There was some talk in the Chat about doing a Survival Horror thread.
I dig the idea, always wanted to do a decent one. So this is the base idea, suggestions welcome. Sign Ups at the bottom. No limit to the number of folks wishing to join. Its my finals week, but I'll try 1 post a day until that's over.
Setting
An old CIS Lucrehulk Core Ship the Separatist Alliance was using as a laboratory to test/create an unknown weapon to use on the Jedi. The Hulk was spotted by spacers near Humbarine, rumored to be adrift and listing in an uninhabited system. Most noteworthy, it does not seem under power but is listing away from the system's star. A team of Rangers were dispatched upon sighting, but have not checked in since making contact with the hulk.
The Ranger Corp has yet to lock the system down, though rumors of simply destroying it have arisen if Life Sign Scans are unable to locate the missing rangers. So far the Coalition Keepers have yet to investigate, but have not prohibited its members from doing so.
Neimoidian Scientists from Neimoidia have offered a substantial reward for the station's central databanks recovery. Rumors that they know what is on board have flared up, but are unsubstantiated.
The system has a dim and dying star and only a few lifeless planetoids floating in space, however the Space Hulk is still one of the largest objects in the system. There does not appear to be a monitoring system in place, nor is there a ship watching the hulk drift within the system.
OOC
Lets keep this fairly light. No troops or the like, PC's maybe one or two named NPC's for flavor.
The Hulk has atmosphere, but is not underpower. Power to each section can be reactivated as we go. The area around the Hulk has a draining effect on ships, almost like an EMP field that gets worse the longer a ship is inside it (simple explanation for why we can't all just leave, but if you get there and then decide you would prefer to leave, by all means fix your ship and do so)
There will be a Starweird in stasis and a Withered Smoke in stasis in the main laboratory. Other nasties if you wanna mess with it, go for it.
Numerous B-1 and B-2 Battle Droids patrolling or guarding key locations, they are rundown and in a state of disrepair, but there are enough of them over all to be dangerous. Droideka and BX as the story and writers desire.
