garnered more attention than the Master, the Master responded as she was want to do. Nemene took Surah, chaining her up and with meticulous care began to carve her flesh as only Nemene Talith could do. This ended with Surah's flesh scarred and broken, cracked and pink.

This is how she appears now, brightly scarred with daring Orange eyes. Flesh pink and rippling, almost pulsing with past cuts and deep wounds, a dark and brooding brand sits on the underside of her forearm.

Not many people know Surah's past, and not many people would care to find out anymore. To most she is simply a former Slave, or perhaps even less,

Everything that Surah is was born of two people, Nemene Talith and Evelynn Dorn. The two Queens of Rattatak that twisted an innocent Kiffar girl into a seemingly monstrous woman that not even her mother could love. Surah was originally born like much of her species on her homeworld of Kiffu. It was here within her tribe that Surah was raised. Like many other Kifar she was taught to fight for herself, to use her gift in psychometry and to put the tribe ahead of herself.

Most things stood no chance against Surah. She was confident, beautiful, and skilled in the arts of the force. Of course many people sought her, either for their own glory, or the love they thought they bore for her. Unfortunately for Surah, and many of the suitors she had, it was not to be so.

Events would transpire that would see Surah's life flipped on its head. She would be captured by Slavers. Her Father and half of her tribe were contracted by the Kiffu Guard to go on a scouting mission. It was during this mission that the Surah was captured, the slavers overwhelming her tribes position. Most of them were slaughtered outright, Surah however, due to her beauty was taken to be sold on the slave markets of Zygerria.

Nothing could save her, nothing could rescue her. From the point she was capture, Surah only began to suffer more and more. Her stint in slavery was a relatively short one. She was bought by Nemene Talith only days after the loss of Rattatak, taken aboard Nemene's slave fleet and used there as a servant and convenient distraction for the men that operated Nemene's ships. She was passed around, and eventually the life that had so strongly burned within her was simply beaten out of her. Expelling all hope, Surah simply lost herself. She became little more than a mindless drone, following routine day in day out. It was during one of these routines that the young girl managed to catch the ire of Nemene Talith. A lasting look, a stare from another was all that was necessary, and before she could hope to get away she was seized by the force. The next days saw the carvings of Surah's flesh as though it were simple wood. Deep cuts and flays that sliced into her skin and took the only thing that she had left, her beauty.

Everything taken from her. Surah surrendered. She became little more than a wisp of herself, a ghost. A shade that floated about the ships of the Slave Fleet, until one day, the Queens were overrun. As the slaves revolted against Nemene and Evelynn, as the twin Queens were torn and bitten apart by the thousands they had abused, Surah fled. She took from Nemene's tent what she could, trinkets and baubles to make her way, and then she ran. Yet the things she took with her would have consequences, the trinkets of a Queen of the Dark were not to be carried lightly.
