RATIONALE
The Swoop Racing Group was a small operation, established almost a decade previous, but the previous owners lacked the financial foundation to propel the sport coverage to the next level. They were approached by GalaxiCorp, who provided them with a full buy-out of ownership, for a handsome sum. The deal was made within 24 hours, and included the subsidiary of Mobquet Swoops and Speeders, which allowed GalaxiCorp to invest in the production company to provide swoops for their purposes.
Since that acquisition, the Swoop Racing Group has held small events, mainly to test out the viability of the business model changes they implemented, and to pave the way for a larger tournament. The events were considered a financial success, which has now started the process of a larger event, which aims to make swoop racing a galactic-viewed entertainment platform.
