- Inertial Compensator w/ Emergency Impact Countermeasures intended to increase survivability in the event of a crash.
- A sealed passenger compartment allows the Swyftwhisper to travel underwater with minimal difficulty and make brief trips into a planet's upper atmosphere, with the latter being restricted more by the inherent limitations of repulsorlift technology than any flaw in the vehicle itself.
- Dancing in the Clouds: Blisteringly fast and almost as agile, the Swyftwhisper is a perfect mixture of speed and comfort further augmented by the boosters necessary to reach high altitudes, e.g., allowing them to be deployed from yachts in low orbit.
- Versatile Design: Swyftwhispers are highly modular, being suitable for use as transports for the rich, autocabs (near-ubiquitous on Erakhis), and even ambulances; certain more peaceful police departments have even refitted them to serve as patrol cruisers!
- Civilian: Hardy though it may be, the Swyftwhisper is entirely unarmed; adding weapons is possible, but as no such thing was ever intended it would require extensive retrofits above and beyond what would be reasonably worthwhile under all but the most desperate circumstances.
Using lessons learned from their Swyftbreeze Hoverbikes and the droidmaking expertise of its parent company, Glimmersteel set out to develop a larger civilian vehicle, seeking the profits of a market that had been largely disregarded in favour of ever further militarisation.
More versatile than its hoverbike cousin, the Swyftwhisper quickly rose to popularity, with its autocab and ambulance configurations being bought in vast numbers by the Freeholds of the Erakhian Federation, though the latter was commonly altered to feature three medical stretchers and no seats, as Erakhians had long favoured the use of medical droids as first responders.
