Sylix is a member of a largely enigmatic species of conquerors. Their empire, once a vast power within the Unknown Regions, has been ravaged by the rise of the Brotherhood of the Maw, and their territories were thrown into chaos and disorder. Seeing no end to the Maw's warpath, Sylix took it upon himself to leave the empire he knew behind to aid the enemies of the Brotherhood directly so that their success would save his people from destruction at the hands of this barbarous force from beyond the Core.
