He carries himself with a healthy posture which acts in contradiction with his brooding or placid, deadpan or cold expression and narrow gaze that rests above bags below his eyes which sits as a clear reminder of toil’s past. Attire wise he’s usually seen wearing functional dress. Black pants and boots with a grey drab vest of linen on the outside with internal plasteel plating, strapped with harnesses that carry a blaster pistol, holocoms and other equipment. While in public he equips a visage of a maroon plated helmet with built in respirator and atmospheric HUD.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=8.5pt]Surnin was born into a state of abject poverty on the industrial world of Balmorra. From a young age he was forced into the labor force alongside his father. From the age of eight to eighteen he wasted the days away in intense toil and hard work until a terrorist attack was levied against the factory of his employment, a part of a long going civil war on the planet which was an attempt to secure the armament manufacturing. The conflict ended up ripping away the lives of his parents from the young Surnin and as such he jumped ship and enlisted with an Alliance military vessel where he was brought to Alliance controlled space and given regimental military training. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Devoid of any ambition or optimism the military gave the man at the very least, purpose. After completing the basic training courses he enrolled in more complex courses, the Alliance military offering him a more formal education than that of Balmorra Surnin sponged up the information before given his first assignment. At the age of twenty two he was sent deep into the outer rim to the exotic commerce world of Terminus to serve as an Alliance Arbitrator, the end point of the galaxy where the outer rim ends and wild space begins. Terminus was as bustling as it was diverse, aliens passing through from all corners of the galaxy and with this he ended up growing an intense hatred and distaste for aliens over the course of his service as an Arbitrator. Where many alien species inter-mix such comes an exchange of customs and what is acceptable, from this came a great deal of crime and ignorance for the law. Surnin’s initial drive to enforce fair and strict just eventually warped into a universal distaste for nigh anyone he interacted with on Terminus. At the age of thirty, after eight years of service he resigned from Alliance military service.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Without any personal starship or the monetary funds to leave the planet he ended up becoming one of things he despised most. A thief, and stole a holopad pertaining to the last case he was following and several thousand credits worth of illegally trafficked spice from the evidence storage. With it he was able to track down and lure the criminal known as the ‘Crimson Glare’, a Nikto spice trafficker who used Terminus as a nexus between many Outer-Rim smuggling operations. At a meeting at a derelict spaceport Surnin was able to lure the criminal into a space of vulnerability before promptly assassinating him, stealing his possessions and forsaking the deeply entrenched underbelly of Terminus for the void of space.[/SIZE]
