Synal is founded on medical equipment secretly salvaged after the Sith Empire’s razing of Thyferra and resources salvaged from Sith-Imperial facilities. These resources have been sitting in storage since the fall of the Sith Empire, waiting for the right moment. Synal Pharmaceutical has no overt ties to the Sith or the Sith Empire, and is exceedingly private about its’ leadership. Instead, the company moves focus on its charitable Synal Foundation, which distributes medical supplies to war-stricken areas. On its surface, the Synal Pharmaceutical company is simply another actor moving in on the production of medicine in a violent time when their goods are most needed. Synal sales personnel working out of Sluis Van sell their supplies openly to all nations, claiming: “Suffering is the true enemy.” Synal Pharmaceutical appear to have their eye on the Outer Rim for further expansion, claiming they want to decentralize the galactic bacta and kolto production to avoid shortages.
RATIONALE
Nan’eth’illa, though young, has a shrewd mind and resourceful silent partners that want her company to succeed. She purchased a stalling Andromeda Inc and has since made a steady profit. With her creditor out of the picture, it is now time to expand. With resources secretly collected from Sith-Imperial campaigns and support from anonymous backers, Andromeda Incorporated founded Synal Pharmaceutical as a subsidiary. Soon after, they formed a charity, The Synal Foundation, which distributes Synal medical equipment to war-stricken areas of the galaxy.
