  HISTORY​

  She never asked to be born amidst galactic conflict. To be brought into a world comfortably nested into the core of the galaxy while other worlds around it in the outer and expansion regions suffered from being so far abroad. Yet she was.
  
  Syala Braste was born to the previous seat holder for Nubia in the Galactic Senate and was quickly ushered into education to become the next in line. From an early age she was exposed to politics, economics and the sciences, learning quickly even as an infant that she had to act better than she was to get the attention she sought. A developed trait that would benefit her greatly over the years to her late youth; much to her dismay at times but to the great pleasure of the men and women of Nubia that watched her grow into a beautiful and well educated young woman.
  
  Upon reaching the age that she could begin to attend greater education and position herself in a station she desired. A chance that she did not pass up by unceremoniously diving headfirst into a hobby of ship building that she harbored since she was a young girl. She would not deny that it helped greatly that her family was close with the owners and executors of Nubian Star Drives. Though as much as she loved it she would have to balance her passions with the wishes of her parents.
  
  And so it was that upon her father's stepping down from the position as senator that she was ushered forth by her people to become the new Senator. An honor she accepted while continuing to stay in close communication with the shipwrights of Nubian Star Drives, entertaining their various ideas and even going so far as issuing her own designs when the opportunity presented itself.
  
  Though she was still young and not nearly as experienced as her father, she would not let the beauty, elegance and good nature of the planet Nubia go without a voice.
